Abstract

Food handler is a person who directly manages food and can be an intermediary for the entry of a disease into food. From the training done in the elementary school canteen in South Kuta Subdistrict, traders still found lacking in hygiene, such as not using aprons, hair coverings, and work clothes. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of the level of knowledge of food sanitation hygiene with the behavior of elementary school canteen managers in the District of South Kuta, Badung with a cross sectional approach and data analysis with Spearman correlation statistical analysis techniques. There is a relationship between the level of knowledge of food hygiene sanitation canteen manager with behavior (r of  0.574 and p = 0.000). Then it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge and the behavior of elementary school canteen managers in South Kuta Subdistrict with moderate relationship strength. It is recommended for South Kuta Healt Center elementary schools to carry out routine supervision at least once a month for hygiene food management and canteen  sanitation. Further research is needed that influences behaviors such as attitudes, sanitation facilities, equipment, locations and buildings.

Abstract

Abstract: Dengue hemorrhagic fever is an infectious disease caused by dengue virus and is transmitted by aedes aegypty mosquitoes. Puskesmas Blahbatuh I in 2016 is included in the top 10 cases of Dengue Fever which is 195 cases (Dinkes, 2017). The purpose of this research is to know the level of density of mosquito larvae Aedes aegypty as dengue fever vector in the working area UPT Kesmas Blahbatuh I Year 2018. Type of research used in this research is descriptive research type with cross sectional approach. This research was conducted in working area of UPT Kesmas Blahbatuh I which consists of five villages namely Medahan Village, Keramas Village, Pering Village, Belega Village and Bona Village.Obtained HI value (House of Indeks) : 16 %, CI (Container Indeks): 8 %, BI (Bruteu Indeks): 16 %, ABJ (Larva Free Rate) : 84% and DF (Density Figure ) : 3 as a medium density. The Prevention is do PSN or eradiation of mosquito breeding. The conclution is the area of UPT Kesmas Blahbatuh I has been moderate the mosquito larvae density.

Abstract

Abstract.Garbage is commonly found in public places which become a public health problem because public place is a meeting place of all kinds of society with all kinds of diseases possessed by the society. Trash is also included in the waste. Where waste is all solid and liquid materials are discharges derived from human activities individually as well as the results of other activity activities. This type of research is used by observation (direct observation) by using descriptive method. Sources of waste contained in Bali Zoo come from visitors or from activities or activities carried out at Bali Zoo Wildlife Park. Where from the implementation of the research obtained results that is on the solid waste management (garbage) obtained results meet the requirements while in the liquid waste is said not to qualify. The conclusion of this research is the number of waste management facilities that need to be considered, such as waste bins that do not have a lid and the absence of waste water treatment plant facilities in Bali Zoo.Keywords: waste, sanitation, wildlife park

Abstract

Tegal Harum Village is one of the villages in West Denpasar District which has 8 banjars, namely Tegal Sari, Sapta Bumi, Bhuana Mertha, Sanga  Agung, Cemara Agung, Buana Kubu, Sari Buana and Asta Buana. A house is a building that functions as a residence and a means of fostering a family. The number of heads of families residing in Tegal Harum Village is 3,356 households. This study aims to determine the state of residential sanitation in Tegal Harum Village, West Denpasar District in 2022 using the 2002 Ministry of Health questionnaire, from the questionnaire there are 3 aspects of the assessment consisting of the house component, sanitation facilities and occupant behavior by observing and interviewing the head of the family. This study uses a descriptive study because the researcher wants to know theexisting situation. Based on the results of surveys and observations a conducted sample of 68 families. The results of house the do not meet the requirements of 39 houses with a percentage of  57% and meet the requirements of 29 houses with percentage of 43%. Suggestions for residents in the TegalHarum Village environment are expected to pay more attention to the sanitation of their homes.
