Abstract

The growth of electrical consumers in Indonesia continues to increases every year, but it is not matched by the provision of adequate infrastructure that available. This causes the available electrical capacity can't fulfill the demand for electricity.  In this study, a smart computing system is build to solves the problem. Electrical load data per hour is being used as an input to do the electrical load forecasting with Extreme Learning Machine method. Extreme Learning Machine method uses random input weight within range -1 to 1. Before the electric load prediction process runs, genetic algorithms first optimizing the input weight.  According to the test results with weight optimization, MAPE average error rate is 0.799% while without weight optimization the rate rise to 1.1807%. Thus this study implies that Extreme Learning Machine (ELM) method with weight optimization using Genetics Algorithm (GA) can be used in electrical load forecasting problem and give better prediction result

Abstract

Most of failures of startup application in many countries reached 75%, while the startup failures in Indonesia reached 90%. These failures were caused by non-technical or management factors in managing startup. The RPL (Software Engineering) Laboratory of FILKOM of Brawijaya University has a roadmap to develop an application to guarantee the success of a management software project. The data analysis had been performed on FILKOM student’s thesis work which generally develops software that has main obstacle in the management. A study solution which was developed through scientific SDLC and PMLC combined with Scrum method becomes an application named SPM-SCRUM. The results of analysis carried out on several software development projects refer to the Iterative SDPM process. Furthermore, the strategy of Iterative SDPM combined with Scrum method produces a system architecture design that separates the Front End and Back End

Abstract

Inconsistencies in legislation can significantly hinder the effectiveness and efficiency of the central and local government administrations. The Indonesian government requires standard harmonization of each piece of legislation to prevent such problems. However, this process is often manual and requires the involvement of multiple experts with varying backgrounds. This leads to high resource expenses regarding human resources, cost, and time. To address this, a software system should be developed to detect potential disharmony among legislation. However, the system requires a well-constructed legislation conceptual model represented in an appropriate modeling language. This research aims to develop the Indonesian local regulation ontology in web ontology language (OWL), where no such ontology exists. The ontology was created using the Ontology Development 101 methodology and evaluated using competency questions and expert judgment approaches. The resulting ontology becomes a basis for developing an automatic recommendation system to detect potentially inconsistent legislation in future works.
