Abstract

Development of Jatropha in large scale in dryland requires plant material with high productivity and ability to adapt drought conditions. Attempt to maintain the stability of jatropha production in dry land can be done through grafting technology by combining the advantages of prospective shoot section which has high yield potential as a scion and rootstock candidates from plant material that is able to adapt to limited water availability. Three activities were carried out at the first year experiments including (1) selection method of drought stress that is fast, accurate and simple under laboratory condition, and (2) adaptability study of jatropha rootstock candidates associated with drought stress in glasshouse and in the field. The result showed that the method of drought stress that was fast, accurate and simple under laboratory condition was that using polyethylene glycol. Three jatropha rootstocks, namely IP-3M, Sulawesi 117, dan NTB 047, are tolerant to drought stress associated with drought stress both in glasshouse and in the field condition.

Abstract

Currently, the community is recovering after Covid-19 which hit several years ago. Not only in all aspects of human life but also in the world of health, because almost all aspects of human life are paralyzed, especially in the economic sector. Sungai Luar Village has eco-tourism potential that can be one of the natural resources, natural and cultural uniqueness, and potential to become one of the primary undeveloped sectors so that it is expected to be able to improve the welfare of local communities which has an impact on increasing Regional Original Revenue (PAD). Ecotourism design focuses on being divided into two main parts, in terms of infrastructure and promotion through social media. In terms of infrastructure, it focuses on the construction of road access to the location of the tourist attraction. As for promotional media, it focuses on introduction through social media such as websites, posters, and advertising videos. It is hoped that this ecotourism design can improve and help economic recovery and increase the PAD of Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau. Saat ini masyarakat sedang dalam pemulihan pasca Covid-19 yang melanda beberapa tahun lalu. Tidak hanya dalam segala aspek kehidupan manusia tetapi juga dalam dunia kesehatan, Karena hampir semua bagian kehidupan manusia mengalami kelumpuhan, terutamamdalam bidangMperekonomian. Desa sungai luar memiliki potensi ekowisata yang dapat menjadi salah satu sumbermdaya alam, keunikanmalam danMbudaya, serta berpotensi menjadiMsalah satuMsektor utama yang belumMberkembang sehingga diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakatmlokal yangmberdampak padaMpeningkatan PendapatanMAsli DaerahM(PAD). Desain ekowisata berfokus dibagi menjadi dua bagian utama, dari segi infrastruktur dan promosi melalui media sosial. Dari segi infrastruktur berfokus kepada pembangunan akses jalan menuju lokasi objek wisata. Sedangkan untuk media promosi berfokus pada pengenalan melalui media sosial seperti website, poster, dan video iklan. Diharapkan dengan adanya desain ekowisata ini dapat meningkatkan serta membantu pemulihan ekonomi dan meningkatkan PAD Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir, Riau.
