Abstract

Pengelolaan sumber daya manusia adalah merupakan aspek yang sangat penting dalam proses pendidikan secara umum. Oleh karena itu fungsi-fungsi dalam pengelolaan sumber daya manusia harus dilaksanakan secara optimal sehingga kebutuhan yang menyangkut tujuan individu, perusahaan, organisasi ataupun kelembagaan dapat tercapai. Disamping itu dengan prosedur pengelolaan sumber daya manusia yang baik diharapkan kekurangan dan problem yang dihadapi oleh bangsa Indonesia, yaitu yang terkait dengan kemampuan daya saing dapat teratasi. Suatu bukti bahwa bangsa Indonesia masih belum siap untuk bersaing dalam dunia global dapat dilihat dari kemampuan daya saing sumber daya manusianya. Tenaga ahli kita belum cukup memadai untuk bersaing di tingkat global. Dilihat dari pendidikannya, angkatan kerja kita saat ini sungguh memprihatinkan. Sebagian besar angkatan kerja (53%) tidak berpendidikan. Mereka yang berpendidikan dasar sebanyak 34%, berpendidikan menengah 11%, dan yang berpendidikan tinggi (universitas) hanya 2%. Padahal tuntutan dari dunia kerja pada akhir pembangunan pada jangka panjang II nanti mengharuskan angkatan kerja kita berpendidikan. Dari angkatan kerja yang ada hanya 11% saja yang tidak berpendidikan; 52% berpendidikan dasar; 32% berpendidikan menengah; dan 5% dari angkatan kerja harus telah berpendidikan universitas.Kata kunci: Sumber Daya Manusia, Pendidikan.

Abstract

The concept of the integrated education emerges can be regarded as a process to discover the profile of ideal education. Actually, the term focusing on how to form the model of education that combining various aspects of potentials of learners. The aspects involve the cognition, affection, psychomotor, and the combination among the talent" environmental cultures, and social system. According to the author, that the developing learners' creativity can be conducted as well as possible if there is a conducive situation in education institution. In this respect, the creativity will increase if there is a harmony and conducive interaction between individual personal and his/her environment. For that reason, the ideal education process can produce outcomes who have character, Islamic Civilization, and mastering science and technology constitutes collective responsibility of school, family, and society. In brief, the education is a process and human investment how to produce a qualified human resources.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam di Indonesia, tidak dapat dilepaskan dari kerangka Sistem Pendidikan NasionaI, karena posisinya sebagai sub-sistem pendidikan nasional. Menurut pengertiannya, pendidikan Islam yang ada di Indonesia dapat dlpahaml dalam dua bentuk. Pertama, pendidikan Islam sebagai proses pembelajaran dan kedua, pendidikan Islam sebagai kelembagaan.

Abstract

Artikel ini mencoba menjelaskan strategi pendidikan nasional dalam menghadapi tantangan-tantangan globalisasi. Globalisasi telah mengubah mindset para pengambil kebijakan di negara-negara maju di kawasan Asia Timur untuk merubah sistem and tata kelola pendidikan mereka melalui desentralisasi, marketisasi dan internasionalisasi untuk meningkatkan daya saing pendidikan mereka. Para pembuat kebijakan di Indonesia harus mereformasi sistem dan tata kelola pendidikan dalam hal regulasi, aturan dan pembiayaan. Ada tiga langkah yang harus diambil untuk mengatasi problem pendidikan nasional: (1) meninjau kembali dan memperbaharui kerangka legal pendidikan nasional yang lama; (2) meningkatkan proses pendidikan yang mampu memperkuat keterampilan mengajar dan pembelajaran para pendidik, dan (3) membangun budaya kewargaan dan mengembangkan kesadaran belajar masyarakat.

Abstract

The limited opportunity for teachers to apply evaluation on akidah akhlak subject in madrasah is one of the reasons this research was conducted. This study aims to determine the implementation of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor evaluation techniques on akidah akhlak subject s for class XI of the Religious Program in MAN 3 Sleman. This research use a qualitative approach; purposive and snowball sampling for determining data sources; observations, interviews, and documentation for collecting data; triangulation of sources, techniques, and time for testing the validity of the data; as well as data reduction, display data and conclusions drawing for analyzing data. The results showed that the techniques used in the evaluation of akidah akhlak subject were: (a) cognitive aspects including: written tests, oral tests, and assignments using multiple choice assessment instruments and descriptions, (b) the affective aspect uses observation techniques using a Likert scale, thrustone, guttman, and interest measurement, and (c) psychomotor aspects include: practical techniques and portfolios.

Abstract

Several factors can affect the learning process, that are teachers, learners, means, tools and media available and environment. Although that influence the success of learning a lot but can not be denied that teacher is the main factor and decisive for the success of the learning process. Teacher or educator professional will be able ensure learning process to be good. However, some facts indicate that many teachers teach and make the learning process as simply “just obligations”, they do not realize that the teacher is a profession who demands professionalism in practice. Therefore the need to model a new approach in coaching teachers, one of them with Lesson Study, namely learning model teachers will be able to be effectively implemented in educational institutions on the condition that there is a shared commitment to strong from the teachers themselves, school principals and the Education Department is supported by involvement of education experts. Lesson Study is not one learning model teaching profession only, therefore, needs to be combined with other models.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the implementation of strategic management on competitive advantage in Islamic University of Indonesia (UII) Yogyakarta. There are two purposes in writing this article; firstly, to explain how the management of UII understands the concept of strategic management, and secondly, to seek for supporting factors which influence the implementation of strategic management on competitive advantage in UII. It is a qualitative research with case study approach. The respondents of this study are top management in UII like the Endowment Board Foundation as shareholders and UII's top management like rector and deans.
