Abstract

ABSTRACT. Ovitrap which has been widely known as a mosquito trap tool has not been widely used by the people of Bali. The introduction of ovitrap to the Batubulan Kangin Village community is the goal of community service activities in order to be able to use cheap, easy, and safe mosquito trap equipment, with the hope that it will be able to increase the rate of larval free. The method used by the Team is to provide counseling and provide training in making ovitraps and placing ovitraps inside and outside the home. The results of community service activities succeeded in increasing public knowledge about the benefits of ovitrap, how to make ovitrap, attractants and how to install it around their homes. The counseling and training activities held in the Batubulan Kangin Village Office Hall, Sukawati District, Gianyar regency attended by 52 people consisting of Puskesmas Staff, Jumantik, Village Health Cadres, and Hamlet Heads. Of the 9 Jumantik who took part in the outreach activities, immediately conducted socialization and invited 71 residents to use Ovitrap in their homes.Besides succeeding in changing the public's knowledge about mosquito eradication techniques, this service also succeeded in increasing the larva free rate from 54.9% to 95.8%.Keywords: ovitrap, attractant, larva free number

Abstract

Community-Based Total Sanitation (STBM) is an approach to change hygiene and sanitation behavior through community empowerment through triggering methods. CTPS is one of the 5 pillars of STBM which focuses on the availability of washing hand facilities (water, soap, hand washing facilities) in the community including schools. This activity needs to be accompanied because it has not been entrenched in the community service location. The purpose of this community Hands and a positive increase in knowledge and behavior after being given counseling about washing hand behavior with soap. Suggestion: So that the school principal and the teachers routinely provide socialization to their students about the importance of washing hands with soap and supervision of the cleanliness of the sink that was built. Assistance, construction of sinks and washing hands with swap service is to increase understanding of elementary school students regarding the behavior of washing hands with soap with a method of assistance with the construction of facilities for washing hands, counseling and screening of films on handwashing with soap. The target of this activity is elementary school students from grade 1 to grade 6 with the implementation time in September 2018 at SD Bantas 3, Selemadeg Timur District in 2018. Results: there is an increase in positive knowledge and behavior about the behavior of washing hands with soap in elementary school children 3 Bantas through assistance. Conclusion: making 2 washing hand places and a positive increase in knowledge.Keywords: Assistance, washtafel build and washing hand with soap

Abstract

The amount of waste will continue to increase along with increasing population growth. The increasing number of people will increase the amount of waste will also increase. Increasing volume of waste from year to year is a strong reason that waste problems are the main problem that must be solved in the short, medium and long term. Waste management according to Law 18 of 2008 is a systematic, comprehensive and sustainable activity that includes reduction and handling of waste. Waste management is carried out by the community including: Waste Management, Domestic Systems, Waste Collection-Systems, Independent and Productive Systems, Waste Savings Systems in Waste Banks. The purpose of this community service is to understand how to carry out community-based independent waste management. To be able to sort waste in their respective households, they want to collect waste that has been sorted into a trash while available. The results of the community service and commitment to always maintain the environment by segregating organic and inorganic waste and collecting inorganic waste shelters before being followed up and sold to collectors.Keywords: Community Based Waste Management.

Abstract

 Abstrack.In maintaining and maintaining the cleanliness of the urban environment especially the cleanliness of the highway, the city government must be supported by optimal resources, including human resources or cleaning workers who are the spearhead in urban cleanliness especially the cleanliness of the highway environment in the 8 research routes. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of knowledge levels, attitudes and actions of use personal protective equipment cleaning staff at the Department of the Environment of Gianyar Regency in 2020. The type of research in this study is an observational research method with a cross sectional analysis approach. The number of samples in this study were 82 janitors. The sample in this study used the Cluster Random Sampling technique because researchers randomized from a large population. Test statistics using Chi Square. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and actions of janitors about the use of personal protective equipment (p=0.019), and there was a relationship between attitudes and actions of janitors about the use of personal protective equipment (p=0.031). The conclusion in this study is that there is a significant relationship between knowledge, attitudes with the use of personal protective equipment cleaning officers in the Environmental Service of Gianyar Regency.

Abstract

Tegal Harum Village is one of the villages in West Denpasar District which has 8 banjars, namely Tegal Sari, Sapta Bumi, Bhuana Mertha, Sanga  Agung, Cemara Agung, Buana Kubu, Sari Buana and Asta Buana. A house is a building that functions as a residence and a means of fostering a family. The number of heads of families residing in Tegal Harum Village is 3,356 households. This study aims to determine the state of residential sanitation in Tegal Harum Village, West Denpasar District in 2022 using the 2002 Ministry of Health questionnaire, from the questionnaire there are 3 aspects of the assessment consisting of the house component, sanitation facilities and occupant behavior by observing and interviewing the head of the family. This study uses a descriptive study because the researcher wants to know theexisting situation. Based on the results of surveys and observations a conducted sample of 68 families. The results of house the do not meet the requirements of 39 houses with a percentage of  57% and meet the requirements of 29 houses with percentage of 43%. Suggestions for residents in the TegalHarum Village environment are expected to pay more attention to the sanitation of their homes.
