Abstract

This research was motivated by the difference in perceptions among GBIS officials of the Central Java Regional Council about the Covid-19 pandemic. This difference has implications for ecclesiastical service. The research problem in this research is what is the perception of the Central Java Regional Council GBIS officials about the Covid-19 pandemic and its implications for ecclesiastical services? Meanwhile, the purpose of this study is to explain the perceptions of the Central Java Regional Council GBIS officials about the Covid-19 pandemic and its implications for ecclesiastical services. From the research, it was concluded that the perceptions of the Central Java Regional Council GBIS officials regarding the Covid-19 pandemic were good and adequate. The implication is in ecclesiastical services, GBIS officials in the midst of this pandemic, continue to emphasize that hospitality as a pastor must be carried out wisely and correctly so as not to exacerbate Covid-19 transmission without having to lose the human side which of course still requires love and hospitality.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya perbedaan persepsi di kalangan para pejabat GBIS Majelis Daerah Jawa Tengah tentang pandemi Covid-19. Perbedaan tersebut berimplikasi bagi pelayanan gerejawi. Problem research dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah persepsi para pejabat GBIS Majelis Daerah Jawa Tengah tentang pandemi Covid-19 dan implikasinya bagi pelayanan gerejawi? Sedangkan tujuan penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan persepsi para pejabat GBIS Majelis Daerah Jawa Tengah tentang pandemik Covid-19 dan implikasinya bagi pelayanan gerejawi. Dari penelitian tesrebut ditarik kesimpulan bahwa persepsi para pejabat GBIS Majelis Daerah Jawa Tengah berkenaan dengan pandemi covid-19 caik dan memadai. Implikasinya dalam pelayanan gerejawi, para pejabat GBIS di tengah masa pandemi ini, tetap mengetrapkan hospitalitas sebagai gembala sidang harus dilakukan dengan bijak dan benar agar tidak memerparah penularan Covid-19 tanpa harus menghilangkan sisi kemanusiaan yang tentunya tetap membutuhkan kasih dan keramahtamahan.

Abstract

This study aims to apply Paul's entrepreneurial characteristics as a form of Social Entrepreneurship for Christian entrepreneurs today. Researchers find that there is still little study of this matter so more in-depth research is needed. In addition, the existing studies generally only examine the extent of entrepreneurship. The authors used the research library and rhetorical criticism methods in this study to solve existing problems. The research problem that has been solved is applying Paul's entrepreneurial characteristics as a form of Social Entrepreneurship for Christian entrepreneurs today. The results of this study indicate that Christian entrepreneurs are social entrepreneurs who are required to be innovative, creative, brilliant in reading opportunities, helpful, and actively involved in social transformation, such as Paul's entrepreneurial characteristics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find several forms of transformative diaconal services that can be carried out by the church as a bridge for church planting missions to poor people in Indonesia. The author uses a library research method in answering this research problem. The research problem that must be answered by the author is about what forms of transformative diaconia that can be carried out by the church as a bridge for the mission of church planting to poor people in Indonesia. Through this study, the authors found three forms of transformational diaconia, namely: First, providing transformative theological education for the congregation about the true concept of poverty, effective church planting mission services, and presenting God's Shalom in real terms. Second, improving the welfare of the congregation and the community around the church through economic empowerment and improving the quality of education. Third, animate Jurgen Habermas' concept of communicative rationality in the Church. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menemukan beberapa bentuk pelayanan diakonia transformatif yang dapat dilakukan oleh gereja sebagai jembatan misi perintisan jemaat kepada orang-orang miskin di Indonesia. Penulis menggunakan metode kajian literatur  dalam menjawab masalah penelitian ini. Adapun masalah penelitian yang harus dijawab oleh penulis adalah tentang apa sajakah bentuk-bentuk diakonia transformatif yang dapat dilakukan oleh gereja sebagai jembatan misi perintisan jemaat kepada orang-orang miskin di Indonesia. Melalui penelitian ini penulis menemukan tiga bentuk diakonia transformasif tersebut yaitu Pertama, menyelenggarakan pendidikan teologis yang transformatif bagi jemaat tentang konsep kemiskinan yang benar, pelayanan misi perintisan jemaat yang efektif, serta menghadirkan Shalom Tuhan secara nyata. Kedua, meningkatkan kesejahteraan jemaat dan masyarakat di sekitar gereja melalui pemberdayaan ekonomi dan perbaikan mutu pendidikan. Ketiga, menghidupkan konsep rasionalitas komunikatif Jurgen Habermas di dalam Gereja.
