Abstract

This study aims to look at the effect and interactions that occur between teaching materials by wingeom and early mathematics abilities on student’ mathematical understanding skills. This type of research is quasi-experimental researh. The population in this study were students class VIII of MTsN Danau Kerinci which numberrer 5  classes. The sample was selected using simple random sampling techniques, there was class VIIIA as the experimental class and class VIIIB as the control class. The research design used was the posttest only control group design. During the research, the experimental class was treated with learning  by wingeom teaching material, while the control class was treated with conventional learning. The technique of collecting data through a test of mathematical understanding skills was anilyzed using two-way ANOVA. The result are (1) there is a difference between students’ mathematical understanding ability base on the teaching materials, Fcount=4,982 > Fα=4,12   (2) there isa difference between students’ mathematical understanding ability viewed from early mathematics ability (high, medium, an low categories),  Fhitung=29,315 > Fα=3,27 (3) an interaction between the teaching materials and the student categories with early mathematics ability, Fhitung=-0,4 < Fα=3,27Keywords : Mathematical Understanding Ability, Teaching materials by wingeom, Early Mathematics Ability

Abstract

Kompetisi sains madrasah (KSM) merupakan salah satu ajang kompetisi dalam bidang sains yang diselenggarakan oleh Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia sebagai wadah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan intelektual, emosional, kreativitas serta prestasi siswa yang telah dirintis sejak tahun 2012. Pola materi KSM yang akan diujikan dalam kompetisi merupakan soal dengan tingkat kesulitan tinggi, dengan demikian diperlukan pendampingan dalam persiapan siswa mengikuti kompetisi sains madrasah ini. Pembinaan KSM dilaksanakan di MIS No 04/E.72 Koto Baru yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan analisis matematika siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal KSM terintegrasi. Pembinaan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode drill yang terdiri dari tahap persiapan dan pelaksanaan. Pada setiap tahapan pelakasanaan dilakukan evaluasi berupa tryout pengerjaan soal KSM. Hasil tryout menunjukan peningkatan kemampuan siswa yang signifikan dalam menyelesaikan soal KSM terintegrasi.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to develop multimedia teaching materials based on PBL using 3D Professional Pageflip on geometry material, and determine the effectiveness of PBL-based multimedia teaching materials using 3D Professional Pageflip on geometry material. This research is a development research with the research process using the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.Validation was carried out by material experts and media experts with individual test subjects, namely 2 mathematics teachers, small group trial subjects consisted of 6 students, and large group trials namely students of XIPA2 class of SMAN 5 Jambi City. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires for evaluating material experts and media experts, teacher and student responses questionnaires, student perception questionnaires and student learning outcomes tests.From the results of the post-test analysis conducted at the end of the learning activities obtained 90.32% of the students achieved the minimum completeness criteria, the results of the analysis of the student perception questionnaire showed the category of "very positive" besides based on observations of students' attitudes during the learning process positive and high enthusiasm in participating in learning activities. This means that multimedia teaching materials that are made effective are used for the learning process. Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa LKPD berbasis problem solving pada materi lingkaran yang efektif dan praktis. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah ADDIE yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Subjek pada penelitian ini  adalah 30 peserta didik kelas VIII di SMPN 1 Sungai Penuh. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur aspek kevalidan LKPD ini adalah lembar validasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media. Untuk mengukur kepraktisan LKPD ini adalah Angket respon peserta didik. Untuk mengukur aspek keefektifan LKPD ini menggunakan hasil tes belajar peserta didik yang terdiri dari 5 soal. Kevalidan LKPD dinilai dari penilaian para ahli dengan skor maksimal 100 untuk setiap pernyataan oleh validator ahli media dan ahli materi, LKPD ini diberikan nilai 87 dan dikategorikan sangat valid, sehingga LKPD dapat diujicobakan. Kepraktisan LKPD berdasarkan angket respon peserta didik dengan skor maksimal 100 untuk setiap pernyataan, rata rata skor yang diperoleh dari respon peserta didik adalah 76,7 dan dikategorikan praktis. Keefektifan LKPD yang dikembangkan ditinjau dari tes hasil belajar peserta didik dengan memberikan 5 soal kepada peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 1 Sungai Penuh diperoleh persentase ketuntasan sebesar 70% dan dikategorikan efektif. Kata Kunci: LKPD, problem solving, lingkaran.   Abstract This development research aims to produce a product in the form of problem solving worksheets based on effective and practical circle material. The development model used is ADDIE, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects in this study were 30 students of class VIII at SMPN 1 Sungai Penuh. The instrument used to measure the validity aspect of this LKPD is a validation sheet by material experts and media experts. To measure the practicality of this LKPD is a student response questionnaire. To measure the effectiveness of this LKPD, the results of the student learning test consist of 5 questions. The validity of the LKPD is assessed from the assessment of experts with a maximum score of 100 for each statement by the validator of media experts and material experts, this LKPD is given a score of 87 and is categorized as very valid, so that the LKPD can be tested. The practicality of the LKPD is based on a student response questionnaire with a maximum score of 100 for each statement, the average score obtained from student responses is 76.7 and is categorized as practical. The effectiveness of the developed LKPD in terms of student learning outcomes tests by giving 5 questions to class VIII students of SMPN 1 Sungai Penuh obtained a completeness percentage of 70% and is categorized as effective. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (define, design, develop, dan diseminasi) untuk menyusun Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis graphmatica pada materi fungsi kuadrat. Penggunaan graphmatica bermaksud untuk membantu proses pembelajaran ilustrasi grafis pada materi fungsi kuadrat. Subyek penelitian adalah guru matematika dan peserta didik kelas X SMA. Lembar validasi dari ahli media dan ahli materi, angket respon guru dan peserta didik, angket observasi peserta didik dan lembar observasi digunakan sebagai alat penelitian. Hasil validasi LKPD oleh validator media menunjukkan kategori baik dan validator materi dengan kategori sangat baik sehingga LKPD layak untuk diujicobakan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian bahwa rata-rata persentase persepsi peserta didik terhadap hasil angket adalah 91,18%, artinya LKPD berbasis graphmatica pada materi fungsi kuadrat efektif untuk digunakan karena memberikan peluang kepada peserta didik untuk membentuk sendiri pengetahuan dan soal-soal yang disusun dapat digunakan untuk tes yang menggunakan TIK pada fungsi kuadrat.
