Abstract

Al-Qur'an as a source of knowledge and life, therefore it is needed a method in exploring the treasure of knowledge which are contained inside it, not only the method needed. Since the vastness of interpretation study, so, many kinds of scientific approaches have been used to understand it. This writing is a part of research in order to explore many styles of interpretation since classical period to contemporary, which were compiled and formulated by the scholars, the writer sees the importance of detecting how far is that formulation can be used and developed in the al-Qur'an studies. Until now, interpreter scholars will continue to develop various fields of science in order to approach the Qur'an, until the virtues of al-Qur'an can be obtained and used as good as possible. These interpretation styles use the bi al-ra'yi interpretation form, which has always been a clash among the scholars in determining the position of these styles, some accept and some reject. It is also found in this article that every scholars has differences in concluding the number of interpretation styles from classical period until modern, those differences are because of the time and object that is being researched, at least, the writer finds some styles of interpretation, such as fikih interpretation style, sufi interpretation style, philosophy, madzhab interpretation style, language literature interpretation style, iImi interpretation style, ilhadi interpretation style, adabi Ijtima’i interpretation style, haraki interpretation style. Keywords: Style, Interpretation, Clasic, Modern Al-Qur’an sebagai sumber ilmu dan kehidupan, olehnya itu dibutuhkan metode dalam menggali khazanah keilmuan yang terkandung didalamnya, tidak hanya metode yang dibutuhkan. Karena betapa luasnya kajian penafsiran sehingga berbagai pendekatan ilmu digunakan untuk memahaminya. Tulisan ini merupakan bagian dari penelitian dalam rangka menggali berbagai corak-corak penafsiran sejak zaman klasik hingga kontemporer, yang disusun dan dirumuskan oleh para Ulama, penulis melihat pentingnya mendeteksi sejauhmana rumusan tersebut dapat digunakan dan dikembangkan dalam kajian al- Qur’an. Sampai saat ini ulama tafsir akan terus mengembangkan berbagai bidang keilmuan dalam rangka mendekati al-Qur’an, hingga mutiara-mutiara al-Qur’an dapat diperoleh dan digunakan sebaik mungkin. corak-corak penafsiran tersebut menggunakan bentuk penafsiran bi al-ra’yi, yang sejak dulu terjadi pertentangan ulama dalam menentukan kedudukan dari corak-corak tersebut, ada yang menerima dan ada pula yang menolak. Pada artikel ini juga ditemukan bahwa setiap ulama berbeda dalam menyimpulkan jumlah corak-corak tafsir dari klasik hingga modern, perbedaan tersebut disebabkan karena masa dan objek yang sedang diteliti, setidaknya penelis menemukan beberapa corak tafsir diantaranya, corak tafsir fikih, corak tafsir Sufi, Filsafat, corak tafsir mazhab, corak tafsir sastra bahasa, corak tafsir Ilmi, corak tafsir ilhadi, corak tafsir Adabi Ijtimā’i, corak tafsir akhlaqy, corak tafsir haraki. Abstract

This research aims to reveal the students’ understanding about niqab, to scrutinize other university members’ response, students’ who wear niqab resistance at  Islamic University in Kendari. This research uses qualitative descriptive method by phenomenon and living Quran approach to know students’ insight of niqob. The data collection uses documentation, interview and observation. Data analysis uses data reduction, validation and taking conclusion using textual and contextual comprehension. The results show that: (1) 80% respondent students of IAIN Kendari who are wearing niqob know the dalil is from Q.S. Al Ahzab : 59 and Q.S. Annur : 31, nevertheless they did not understand the dalil deeply. 2 students consider that it is compulsory, and 8 students consider it as sunnah or optional. (2) university communities’ response to students’ who wear niqob, are first, it is allowed by some requirement; second, it is not permitted if resulting social anxiety, third, the students’ attitude to be more exclusive and introvert; forth, other community feel uncomfortable in communication; and fifth there should be specific regulation for niqob  wearer, (3) There are 4 types of students’ resistance, they are, opened resistance (social media exposing), alternative resistance (wearing masker), closed resistance (optional in wearing niqab, partially covered and uncovered), negotiated resistance (negotiating to rector).

Abstract

Penelitian ini fokus pada kontroversi tentang niqab/cadar yang banyak terjadi di Indonesia, tak terkecuali kampus IAIN Kendari, sejak Rektor IAIN Kendari mengeluarkan aturan Pasal 14 Ayat (10) tentang Kode Etik dan Tata Tertib Mahasiswa IAIN Kendari tentang menggunakan penutup wajah pada proses pembelajaran. Tulisan ini ingin menelaah lebih jauh hukum penggunaan cadar dari sorotan Fiqh. Penulis mendeskripsikan perbedaan pendapat para ulama tentang penggunaan cadar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa dalil yang sama dalam menetapkan hukum cadar, akan tetapi berbeda pada penafsiran dan istinbath hukumnya, Syekh Ali Jum’ah, Mahmud Hamdi Zaqzuq, Yusuf Qardhawi, Nashiruddin Albani diantara ulama yang membolehkan membuka cadar dengan dalil – dalilnya. Ulama yang mewajibkan menggunakan cadar ialah Syekh Ramadhan al – Buthy, Syekh Utsaimin dan Syekh Mustafa al – Maraghy.

Abstract

This study aims to uncover and analyze learning methods, strategies and factors that support and hinder tahfizh and interpretation learning strategies at Pondok Tahfizh Baitul Qur'an al-Askar Kendari and Khalilul Qur'an Kolaka. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research, using the theory of Umar's Al-Qur'an memorization strategy and the interpretation method of 'Abd Hay al-Farmawiy. The results of the study found that Pondok Tahfizh al-Askar Kendari and Pondok Tahfizh Khalilul Qur'an had carried out the steps of learning tahfizh in accordance with the formulation of behaviorism learning theory with the habit of memorizing which was repeated accompanied by a good stimulus and response from students, then using strategies that compiled by S. Nasution namely by identifying the specifications and qualifications of the students, then establishing a learning system, then determining the methods and techniques for learning tahfizh and interpretation, and evaluating learning. As for the tahfizh method based on the formulation of Umar's tahfizh method, there were differences in methods between the two huts, the tahfizh hut of Baitul Qur'an al-Askar uses three tahfizh methods, namely the Tariqah Wahidah, Muraja'ah and talqin teachings, while the Tahfizh Khalilul Qur'an hut Kolaka uses four methods, namely the Wahidah, Muraja'ah, Talqin, and sima'an methods. As for the interpretation of Pondok Tahfizh Baitul Qur'an al-Askar, it uses ijmaliy (global) interpretation and questions and answers in accordance with the division of interpretation according to 'Abd Hay al-farmawiy who is guided by an Ustadz, by explaining verse by verse according to systematics, then explanation of the general meaning, then a brief mufradat meaning, an analysis of the Arabic language rules and the general meaning of the verse. Whereas Pondok Tahfizh Khalilul Qur'an uses the question and answer method via online, and is not in accordance with the ijmaliy step. As for the supporting and inhibiting factors, there are two, namely internal and external, internal about the ability of students and murabbi/murabbiyah teachers, as well as existing facilities, while from external factors in the family environment, both mothers and colleagues. This finding has implications for contributing to the development of Al-Qur'am memorization and interpretation learning strategies, and can direct other researchers to conduct more comprehensive studies, especially regarding various problems of students in the process of learning tahfidh and interpretation as well as developing aspects of the Islamic boarding school model.
