Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi class concern terhaap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Natar Lampung Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen, serta analisi data menggunakan rumus statistik. Populai dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Natar Lampung Selatan, sedangkan sampel diambil 2 kelas  VIII 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik pengundian. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t. Dari hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan rumus statistik thitung diperoleh t  = 8,67. Dari tabel distribusi t pada taraf signifikan 5 % diketahui ttabel= t((1-1/2 α))= 2,00 artinya  thitung > ttabel yaitu 8,67 > 2,00, sehingga bahwa strategi class concern  berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pememcahan masalah matematika kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Natar Lampung Selatan.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa serta model pembelajaran yang kurang menunjang berkembangnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis pesrta didik merupakan inti permasalahndalam penelitian ini. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh  Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Group Investigation Terhadap Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 2 Kemuning kabupaten Tanggamus. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan Populasinya seluruh peserta didik kelas V semester genap yang terdiri dari 3 kelas dan berjumlah 98, sedangkan sampelnya adalah peserta didik kelas VA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VC sebagai kelas kontrol. Untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik, penulis melakukan tes dalam bentuk essay sebanyak 5 soal yang terlebih dahulu telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan rumus statistik uji  pada taraf signifikan 5 % menunjukkan bahwa  () sehingga rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation lebih tinggi dari pada kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional pada peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 2 Kemuning Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Hal ini juga terlihat dari rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik dimana kelas eksperimen dengan rata-rata 77,60 dan kelas kontrol 63,38.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the problem-solving abilities of students of class VIII at SMP Negeri 10 Bandar Lampung, in learning mathematics using the Reciprocal Teaching learning model. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). This action is carried out in 2 cycles where each cycle consists of 4 meetings. At each cycle, students are given a final cycle test to measure their problem solving abilities. Data analysis techniques in this research are descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis. The results showed that learning mathematics using the Reciprocal Teaching learning model can improve problem solving skills. This is indicated by an increase in the average value of the first cycle test of 57.40, while the second cycle test of 73.80. The average percentage of problem solving aspects in cycles I and II are as follows: (a) the ability to understand the problem increases from 50% to 75%, (b) the ability to plan problem solving increases from 62% to 77%, (c) the ability to carry out the plan increased from 59% to 70%, and (d) the ability to interpret the results obtained increased from 61% to 73%.

Abstract

The Corona outbreak has made everything change routine, including in terms of education. In the past, learning in universities was carried out face-to-face, but now learning must be carried out online. The purpose of this study was to find out how much effective online learning was during the COVID-19 pandemic for students. This study uses an exploratory descriptive approach in the scope of qualitative research. The research subjects were active students of the mathematics education study program STKIP PGRI Bandar Lampung semester 2 and 4 of the 2020/2021 academic year. The research data was obtained by using a questionnaire in the form of a google form which was filled in by the 2 and 4 semester students via a smartphone or laptop. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively, starting with grouping based on the category of responses, then describing the different responses from students. This study found obstacles in the online learning process, namely students' economic problems that could affect the ownership of mobile phones as the main support for online learning, constraints on internet packages or wifi networks, and poor networks in the student environment. The results of the research can be concluded that online learning is not effective.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Brain Based Learning on the ability to solve mathematical problems of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 34 Bandar Lampung Academic Year 2017/2018. Learning is carried out on two classes, one class as an experimental class in learning using the Brain Based Learning model, and one class as a control class where in the learning process applying a conventional system. Where the experimental class was sampled in class VIII H, amounting to 35 students, and the control class was class VIII G, amounting to 33 students. Hypothesis testing uses the average two similarity test (ttes). From the results of testing the hypothesis obtained thit = 4.40. From tebel t distribution at a significant level of 5% it is known thit = t (1 - ½α) = 2.00 meaning thit> tdat is 4.40> 2.00 so it can be concluded that there is an influence on the application of the Brain Based Learning learning model to the problem solving ability mathematics students, especially in class VIII SMP Negeri 34 Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this study is "Is there any effect of the Treffinger Learning Model using a contextual approach on the mathematics learning outcomes of class X students in the even semester of SMK Persada Bandar Lampung in the 2018/2019 school year?". The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Treffinger Learning Model using a contextual approach on the mathematics learning outcomes of even semester X students of SMK Persada Bandar Lampung in the 2018/2019 school year. In this study the authors used the experimental method. The experimental method is a method that deliberately evokes an event or situation, then how the result. In other words, the experimental method is a method of experimental activity, so that students experience and prove what they have learned for themselves. Abstract

The learning starts with a questions learning model is one way that stimulates students to ask questions without any explanation of the material from the teacher first. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the learning starts with a questions learning model on students' mathematical communication skills in learning mathematics. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The population in this study were all eighth grade students of SMP Perintis 1 Bandar Lampung which were divided into 2 classes with a total of 50 students. The sample was taken using total random sampling, which consisted of 2 classes, namely the experimental class VIIIa who learned to apply the learning starts with a questions learning model and the control class VIIIb who learned to use conventional learning. Data collection techniques using test techniques. Data analysis was used using t test. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that thit = 5.03, and from the distribution table at a significant level of 5%, it was obtained that tdaf = 2.02. The result reminds that thit thit > tdaf. The results showed that the average experimental class learning outcomes = 81.56 while the control class learning outcomes = 63.68, that thit >tdaf. From the results of research and data analysis, it can be concluded that the learning starts with a questions learning model has a positive effect on the mathematical communication skills of class VIII odd semester students of SMP Perintis 1 Bandar Lampung in the 2020/2021 academic year.

Abstract

Mathematical critical thinking ability is one of the objectives of learning mathematics. This ability is a provision for students in dealing with problems. The importance of this ability is not in line with the abilities of junior high school students in the current distance learning conditions, for this reason this study examines the effectiveness of the Open Ended approach in terms of the mathematical critical thinking abilities of eighth grade students in odd semesters of SMP Negeri 13 Bandar Lampung in the 2021/2022 academic year. This research is a quasi-experimental research, with a population of all students of class VIII Odd Semester SMP Negeri 13 Bandar Lampung. The sample of 2 classes, namely class VIII 1 as the experimental class, and class VIII 3 as the control class, were taken using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Students' mathematical critical thinking ability is measured by a test in the form of an essay as many as 5 questions which have been tested for validity and reliability. The results of hypothesis testing show the value of thitung = 7.35. From the t distribution table at a significant level of 5%, it is known that ttabel = t(1-α) = 1.67. This means that thitung > ttabel, so it can be concluded that the application of the Open Ended approach is effective in terms of the mathematical critical thinking skills of class VIII students in the odd semester of SMP Negeri 13 Bandar Lampung in the 2021/2022 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Co-Op Co-Op learning model on students' mathematical communication skills. This research is a quantitative research with an experimental method and uses a Pre-Experimental design in the form of a Posttest-Only Control Design. The population in this study were all class VIII SMP Perintis 1 Bandar Lampung which consisted of 77 students. Samples were taken by simple random sampling technique. The sample consisted of two classes, namely class VIII.1 as the experimental class with 27 students and class VIII.2 as the control class with 25 students. Based on hypothesis testing, it is obtained that students' mathematical communication skills with the Co-Op Co-Op model are higher than conventional learning. From the results of research and data analysis, it can be concluded that learning begins with a question learning model that has a positive effect on mathematical communication skills of class VIII students in odd semesters. Pioneer 1 Junior High School Bandar Lampung for the academic year 2021.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the problem-solving abilities of junior high school students on similarity material with the Problem Solving learning model. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this study were 27 children. Samples of class students at SMP Negeri 45 Bandar Lampung. The method used to collect data is to use written worksheets with mathematical problem solving skills on congruence material. The results showed that the mathematical problem solving abilities of class IX students of SMP Negeri 45 Bandar Lampung were already high. Judging from the presentation, it was stated that students were able to identify known elements, apply strategies and develop mathematical models. Overall, students' mathematical problem-solving abilities, especially in congruence material, are in high qualification, although there are some students who are still in low qualification.
