This research is aimed at describing figurative language in simile aspect in the Novel Marmut Merah Jambu by Raditya Dika. This research is qualitative descriptive. The data of this research is primary and secondary data. The primary data is taken directly while secondary data is taken from books, notes, and certain evidence, or published or unpublished archives. The result of the researc identifies that there are 8 quotes of figurative language in simile aspect which is found in the novel Marmut Merah Jambu by Raditya dika.Kata Kunci: analisys, figurative language, novel

The purpose of this research is to describe the analysis result of educational character in affection values which are found in the novel Padang Bulan Karya Andrea Hirata. Pthis research is qualitative descriptive. The primary data is taken from the quotes that has affection values in educational character. The data is collected by using libarary technique and documentation technique which focused on educational character aspects in the novel Padang Bulan by Andrea Hirata. This research is intended to describe the aspect of grateful between human and God (Hablumminallah) which is found in the novel Bidadari Bermata Bening by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. This research is qualitative descriptive. It is used to describe the aspect of grateful of God’s grace in the novel Bidadari Bermata Bening karya by Habiburrahman El Shirazy.Basen on the analysis, it can be seen that there some aspects found, they are: there are 36 quotes of the aspect of grateful of Allah’s blessing. This thing represents how human learns to be grateful with what God has given in their life. Based on the analysis, it can also be concluded that the novel Bidadari Bermata Beningby Habiburrahman El Shirazy contains the religious value which is related with human relationship with God (Hablumminallah) from the perspective of God’s grace to human being. Pattern foster parent is the overall interaction of parents with children, where parents stimulate their children by changing attitudes, behavior, attention, rules, discipline, reward and funismant, knowledge and response to the wishes of his son, as well as the values that are considered appropriate by the parents, so that children can be independent, grow and develop in a healthy and optimal. The role of democratic parenting applied parents make children become people who are willing to accept criticism and respect for others, have high self-confidence and is able to be responsible for their social life. Potential is the basic capabilities of a person who is still hidden and has the possibility to be developed if it is supported by the participation of the environment, exercise and adequate facilities, while there are four kinds of potential possessed by humans, namely, intellectual potential emotionally, spiritually and physically to be able to develop the potential of innovative ideas is needed, therefore i oneself and one's creativity can flourish if it is accompanied by various supporting factors such as family, school, environment and technology. Recognizing the potential of their children is one of the old rang effort in facilitating the development of children There are three models of counseling approaches that can be studied as a support and knowledge for the natural parents guide their children including counseling directive, non-directive counseling and eclectic approach. Abstract : Many factors are often used as a benchmark educational success. One way is to look at the success of the teaching-learning process in achieving its objectives. Another factor that plays an important role at this time is the motivation of the learners in order to prepare himself to initiate a learning process. His relationship with the motivation, it is very often encountered, especially in the scope of the lecture. As there is in fact now a student many reasons to come to the lecture room just to simply fill out the list of attendance or absenteeism. Especially for subjects who according to them are not in line with the course of study they pursue, automatically by themselves they actually underestimate the course. In the course of learning, motivation can be considered as the overall driving force within the students that cause, ensure continuity and provide direction and learning activities, so that the expected objectives can be achieved. Motivation affects the interest in learning a learner because the motivation is the driving force that is in a person to perform certain activities in order to achieve a goal.Keywords: Motivation to Learn

Abstract : Social beings is a predicate attached to humans, the status remains as beings who would not be able to live alone this earth. One is not born in a state able to adapt, physical condition, mentally and emotionally influenced and directed by environmental factors. Adjustment is one important requirement for the creation of psychiatric or mental health of an individual. Perfect adjustment occurs when a human being or an individual is always in a state of balance between itself and its surroundings where there is no longer a need that is not met, and in which all the functions of the organism / individual running normally. In addition to environmental factors, psychological factors, maturity, physical condition, and culture also affect the process of adjustment. Adjustment problems facing children can be derived from the psychological atmosphere of the family as a family rift. Besides problems will arise for the adjustment of children who often move to another place. The school environment also has a great influence on the development of adolescent life. Megemban school besides teaching function is also a function of education. At school, the teacher should be able to be more effective, such as a fair, honest, fun and so on so that students will feel happy and safe with him.Keywords: Problems, Adjustment

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the ethical value of the help of the Hepi character in Son Rantau novel by A. Fuadi. This research includes descriptive research type which is qualitative. Primary data in this research is in the form of written data in the form of sentences, words, and paragraphs in the form of dialogs and monologues contained in Hepi characters in novels Anak Rantau A. Fuadi, while secondary data in this study in the form of books and literature taken from the library where the theories relate to this research. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the value of the helpful ethics contained in the novel Rantau Son of A. Fuadi there are 24 quotations are all reinforced also by exposure to dialogue and monologue. This illustrates this novel put forward that people live in society is needed each other to help each other in order to create prosperity help-help is necessary in living life because human life must be socialized and interdependent with each other Keywords: Value, ethics, novel
