Abstract

The reasoning is the ability to find a way to get the truth. In terminology, logic is the science that governs the process of human thinking so that the results presented can reach the truth. So it can be concluded also that by reasoning, humans can make an argument that is absolute and can be accepted by others through logical thinking. This research was conducted to determine the mathematical reasoning ability of MTs class 8 students on Triangle and Quadrilateral material based on indicators of mathematical reasoning ability that is to draw a logical conclusion and compose an argument, analogical reasoning, transductive reasoning, deductive reasoning, generalization and estimate answers, solutions or tendency with non-routine troubleshooting. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data to be analyzed is qualitative data in the form of written and oral answers obtained from the written test. This research was conducted in MTs PPI 38 Padalarang with the subject of this research is class VIII-A which amounted to 31 people. Based on the results of research, students' mathematical reasoning abilities on MTs PPI 38 Padalarang are classified as sufficient. This is because there are some reasoning indicators that still need to be improved especially on analytical reasoning and generalization indicator as stated in the table which has been described.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the motivation to learn mathematics students after learning to use media for VBA Excel. The research was carried out in Mts Nurul Hidayah with the number of subjects being 25 students of grade 8A. The focus on what will be studied is the students' motivation to learn mathematics, with 50% positive statements and 50% negative statements presented which are adjusted to the indicators of mathematics learning motivation. Descriptive research with a qualitative approach used to achieve research objectives. 20 statements representing 6 indicators were given to students by given answer choices, namely strongly agree, agree, disagree, and disagree. Data analysis was carried out by giving points to each student's choice, then accumulating to get the final results and adjusting the categories including whether or not students' motivation to learn mathematics after learning using VBA for Excel. From the data tabulation results obtained an average of each indicator of learning motivation is 81.29%. In accordance with the large classification percent is in the very good category. So it can be said that students' motivation to learn mathematics is very good after learning to use media for VBA Excel.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' difficulties in solving questions on statistics material. This research method uses qualitative methods with a qualitative approach. Processing data in this study using a percentage formula to see the difficulties experienced by students. Retrieval of data in this study used the results of the student answer test based on statistical question instruments with indicators of student achievement; 1) linking mathematical ideas into diagrams, 2) explaining mathematical ideas, situations, and mathematical relations orally or in writing with graphs and algebra, 3) expressing everyday events into language or mathematical symbols, 4) making mathematical models of situations and solving them, 5 ) compile questions about the statistics that have been studied. Based on the results of the study, the difficulty of students in solving questions on student statistics material was 83% still unable to connect mathematical ideas into diagrams and on the indicator r to explain ideas, situations, and mathematical relationships orally or in writing with graphics and algebra, which were not able to compose questions in accordance with what has been learned, as many as 88% of students still experience difficulties to compile a question including the high category. The contributing factor is that students have not been able to understand the basic concepts of statistics, on average students have difficulty understanding the meaning of the questions and it is difficult to determine how to solve the questions.

Abstract

The focus of this research is to find out students' mistakes when solving matrix material problems. The subjects in this study were class X students in one of the private vocational schools in Kab. Bandung with a total of 23 people. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. In this study there are three stages, namely planning, implementation, and reporting. This research data collection, using student test results based on a matrix question instrument in the form of a description consisting of five questions. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The conclusion in this study there are errors made by students when answering the questions that have been given, namely: students do not use matrix symbols, students do not work systematically, students are still wrong in calculating the final results, students do not carry out the calculation process, students do not understand the problem, students do not find conclusions, the problem solving is not to the end. The percentage of student errors with the highest criteria in solving matrix material questions is in question number 5 with a percentage of 92%. Meanwhile, the student's error with the lowest criteria is in question number 1 with a percentage of 16%.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh padat tebar yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup ikan baung yang dipelihara pada sistem resirkulasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 30 hari dari tanggal 03 Mei sampai dengan 03 Juni 2017, bertempat di Laboratorium Teknologi Budidaya Fakultas Perikanan dan Kelautan Universitas Riau. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) satu faktor dengan 4 taraf perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Dari hasil penelitian perlakuan yang terbaik terdapat pada kepadatan ikan 20 ekor/0,05 m3 (400 ekor/m3)dengan pertumbuhan bobot rata-rata sebesar (15,76 gram) dengan pertumbuhan bobot mutlak (12,57 gram), pertumbuhan panjang mutlaknya sebesar 4,33 cm, laju harian (5,32 %) dengan kelulushidupan ikan sebesar 100 %. Kualitas air selama penelitian diperoleh pH 6,5-7,4, suhu 26-27 0C, DO 4,0-5,2 mg/l, amonia 0,04-0,11 mg/l. Hasi penelitian ikan baung (Mystus nemurus C.V) dengan padat tebar berbeda pada sistem resirkulasi berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan bobot mutlak, pertumbuhan panjang mutlak, laju pertumbuhan harian ikan, efisiensi pakan, konversi pakan dan kualitas air.Kata Kunci :Pertumbuhan bobot, pertumbuhan panjang, laju harian, kualitas air

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini penulis menganalisis tentang kesulitan siswa dalam proses kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik. Berdasarkan analisis, kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh siswa dalam mengerjakan soal pemecahan masalah matematik pada materi kubus dan balok pada indikator Mengidentifikasi strategi yang dapat ditempuh hanya mencapai 21% dan rata-rata persentase kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik siswa yaitu 43%. Instrumen soal yang digunakan adalah soal yang sudah diuji realibilitas, validitas, daya beda dan indeks kesukarannya juga telah divalidasi oleh validator ahli. Metode penelitian menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pencapaian indikator dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik pada tiap butir pernyataan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian secara keseluruhan bahwa pencapaian indikator dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik siswa tergolong masih rendah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian non eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan tingkat aktualisasi diri anggota Persit Kartika Chandra Kirana ditinjau dari pangkat suami di Batalyon Infanteri 512 Kompi C Malang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anggota Persit Kartika Chandra Kirana yang ada di Batalyon Infanteri 512 Kompi C Malang dengan jumlah 75 orang yaitu 5 orang istri Perwira, 25 orang istri Bintara, 49 Istri Tamtama. Untuk pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik stratified sampel. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala aktualisasi diri dengan koefisien korelasi product moment antara 0,5378-0,5823 dan koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,9994. Dari hasil analisa data yang menggunakan teknik anava 1 jalur menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan tingkat aktualisasi diri anggota Persit Kartika Chandra Kirana ditinjau dari pangkat suami diterima pada taraf sangat signifikan  dimana FoA sebesar 8,31911018 lebih besar dari f tabel 1% = 4.61 dan f tabel 5%.Dengan demikian ada perbedaan dimana istri Perwira memiliki aktualisasi diri lebih tinggi dibanding istri Bintara dan Tamtama.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesulitan-kesulitan belajar siswa pada pelajaran matematika khususnya materi peluang pada siswa kelas XI IPS SMAN 1 Cipeundeuy. Jenis serta pendekatan yang diambil pada penelitian yaitu jenis penelitian deskriptif  dan pendekatan kualitatif adapun cara untuk mengetahui data dengan menggunakan rumus presentase P = f/n x 100 %. Dari penelitian juga dapat disimpulkan kesulitan siswa kelas XI IPS dalam pelajaran matematika pada materi peluang yaitu kurangnya pemahaman siswa dalam konsep materi peluang, kurang tepatanya penggunaan rumus dalam menyelesaikan setiap soal. Serta siswa  kurang memiliki rasa ingin tahu dan kemauan untuk mempelajari lebih dalam materi peluang, siswa lebih senang apabila guru yang menyelesaikan soal. Sehingga terbukti bahwa adanya kesulitan belajar matematika siswa kelas XI pada materi peluang di SMAN 1 Cipeundeuy.Kata-kata kunci:Analisis Kesulitan Belajar, Peluang

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the interest in learning mathematics for fifth grade elementary school students on prime number material assisted by ICT learning media, namely Visual Basic Application (VBA) Excel. The research method uses qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were 5th grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) II Celak which consisted of 26 students. The instrument was given in the form of a questionnaire for students' interest in learning consisting of 20 statements, with 10 positive statements each and 10 negative statements from five indicators, 1). Feelings of pleasure, 2). Student interests, 3). Student involvement, 4). Diligent in studying and diligent in doing math tasks, 5). Diligent and disciplined in learning and having a study schedule. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that learning mathematics using VBA media can increase student learning interest. This is shown by the percentage of each indicator of student interest in learning. The highest indicator is the feeling of pleasure and interest of students in learning mathematics, each getting 87.02% and 89.18% which shows that students' interest in learning mathematics is very high.
