Abstract

Energy is a determining factor in the company's efforts to be superior in the national cement industry competition. If we look at the factor of total production costs COGM (Cost Of Goods Manufactured) in the last five years, the portion of energy costs always occupies the top position with a percentage of 45% - 52% of the total cost of cement production. Therefore, in order to win the competition in the cement industry, it is necessary to manage energy consumption more effectively and efficiently. This study aims to determine the contribution of the implementation energy management system at PT Semen Padang as an effort to reduce energy consumption in the cement production process. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the energy management system at PT Semen Padang has a significant impact on reducing energy consumption and increasing the company's competitive advantage so that it has an impact on increasing the bottom line of PT Semen Padang. Abstract

Referring to the final goal to be achieved by Islamic Economics College (STES) XYZ, from the implementation of the strategy to produce graduates who are knowledgeable, noble, and dedicated, as well as being the center of the development of science, technology and art based on Islamic values, STES XYZ is deemed necessary to work hard to improve the quality that is able to compete with other Islamic economic schools that were established first. So from that by using a qualitative approach this research was made to determine the strengths, weaknesses, and threats and opportunities of STES XYZ with the aim of obtaining the right competitive strategy that can be applied in achieving competitive advantage. The data analysis technique in this study uses 3 stages, first is the input technique with the Internal Factor Evaluating (IFE) Matrix, the External Factor Evaluating (EFE) Matrix, and the Competitive Profile matrix (CPM) matrix. Second, the matching stage in the form of a SWOT Matrix and Internal External Matrix (IE) to produce alternative strategies through the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). In addition, a balanced score card is also applied in this study to measure the quality of indicators. From the analysis obtained, STES XYZ has great potential in business development as in education. On the basis of this writing stage, researchers used the QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) method to recommend a Market Development Strategy to improve school quality in competing with competing schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara keadilan alokasi sumber daya strategis, komitmen manajemen tim ke beberapa pihak, dan strategi perusahaan patungan internasional di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 113 perusahaan patungan internasional. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif antara keadilan alokasi sumber daya strategis dan komitmen tim untuk menerapkan strategi dimana komitmen tim bertindak sebagai mediator. Selain itu, keadilan alokasi sumber daya strategis mempunyai hubungan positif dengan komitmen tim dan strategi tim.Kata kunci: Keadilan Alokasi Sumber Daya Strategis, Komitmen Tim, Komitmen Implementasi Strategi, Perusahaan Patungan Internasional, Indonesia

Abstract

The present study investigates the efficiency of Islamic banks in Indonesia particularly for the period of 2014-2015. To meet that objective, the data envelopment analysis (DEA) particularly input-oriented, variable return to scale (VRS) has been employed. Additionally, twelve full-fledge Islamic commercial banks are included as the sample of the study. Having analysed using the DEA model, we find the average technical efficiency score of Islamic banks in 2014 is 0.843. In this regard, the inefficiency of Islamic banks is attributed equally to pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency. Moreover, the average technical efficiency score of Islamic banks for the year of 2015 is 0.832 which is lower than the previous year. The inefficiency of Islamic banks in 2015 is mainly contributed by the scale inefficiency. Moreover, the results reveal a declining productivity of Islamic banks during the period of study.

Abstract

The beginning of the formation of social responsibility or better known as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the provision of assistance to local organizations and lower-class communities in developing countries from companies operating in the vicinity. This study is intended to analyze the relationship between CSR Implementation on Community Satisfaction and Corporate Image. This research will use quantitative methods. Based on the research objectives, it was made to analyze the Implementation of PT Semen Padang's Social Responsibility based on the Level of Public Satisfaction with the Company's Image in the City of Padang. The number of samples in this study were 130 samples. The results of this study are the implementation of CSR has an effect on the level of community satisfaction. The implementation of CSR has an effect on corporate image, the level of community satisfaction has an effect on corporate image. The implementation of CSR affects the Company's Image through Community Satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of leadership, resource allocation and employee engagement on the effectiveness of strategic implementation with organizational commitment as a mediating variable. The amount of sample is 52 employees with sampling technique is saturated sampling method. This study uses path analysis SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) which is processed with the IBM SPSS AMOS V23 program. The results show that leadership has a direct insignificant effect on organizational commitment, resource allocation has a direct and insignificant effect on organizational commitment, employee engagement has a direct influence on organizational commitment, leadership has a direct influence on the effectiveness of strategy implementation, resource allocation has a direct influence on organizational commitment. not directly significant on the effectiveness of strategy implementation, Employee engagement has a significant direct effect on the effectiveness of strategy implementation, Organizational commitment has a significant direct effect on the effectiveness of strategy implementation, Organizational commitment is unable to mediate the influence of leadership on the effectiveness of strategy implementation, Organizational commitment is unable to mediate the influence of resource allocation power on the effectiveness of strategy implementation, organizational commitment is able to mediate the effect of employee engagement on effectiveness of strategy implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of PT Astra Agro Lestari using the balanced scorecard and strategy map. Researchers use secondary data through the company's annual report and literature review. The results obtained, starting from a growth and learning perspective, have three strategic objectives and KPIs. Then the internal business process perspective has 5 strategic goals and KPIs. From the customer perspective, it has 3 strategic goals and KPIs. From a financial perspective, it also has 3 strategic goals and KPIs. Furthermore, each prepared strategy is visualized through a strategy map.

Abstract

Nowadays, effectiveness strategic implementation has challenged various company due to unpredictable business situation. Therefore, the company should measure how accurate the effectiveness strategy which was implemented. This study aims to analyze the effect of leadership, resource allocation, and employee engagement on it through organizational commitment. Saturated sampling technique used in this study by the amount of 52 employees recorded as participants. Previously, the data were collected through online method and assisted by g-form questionnaires, then it analyzed with Structural Equation Model (SEM) technique from IBM AMOS 23.0 software. The study found that in the direct effects there are three relationships stated not significant, but fourth of them. Further, mediating contributions of organizational commitment only success in the relation of employee engagement on effectiveness strategic implementation, and the other are rejected due to not contributes optimally.

Abstract

Efforts to realize a sustainable palm oil industry from upstream to downstream encourage companies to implement environmental regulations and corporate social responsibility that are carried out by multiple parties in the palm oil industry sector. This study aims to prove the effect of environmental regulation and corporate social responsibility on environmental performance, as well as to provide a mediating effect of corporate social responsibility on the relationship between environmental regulation and environmental performance. Data collection is done through the sustainability report of each company. Based on the results of testing the hypothesis found that environmental regulations have a positive but not significant effect on environmental performance, environmental regulations have a positive and significant effect on corporate social responsibility, corporate social responsibility has a positive and significant effect on environmental performance, and corporate social responsibility mediates the relationship between environmental regulations with environmental performance in oil palm plantation companies in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the business model canvas (BMC) at ready mix concrete company PT. XYZ. This study used purposive sampling, the informants in this study were directors and heads of divisions. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, Forum Group Discussion (FGD) and literature studies. The research phase begins with the Business Model Canvas and SWOT, problem identification, data collection, data analysis, interpretation of results and conclusions. Through the analysis described above, the result is that PT. XYZ has implemented a Business Model Canvas. Results of the SWOT matrix by writing down opportunities and threats on the vertical side and strengths and weaknesses on the horizontal side. Based on the results of the SWOT matrix, there are 13 alternative strategies that PT XYZ can choose from. After conducting a Swot analysis of the business model canvas, then a new business model canvas is formed for the company's business model. The limitations of this study are limited to only using the Business Model Canvas analysis method and SWOT analysis, it is recommended to use the analytical method using QSPM to get better results. The informants in this study only focused on informants who came from internal company PT. XYZ. Suggested further research by adding informants from external parties PT. XYZ company.
