Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematik (KPMM) mahasiswa PGSD STKIP Garut antara kelompok yang mendapatkan pembelajaran Mathematic In Context (MIC) dengan yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional (PK) dalam mata kuliah Matematika SD Kelas Rendah. Teknik analisis untuk menguji perbedaan KPMM dari dua kelompok data digunakan Uji perbedaan dua rata-rata (Uji-t) dan uji proporsi untuk mengetahui kualitas KPMM dari kedua kelompok tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa KPMM mahasiswa PGSD pada pembelajaran MIC secara signifikan lebih baik dari mahasiswa yang memperoleh PK. Kualitas kemampuan KPMM mahasiswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran MIC berada pada klasifikasi berkemampuan cukup, sedangkan KPMM mahasiswa yang mendapatkan PK berada pada klasifikasi kurang.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the difference of Mathematics Problem Solving (KPMM) of PGSD STKIP Garut students between groups who get learning Mathematic In Context (MIC) with those who get conventional learning (PK) in Mathematics Elementary Class of Low Class. The analytical technique for testing the difference of KPMM from the two data groups was used the two-tension difference test (t-test) and the proportion test to determine the quality of KPMM from both groups. Based on the result of research indicate that KPMM student of PGSD on MIC learning is significantly better than student who get PK. The quality of KPMM ability of the students who get MIC learning is in sufficient qualification classification, whereas KPMM students who get PK are in less classification.Keywords: Mathematical problem solving, mathematic in context

Abstract

Abstract:In Mathematic Subject, the quality of inter pretation and respon are skill a special problem For the student, its because of math characteristic consists alot of terminology and symbols whitch is indicate that the ability of Math communicative is low. Base on that problem, to develop student’s Math Comunicative skill, the whiner would try to Find out the best way to Improve its skill. The wniter chooses Cooperative Learning Through Number Head Together (NHT) to develop student’s mayh communicative. In this research the wniter uses experimental method that she gererates the data to get detail result. The population of study is the student of VIII of MTs.Muhammadiyah Bayubud Wanaraja Garut. The wniter takes random sample of the student, after analiting and experimenting the development of student’s Math comunnicative ability through Cooperative Learning Number Head Together (NHT) is beter than a convertion one.  Abstrak:Dalam matematika, kualitas interpretasi dan respon itu seringkali menjadi masalah istimewa. Hal ini sebagai salah satu akibat dari karakteristik matematika itu sendiri yang sarat dengan istilah dan symbol yang mengiindikasi bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematika masih rendah. Berdasarkan masalah diatas, penulis mencoba mencari cara yang terbaik untuk meningkatkan Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematika siswa dengan pendekatan Kooperatif melalui teknik Number Head Together ( NHT). Penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen, polulasi yang diambila adalah kelas VIII MTs. Muhammadiyah Bayubud wanaraja Garut, dengan sempel acak. Setelah menganalisa dan eksperimen, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa Kemampuan Komuniaksi Matematika siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Number Head Together (NHT) lebih baik dibandingkan pembelajaran Konvensional.

Abstract

Abstract:This study uses a model of learning that is Contextual teaching and learning and method Problem Based Learning. Research conducted a experimental study. Learning with this learning method directs students to be able to solve mathematical problems. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in mathematical problem-solving skills among students who received guided discovery method is better than the students who received contextual teaching learning and problem Based learning method is haven’t better enough significance then between two methods. After doing a pretest and posttest and using a significance level of 5% can be concluded that the mathematical problem-solving ability of students who received contextual teaching and learning methodis no better than problem based learning.Abstrak:Penelitian ini menggunakan dua model pembelajaran yaitu metode Pembelajaran Kontekstual dan Problem Based Learning . Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian  eksperimen. Pembelajaran dengan metode pembelajaran ini mengarahkan siswa untuk mampu memecahkan masalah matematis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis antara siswa yang mendapat metode Pembelajaran Kontekstual dan Problem Based Learning siswa. Setelah melakukan prasyarat  dan postest dan menggunakan taraf signifikansi 5% dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa Tidak terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang mendapat metode Pembelajaran Kontekstual dan Problem Based Learning.

Abstract

Abstract:Problems in research in general can decude whether there are differences in the ability of mathematical communication between students who get a cooperative learning type of Numbered Heads Together with Student Teams Achievement Divisions ? His way is to experiment with the dwarf in the methods o collecting data on the use and provision of pretest postest data analysis done with test normality result of the research showed that ho and ha accepted rejected . Then you can conclude that there is a difference between the student mathematical communication skills that get learning cooperative type of Numbered Heads Together with the Student Teams Achievement Divisions. Abstrak:Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini secara umum dapat dirumuskan apakah terdapat perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematik siswa antara yang mendapatkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together dengan Student Teams Achievement Divisions ?. Cara penelitiannya adalah  dengan metode eksperimen, dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pemberian pretest dan posttest. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji normalitas data, Mann Whitney. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, maka dapat di simpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan komunikasi matematik siswa antara yang mendapatkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together dengan Student Teams Achievement Divisions.

Abstract

Penelitian eksperimen ini  bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan dan membandingkan kemampuan  pemecahan masalah matematik pada kelompok siswa yang pembelajarannya menerapkan pendekatan metakognitif (PM) dan pendekatan konvensional (PK). Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematik. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji gain ternormalisasi dan uji perbedaan dua rata-rata. Hasil utama dari penelitian ini adalah secara keseluruhan siswa yang pembelajarannya dengan PM (kelompok eksperimen) peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematiknya termasuk tinggi dan secara signifikan lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang pembelajarannya dengan PK (kelompok kontrol).

Abstract

Abstract:The Purpose of research is to know the differences of ability problem-solving mathematics between students who get Problem Based learning (PBL) with Jigsaw and for know respons students the model of learning who give. The results this  research  indicate: Not differences of ability problem solving mathematics between students who get Problem Based learning (PBL) learning with the students who get jigsaw learnin. Response the students between experiment class 1 who get learning of model Problem Based learning (PBL) with the students who get learning of model jigsaw, Response the students show positive response although sometimes there students who show negative response.

Abstract

This research was the development of mathematical learning model to improve students’ mathematical thinking and characters. The model developed was Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) – Contextual in the course of mathematics capita selecta of high school. The research used research and development method through ‘thought experiments’ and ‘instruction experiments’ with a cyclical process. Subjects in this study were students of mathematics teacher education of STKIP Garut, consisted of three classes. The instruments developed were documentation study, interview guides for students, mathematical thinking ability tests and questionnaires to measure the student’s character. Based on the results achieved, it can be concluded: (1) There were a potential and opportunities that exist in the field to develop the components of CAI-Contextual, (2) CAI-Contextual potentials to improve students’ mathematical thinking and characters, and (3) Students’ mathematical thinking and characters increases on the average and the students have a good character.
