Abstract

Bamboo handicrafts in Sumbermujur Village use bamboo waste, but the quality of this handicraft product is quite good. The problem that arises is when there is a lot of production but it is difficult to access marketing, plus there is no capital assistance, so bamboo craftsmen need to be empowered. This research was conducted from January 5, 2021 to February 5, 2021. The purpose of this study was to empower bamboo craftsmen in Sumbermujur village, the inhibiting factors and efforts to overcome the inhibiting factors. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Technical analysis of data is carried out through Human Development, Business Development, Environmental Development and Institutional Development. The results show that of the four development programs, three of them are good, namely human development, environmental development and institutional development. While business development still needs to be improved, this is because the quality of products from bamboo craftsmen in Sumbermujur Village must compete with other bamboo craftsmen's products that already have a market share. The recommendation of this research is the need for government facilitation through the Department of Tourism and Culture to find work partners to be able to access market share. In addition, the agency must provide capital facilitation in the form of soft loans. Keywords: bamboo craftsmen, community empowerment, tourism village

Abstract

Dalum Village is one of the villages in the Talaud Islands Regency with its residents mostly living as fishermen, however, fishermen in Dalum Village are fishermen who are not fully empowered or have not been developed even though the government through the Fisheries Service of the Talaud Islands Regency has empowered fishermen groups in Dalum Village through the Integrated Marine and Fisheries Center Program. This study aims to describe and analyze the empowerment of fishermen groups through the Integrated Marine and Fisheries Center Program, inhibiting factors and supporting factors for the implementation of empowerment and efforts made in overcoming inhibiting factors. The design of this study is descriptive qualitative with an inductive approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observations and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out by data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the Empowerment of Fishermen Groups through the Integrated Marine and Fisheries Center Program in Dalum Village, Salibabu District, Talaud Islands Regency, Fishermen Group Study at the Teluk Lawasan Indah Cooperative conducted by the Fisheries Service of the Talaud Islands Regency was carried out with four indicators, namely human development, business development, environmental development and institutional development. Through these four indicators, the empowerment process has been running, but there are still many shortcomings that are obstacles in the implementation of empowerment such as: the low level of education of fishermen groups related to the technology used, the facilities and infrastructure used by fishermen groups are still simple, the dependence of fishermen groups on assistance provided by the government, and the lack of sufficient availability of electricity in the Island Regency area Talaud. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pemberdayaan kelompok budidaya ikan patin, untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat, serta upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi faktor penghambat tersebut. Desa Bapeang merupakan pusat kawasan pengembangan budidaya ikan patin yang ada di Kabupaten Kotawaringin Timur. Banyaknya kolam-kolam tanah yang ada dari hasil penggalian tanah untuk pembuatan batu bata, memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan dan dimanfaatkan dalam bidang perikanan guna meningkatkan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Tetapi potensi perikanan yang dimiliki belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan induktif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Kemudian teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui mereduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa upaya yang dilakukan oleh Dinas Perikanan Kabupaten Kotawaringin dilaksanakan dengan empat indikator yaitu bina manusia, bina usaha, bina lingkungan dan bina kelembagaan. Namun dalam pelaksanaan terkait pemberdayaan belum berjalan secara maksimal, hal ini karena terdapat faktor penghambat dalam pelaksanaan pemberdayaan antara lain kurangnya partisipasi aktif anggota kelompok, kurangnya keahlian tentang budidaya ikan patin, masalah curah hujan yang tinggi, banyaknya hama dan penyakit, ketergantungan dengan pakan pabrik, serta kurangnya permodalan. Abstract

Industri kecil kerajinan rotan menjadi salah satu sektor industri yang memiliki peran penting dalam pengembangan perekonomian di Kabupaten Jepara, terutama Desa Teluk Wetan yang merupakan kawasan sentra industri kecil kerajinan rotan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan pemberdayaan, faktor penghambat serta upaya untuk mengatasi hambatan pada pemberdayaan industri kecil kerajinan rotan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan industri kecil kerajinan rotan di Desa Teluk Wetan berdasarkan empat dimensi yang terdiri dari bina manusia, bina usaha, bina lingkungan dan bina kelembagaan telah dilaksanakan oleh Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Kabupaten Jepara melalui pembinaan secara langsung dengan memberikan pelatihan, bimbingan teknis, sosialisasi dan monitoring untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan serta memberikan modal usaha berupa peralatan produksi dan bantuan dalam promosi. Adapun faktor penghambat pemberdayaan industri kecil kerajinan rotan di Desa Teluk Wetan yaitu minimnya tenaga kerja yang terlatih, kurangnya pengembangan sarana prasarana dan keterbatasan dalam promosi. Upaya pada pemberdayaan industri kecil kerajinan rotan di Desa Teluk Wetan yaitu dengan meningkatkan kegiatan pelatihan kepada tenaga kerja, meningkatkan sarana dan prasarana serta memberikan bantuan promosi kepada industri kecil kerajinan rotan. Abstract

Actually in the past, rural people of West Java had in-depth local knowledge on various species of birds. Nowadays, the local people's knowledge on the bird species is being eroded due to the erosion of the local language and the bird population decreasing in the village ecosystem. The purpose of this study was to elucidate the knowledge of bird species, and the socio-economic, cultural, and ecological functions, and various disturbances to bird populations. The research was conducted in Bojongsalam and Sukaresmi Village, Rongga Sib-District, West Bandung, Cisokan Watershed, West Java. The method used in this study was a qualitative method, some techniques, including observation, participatory observation, and deep interview with informants were employed in this study to collect the primary data. The results showed that based on the local knowledge of the rural people, 74 species of birds were documented. The birds are classified by rural people based on body size, body feather color, type of habitat, and bird behavior. Bird species have an important role for socio-economic, cultural and ecological functions. Disturbance to bird populations, among others, due to the construction of the Cisokan hydropower project.

Abstract

The economic sector is one of the vital sectors of society that has been negatively affected by the outbreak of the Covid-19 Pandemic. In the economic sector, economic digitalization is one solution that can be applied. The form of economic digitalization that can be done to support the National Economic Recovery Program is the digitalization of SME products and the implementation of financial technology. This study aims to know, analyze, and describe efforts to revitalize the community's economy through digitalization of SME products and financial technology learning in Bugbug Village, Karangasem District, Karangasem Regency, Bali Province. The implementation of activities goes through two stages, namely the pre-implementation stage and the implementation stage. In the pre-implementation stage, they succeeded in finding samples of SME actors in Bugbug Village through a field survey process, namely B-Oxy Oxygen Mineral Water and the Es Cendol Cincau Komang Ariawan business. At the implementation stage, the sample of SME owners taken by researchers was given education to be able to understand and understand how product digitization can be done through social media. However, they are still unable to implement the QRIS payment system introduced by the researchers on the grounds that they are still happier with the cash payment system. To overcome these obstacles, it is recommended that village officials together with local governments can form more community programs oriented towards the introduction of digitalization of SME products and the use of QRIS as part of financial technology that shortens the flow of financial transactions.

Abstract

Masyarakat Desa Puntang Kecamatan Losarang Kabupaten Indramayu sebagian besar bermata pencaharian sebagai petambak ikan lele dumbo (Clarias gariepinus), merupakan ikan air tawar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pemberdayaan petani ikan lele dumbo untuk meningkatkan pendapatan melalui inovasi teknologi digital e-fishery. Metode penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan deskriptif analisis. Informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 17 orang.Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara semi struktur dan wawancara berstruktur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil panen ikan lele dumbo sebelum penerapan e-fishery sebesar 20 – 30 kg, dengan harga jual Rp 15.000,00/kg dan dipanen 3 – 4 bulan sekali dalam 1 tahun. Melalui pemberdayaan yaitu bina manusia, bina usaha, bina kelembagaan dan bina lingkungan dengan inovasi teknologi digital e-fishery, maka hasil panen meningkat menjadi 1 – 3 ton/hari dengan harga jual Rp 18.500,00/kg.Untuk keberanjutan produksi ikan lele dumbo perlu peran serta Pemerintah Kabupaten Indramayu.
