Abstract

Panakawan is a group character in a wayang ( Javanese traditional puppet show) show. Each panakawan is unique and capable of explaining various roles. The group can be met in various types of wayang in Indonesia. The panakawan special characteristic is that unlike other wayang characters, they have the by design ugly, invalid and unroportional appearances. Since when these characters existed in the Indonesian wayang is unknown. It is necessary to investigate the historical aspect of Panakawan. There are two tracks can be followed in scrutinizing the characters, namely the verbal aspect and the pictorial aspect. In verbal aspect, the data was obtained from notes, writings, literary works, etc in the form of publications or manuscripts. In pictorial aspect, the data is gathered from pictures, things, artifacts, etc.Keywords: panakawan, historical, archelogical

Abstract

In Islam expanding in Jaw, known to have prohibition order about depiction of mortal, what hitherto still trusted by society, enjomment depiction of the mortal its wide o f impact especially at fine arts growth in Indonesia. One of the effect ofenjoiment depiction of mortal in Islam is materialization ofpurwashadow play. Prohibiton order depiction o f that mortal bring advantage in shadow play growth in Indonesia, that is creation form puppets whish stilistik with depiction o f purwa puppets by ideoplastik, a way of materialization o f mortal able to be accepted in Islam teaching.Keyword: mortal, purwa shadow play, prohibition order.

Abstract

Dalam penelitian tentang kaligrafi jawa ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk kaligrafi jawa yang berfigur wayang dan keanekaragamannya, serta untuk mengetahui jenis dan bentuk tokoh wayang purwa apa saja yang digunakan sebagai model dalam kaligrafi Jawa. Berdasar hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa kaligrafi jawa sudah tidak populer lagi, namun tetap memiliki daya tarik dari keunikan-keunikannya. Wujud dari kaligrafi jawa bermacam- macam sesuai dengan keinginan pembuat kaligrafi, salah satunya mengambil figur wayang purwa. Tokoh wayang purwa yang di gunakan dalam membuat kaligrafi terbatas pada tokoh satria dan punakawan. Punakawan yang paling menonjol dalam kaligrafi jawa ini adalah Semar. Isi dari kaligrafi jawa umumnya merupakan petuah-petuah atau kata-kata bijak yang harus diketahui, dipahami, dan diimplementasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Katakunci: wayang purwa, kaligrafi jawa

Abstract

Using up wood due to the renewable lease of the woods has resulted in the abundance ofwaste of wood. Workshop on woodcarving and souvenir made of waste of wood as raw material was held and attended by participant from all regions of the district of Malinau. Using waste of wood to good advantage will give added value and will improve the welfare of the society.
