Abstract

This study aims to describe resilience teacher at Elementary school III at Small Pagerungan Island. Aspects of resilience in this study are phase of resilience refers to Patterson and Kelleher (2005) and the strategy of resilience refers to Diah and Pradna (2012). This type of research is descriptive qualitative with case study approach. The subjects were 5 teachers (Subject I: government employee (PNS) teachers senior and immigrant from Java, Subject II: government employee (PNS) teachers senior natives, subject III: temporary teacher who has taught more than 10 years, Subject IV: new civil servant teachers a few years removed, and subject V: new no permanent teachers who teach less than 5 years). Data collected through in-depth interviews with each subject of study. Analysis of data using thematic analysis approach hybrid refers to Fereday and Muir-Cochrane version. The results showed that the phase of resilience to be taken by each teacher is different. Subjects I and II has reached growing phase. Subject IV and V are still at the stage of deteriorating phase, while the subject III only at adapting phase. Subjects I and II have an optimistic view and gave rise to 7 points strategy of resilience, which is a positive attitude to face difficulties, focusing on the core value, versatile in the running for the purpose, willing to take concrete steps to face difficulties, create conditions of self and supportive environment, maintain hope and expectation is high, and develop an attitude of participation and responsibility. Subject IV and V are relatively more optimistic, but because the teaching experience is still limited cause-point strategy of resilience that appears only reached 4, which is flexible in an effort to achieve goals, create conditions of self and supportive environment, maintain hope and expectation is high, and develop an attitude of participation and responsibility. Subject III is more pessimistic and pragmatic look at the future of the profession so that a strategy of resilience that comes only three, namely flexible in an effort to achieve the goal, to create the conditions themselves and a supportive environment, and develop an attitude of participation and responsibility. Point’s resilience strategy that appears, consciously or not by the fifth subject, has been assisting survive to teach at Elementary school III Small Pagerungan Island belonging to the category of remote schools, schools with limited resources, and minimal attention from government.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the implementation of school rules in optimizing the culture of student discipline, along with the obstacles encountered and the solutions implemented in the Muhammadiyah Nangahure Aliyah Madrasah. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this study were the principal, teachers, and students. Data collection was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The validity checking technique uses source triangulation. The results of the study show that the principal in implementing discipline in optimizing the culture of student discipline is carried out through the application of regulations, penalties, and rewards. The value of discipline is consistent in its application for students. The application of punishment and rewards made by school principals and teachers in the form of coaching to students. Teachers to optimize the culture of student discipline at school through advice to always be disciplined, give direct examples and familiarize children with disciplined life through four disciplinary elements namely fixed rules, strict punishment appreciation, and consistency. Constraints faced are lack of awareness or concern for parents about education and lack of teacher discipline at school.Keywords: School rules, Character, Discipline culture Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi tata tertib sekolah dalam optimalisasi budaya disiplin siswa, beserta kendala–kendala yang dihadapi serta solusi yang diterapkan di Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Nangahure. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Kepala sekolah, guru dan siswa.Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data analisis dengan menggunakan reduksi data, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan menggunakan triangulasi sumber.Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah dalam mengimplementasikan tata tertib dalam optimalisasi budaya disiplin siswa dilakukan melalui penerapan peraturan, hukuman dan penghargaan. Nilai disiplin sudah konsisten penerapannnya bagi siswa. Penerapan hukuman dan penghargaan yang dilakukan kepala sekolah dan guru dalam bentuk pembinaan kepada siswa.Guru dalam upaya mengoptimalkan budaya disiplin siswa di sekolah melalui nasehat untuk selalu disiplin, memberi contoh langsung dan membiasakan anak hidup disiplin melalui empat unsur disiplin yaitu peraturan yang tetap, hukuman tegas, penghargaan dan konsistensi. Kendala yang dihadapi yaitu kurangnya kesadaran atau kepedulian orang tua terhadap pendidikan dan kurangnya disiplin guru di sekolah.Kata kunci: Tata tertib sekolah, karakter, Budaya disiplin

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to describe the implementation of character education based on a tolerance between religious communities conducted at Muhammadiyah Maumere High School. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research on the implementation of character education based on tolerance among religious people conducted at Muhammadiyah Maumere High School. Data source obtained from primary data and secondary data. Primary data included informants which included the Principal, Deputy Principal for Student Affairs, Teachers (Islamic Religious Education, Catholicism, Citizenship), and Students. Data obtained from interviews with informants, observations and study documents. Data analysis techniques in this study began by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Testing the validity of the data using source triangulation techniques. The results obtained in this study indicate that the form of implementation of character education based on a tolerance between religious communities starts from the teacher implementing character education and applying tolerance values in the teaching and learning process of planning, implementation, and assessment, giving examples or examples to students in each learning process. Constraints faced are the lack of support and attention from parents, schools are less firm in applying and the lack of examples and support from teachers. Efforts made by the school are conducting religious activities and increasing extracurricular activities and conducting interpersonal communication.Keywords: Character Education, Tolerance, Religious harmony Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pendidikan karakter berbasis toleransi antar umat beragama yang dilakukan di SMA Muhammadiyah Maumere. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif terhadap implementasi pendidikan karakter berbasis toleransi antar umat beragama yang dilakukan di SMA Muhammadiyah Maumere.  Sumber datadiperoleh dari data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer ada informan yang meliputi Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah bidang Kesiswaan, Guru (Pendidikan Agama Islam, Agama Katolik, Kewarganegaraan), dan Siswa. Data diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dengan informan, observasi dan studi dokumen. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini dimulai dengan mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bentuk implementasi pendidikan karakter berbasis toleransi antar umat beragama dimulai dari Guru mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter dan menerapkan nilai toleransi dalam proses belajar mengajar dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan penilaian, memberikan teladan atau contoh kepada siswa dalam setiap proses pembelajaran. Kendala yang dihadapi yaitu kurangnya dukungan dan perhatian dari orangtua, sekolah kurang tegas menerapkan dan kurangnya contoh serta dukungan dari guru. Upaya yang dilakukan oleh sekolah yaitu melakukan kegiatan keagamaan dan meningkatkan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan melakukan komunikasi antar personal.Kata kunci: Pendidikan Karakter, Toleransi, Kerukunan Umat Beraga

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the efforts to improve student discipline through choir extracurricular activities at SMA Nita 1. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This research was carried out in SMA Nita 1. Primary data sources in this study are the principal, vice-principals in the field of students and students, counseling guidance teachers, teacher choir extra coaches, students, school committees. Secondary data sources were obtained from documents in the form of school profiles, school vision and mission documents, teacher data documents, choir extracurricular program activities documents. Data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using an interactive model that is data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Data validity techniques through source triangulation. The results showed that efforts to improve student discipline through choir extracurricular activities in SMA Nita 1 were applied in habituation, role models, awareness, and supervision. Supporting factors to improve student discipline through choir extracurricular activities at SMA Nita 1 include school policies, cooperation between coaches, parents and also community leaders. the inhibiting factors are students, extra coaches, education personnel, facilities and infrastructure, parents, weather, distance from home school.Keywords: Discipline, Character Education, Extracurricular, Choir Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa melaui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler paduan suara di SMA Negeri 1 Nita. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Nita. Sumber data primer dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang dan kesiswaan, guru bimbingan konseling, guru pembina ekstra paduan suara, siswa, komite sekolah. Sumber data sekunder diperoleh dari dokumen berupa profil sekolah, dokumen visi dan misi sekolah, dokumen data guru, dokumen program kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Paduan Suara. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data menggunakan model interaktif yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Teknik keabsahan data melalui triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa melaui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler paduan suara di SMA Negeri 1 Nita diterapkan dalam kegiatan pembiasaan, teladan, penyadaran, pengawasan. Faktor pendukung dalam upaya meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa melalui ekstrakurikuler paduan suara di SMA Negeri 1 Nita meliputi kebijakan sekolah, kerja sama antara guru Pembina, orang tua dan juga tokoh masyarakat. faktor penghambatnya adalah siswa, Pembina ekstra, tenaga kependidikan, sarana dan prasarana, orang tua, cuaca, jarak dari rumah kesekolah.Kata kunci: Disiplin, Pendidikan Karakte, Ekstrakurikuler, Paduan suara

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to know the principal's strategy in improving teacher performance. The focus of this study was to find out how the strategy was carried out by the School Principal in Improving Teacher Performance in Gondanglegi 7 SMK Muhammadiyah. This research was conducted with a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of the study were the school principal, deputy headmaster and 2 teachers at SMK Muhammadiyah 7 Gondanglegi. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis in this study was based on Miles and Huberman's steps: data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of the study show how the strategies are undertaken by the principal in improving teacher performance in SMK Muhammadiyah 7 Gondanglegi, starting from the planning made by the school principal, the implementation carried out by the principal; Discipline, Motivator, and Rewards and Punishment, the evaluation conducted by the principal consists of Attendance, MSG, sustainable professional development (PKB), Administration, School activities to improve teacher performance and student questionnaires.Keywords: Strategy, Principal, Teacher Performance Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui stategi kepala sekolah dalam peningkatan kinerja guru. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah dan 2 guru yang ada di SMK Muhammadiyah 7 Gondanglegi. Teknik pengumpulan data melelui kegiatan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini didasarkan atas langkah-langkah Miles dan Huberman: pengumpulan data, penyajian data, reduksi data dan penarikan kesimpulan / verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bagimana strategi yang dilakukan kepala sekolah dalam peningkatan kinerja guru di SMK Muhammadiyah 7 Gondanglegi, mulai dari perencanaan yang dilakukan kepala sekolah, pelaksanaan yang dilakukan kepala sekolah; Kedisiplinan, Motivator dan Rewads dan Punishment, evalusi yang dilakukan kepala sekolah terdiri dari: Kehadiran, MSG, pengembangan keprofesionalan berkelanjutan (PKB), Administrasi, Kegiatan sekolah guna meningkatkan kinerja guru dan angket siswa.Kata kunci: Strategi, Kepala Sekolah, Kinerja Guru

Abstract

Abstract: The study aims to (1) knowing the learning process and learning outcomes variations dribbling participants extracurricular football class X in SMK Muhammadiyah 7 Gondanglegi; (2) knowing the increase in dribbling learning outcomes of class X extracurricular soccer participants at SMK Muhammadiyah 7 Gondanglegi Malang Regency after participating in dribbling variation learning. This type of research is qualitative with Class Action Research design (PTK). The research instruments include observation sheets, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used to analyze student learning outcomes is a descriptive analysis technique percentage. The results showed (1) The learning process of dribbling variation in the students is done in two cycles. Variations of dribbling exercises given in cycle 1 include (a) U-dribbling exercises using inner legs, outer legs and back, (b) Z-dribbling exercises using inner legs, outer legs, and backs, (c) 8-dribbling exercises using inner legs, outer legs and back foot, and (d) doing dribble with pass and control exercises. Variations of the dribbling exercises given in cycle 2 include (a) Z-dribbling exercises using inner legs, outer legs and back, (b) 8-dribbling exercises using inner legs, outer legs and backs, and Exercise dribble with pass and control. (2) The application of learning dribbling variation in the extracurricular participants of class X football at SMK Muhammadiyah 7 Gondanglegi showed the percentage of students' learning completeness classically in cycle 1 reaching 62.5% (25 students reaching KKM 65), then the percentage is increased and has reached the expected percentage target in cycle 2 is 87.5% (35 students reaching KKM 65).Keywords: Dribbling variations, soccer, learning outcomes Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) mengetahui proses pembelajaran dan hasil belajar variasi dribbling peserta ekstrakurikuler sepak bola kelas X di SMK Muhammadiyah 7 Gondanglegi; (2) mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar dribbling peserta ekstrakurikuler sepak bola kelas X di SMK Muhammadiyah 7 Gondanglegi Kabupaten Malang setelah mengikuti pembelajaran variasi dribbling. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan rancangan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Instrumen peneltian meliputi lembar observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menganalisis hasil belajar siswa adalah teknik analisis deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Proses pembelajaran variasi dribbling pada siswa dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Variasi latihan dribbling yang diberikan pada siklus 1 meliputi (a) latihan U-dribbling menggunakan kaki bagian dalam, kaki bagian luar dan punggung kaki, (b) latihan Z-dribbling menggunakan kaki bagian dalam, kaki bagian luar dan punggung kaki, (c) latihan 8-dribbling menggunakan kaki bagian dalam, kaki bagian luar dan punggung kaki, serta (d) melakukan latihan dribble with pass and control. Variasi latihan dribbling yang diberikan pada siklus 2 meliputi (a) latihan Z-dribbling menggunakan kaki bagian dalam, kaki bagian luar dan punggung kaki, (b) latihan 8-dribbling menggunakan kaki bagian dalam, kaki bagian luar dan punggung kaki, serta (c) latihan dribble with pass and control. (2) Penerapan pembelajaran variasi dribbling pada peserta ekstrakurikuler sepak bola kelas X di SMK Muhammadiyah 7 Gondanglegi menunjukkan persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa secara klasikal pada siklus 1 yang mencapai 62,5% (25 siswa mencapai KKM 65), kemudian persentase tersebut meningkat dan telah mencapai target persentase yang diharapkan pada siklus 2 yaitu 87,5% (35 siswa mencapai KKM 65).Kata kunci: Variasi dribbling, sepak bola, hasil belajar

Abstract

Abstract: Eradication of environmental problems Indonesia has a solution in the form of adiwiyata policies that are implemented in schools. The research objective evaluates the implementation of Adiwiyata after receiving the award with Adiwiyata components including 1) environmentally sound school policies; 2) development of an environment-based curriculum; 3) participatory-based environmental activities; 4) management of environmentally friendly supporting facilities in the context of forming a caring and cultured character in Junior High School 1 Pandaan. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative which aims to evaluate the implementation of the adiwiyata program based on the Adiwiyata program component. Data collection techniques by direct observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validity technique is obtained through source and technique triangulation. The results showed that an evaluation of the results of environmentally sound policies to form a caring attitude and environmental culture had been carried out at Junior High School 1 Pandaan. Evaluation of the results of the implementation of an environment-based curriculum in shaping culture and caring for the environment is only carried out 60% of teachers in integrated learning and has an impact on the application of students' environmental knowledge. Evaluation of the results of participatory-based environmental activities in shaping cultural character and caring for the environment has been carried out but has decreased in cooperation with outsiders and its role as resource persons An evaluation of the results of the management of environmentally friendly supporting facilities in the formation of a caring and cultured character of the environment has been carried out but needs to be further improved in the improvement and management of infrastructure.Keywords: Evaluation, Self Adiwiyata, Character Abstrak: Pengentasan soal masalah lingkungan Negara Indonesia memiliki solusi berupa kebijakan adiwiyata yang diberlakukan di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian mengevaluasi pelaksanaan Adiwiyata pasca diterimanya penghargaan tersebut dengan komponen Adiwiyata meliputi: 1) kebijakan sekolah berwawasan lingkungan; 2) pengembangan kurikulum berbasis lingkungan; 3) kegiatan lingkungan berbasis partisipatif; 4) pengelolaan sarana pendukung ramah lingkungan dalam rangka membentuk karakter peduli dan berbudaya lingkungan di SMPN 1 Pandaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan mengevaluasi pelaksanaan program adiwiyata berdasarkan komponen program Adiwiyata. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi langsung, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data diperoleh melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi hasil kebijakan berwawasan lingkungan untuk membentuk sikap peduli dan budaya lingkungan telah dilaksanakan di SMPN 1 Pandaan. Evaluasi hasil pelaksanaan kurikulum berbasis lingkungan dalam membentuk budaya dan peduli lingkungan hanya dilaksanakan 60% guru dalam pembelajaran terintegrasi dan berdampak pada penerapan pengetahuan lingkungan siswa. Evaluasi hasil kegiatan lingkungan berbasis partisipatif dalam membentuk karakter budaya dan peduli lingkungan telah dilaksanakan namun mengalami penurunan dalam kerja sama dengan pihak luar dan perannya menjadi nara sumber. Evaluasi hasil pengelolaan sarana pendukung ramah lingkungan dalam pembentukan karakter peduli dan berbudaya lingkungan telah dilaksanakan namun perlu ditingkatkan lagi dalam peningkatan dan pengelolaan sarana prasaran.Kata kunci: Evaluasi, Adiwiyata Mandiri, Karakter

Abstract

Abstract: The increasing quality of education in Indonesia until now is inseparable from the role of non-government employees teacher. Non-government employees' teacher is referred to as non-permanent teachers (GTT) in addition to being educators who play roles as operators in improving the quality of education in schools. This study aims to describe the role of non-permanent teachers as classroom teachers and school operators including 1) the role of non-permanent teachers as classroom teachers 2) the role of non-permanent teachers as school operators 3) school principals' policy in facing the role of non-permanent teachers who have roles double as a classroom teacher and school operator. In this study, researchers used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Test the validity of data by extending the time of attendance and source triangulation. The results of the study showed that 1) non-permanent teachers in carrying out their role as classroom teachers cannot run optimally because they are often left behind to carry out their duties as school operators who leave the class at any time. 2) non-permanent teachers in carrying out their roles as operators have multiple tasks, namely as diasporic operators and BOS operators. 3) Principal policies that appoint non-permanent teachers as class teachers and school operators have an impact on the learning process in the classroom.Keywords: Temporary Teacher, School Operator, Principal Policy Abstrak: Membaiknya kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia sampai dengan sekarang tidak terlepas dari peran guru non PNS. Guru non PNS disebut sebagai guru tidak tetap (GTT) selain sebagai pendidik berperan sebagai operator dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang peran guru tidak tetap sebagai guru kelas dan operator sekolah diantaranya: 1) peran guru tidak tetap sebagai guru kelas 2) peran guru tidak tetap sebagai operator sekolah 3) kebijakan kepala sekolah dalam menghadapi peran guru tidak tetap yang memiliki peran ganda sebagai guru kelas dan operator sekolah. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Uji keabsahan data dengan memperpanjang waktu kehadiran dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) guru tidak tetap dalam menjalankan peran sebagai guru kelas tidak dapat berjalan secara maksimal karena sering di tinggalkan untuk melaksanakan tugasnya sebagai operator sekolah yang sewaktu-waktu meninggalkan kelas. 2)guru tidak tetap dalam menjalankan peran sebagai operator memiliki tugas ganda yaitu sebagai operator dapodik dan operator BOS. 3) Kebijakan kepala sekolah yang mengangkat guru tidak tetap menjadi guru kelas dan operator sekolah berdampak terhadap proses pembelajaran di kelas.Kata kunci: Guru Tidak Tetap, Operator Sekolah, Kebijakan Kepala Sekolah

Abstract

Sensitivity, knowledge, belief, and behavior to the environment will bring out good behavior that leads to environmental literacy (EL). This study aimed at analyzing the students’ EL based on the multidimensional perspective. This study comprised of two types, namely library and field research. Questionnaire was developed from The Second Minnesota Report Card on EL. This study was conducted in FKIP-UMM at undergraduate level, from July to October 2020. The types of data were in the form of qualitative and quantitative. The data were obtained from the results of Google Form. The population of this study was the students of FKIP-UMM, in which it consisted of 2.750 students. The subjects were chosen randomly by sharing the link of Google Form thru the WhatsApp group so that 139 students (5%) were obtained. The data and EL findings were analyzed descriptively qualitative analytic. Scaling multidimensional analysis was carried out by using ordination that continued with scaling and percentage processes. The results indicated that (1) Environmental sensitivity tends to show various conditions. (2) Environmental knowledge also tends to vary. (3) Environmental beliefs tend to be good. (4) Environmental behavior in students tends to be good.

Abstract

Research on R&D in education is still very much needed. This systematic literature review (SLR) was aimed to analyze the trend of publications in the field of R&D in the journal of biological education in Indonesia. The results of this SLR will illustrate the condition of R&D publications until 2021, both in terms of quantity, quality, and contribution. This systematic literature review adopts five-step guidelines from Denyer and Tranfield. Based on the study results, it can be seen that journals in the field of biology education have published a total of 379. JPBI has published the most articles, as many as 206 articles. Specifically, in the field of R&D, JPBI has published 37 articles on R&D. This shows a good contribution to the development of science and technology, especially in terms of products produced by R&D. There are 9 models used, and the dominant ones used are 3D Thiagarajan, ADDIE, and Borg & Gall. In general, 61% of articles do not consistently carry out the stages of the R&D model used. The dominant keyword used is "Education". These keywords are often used in conjunction with several other keywords. The results  show that R&D has been widely used to develop products that support education. Most of the R&D carried out by experts is focused on high school and college levels, which are 45% and 40%, respectively.
