Abstract

This research was conducted aims to obtain empirical evidence about firm size, inventory turnover, working capital efficiency, and total sales growth that affect the profitability of companies in the manufacture companies that listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange 2017 to 2019. Samples was selecting using purposive sampling method and the valid data was 241 data. Data processing techniques using multiple regression analysis what helped by SPSS program (Statistical Product and Service Solution) for windows released 24 and Microsoft Excel 2007. 7The result of this study inidicate that the firm size and total sales growth have a positive significant effect on profitability, working capital efficiency have a negative significant effect on profitability, inventory turnover does not have a significant effect on the profitability. The implication of this study is the need to increase total sales, inventory, firm size and working capital toincrease profitability which will bring a good signal for investor.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the extent of the influence of dividend policy, profitability, leverage, institutional ownership and firm size on firm value ofmanufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the period of 2017-2019. Purposive sampling method is used in this method with total data 50 companies and 150 samples. This study using multiple regression analysis which isprocessed with SPSS 22 program and Microsoft Excel 2019. The results of this studyindicate that profitability and firm size have a significant positive effect on firm value. However, dividend policy, leverage, and institutional ownership has no significant effect on firm value. The implication of this study is the need to increase firm’s profitability and size to increasefirm’s value which will attract investor’s interest to invest.

Abstract

The main purpose of this research is to show empirically the effect of profitability, liquidity, sales growth, and asset tangibility on capital structure of manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The population of this study is from the year of 2019-2020 using 114 data consisted of 67 manufacturing companies that were selected using purposie sampling method. This research uses SPSS software version 18 to process the hypothesis. The result of the study showed that profitability, liquidity, andasset tangibility has negative and significant effect on capital structure, however there is no significant effect of sales growth on capital structure.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was analyze and obtain empirical evidence regarding the effect of profitability, liquidity, and tangibility assets on capital structure. This research was conducted using a purposive sampling method with a total sampel of 214 data from manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange with an observation period of 3 years, 2017-2019. This research was conducted using secondary data obtained from the financial statements cintained on the website www.idx.com. The results obtained from the study concluded that the profitability variables has a positif and not significant effect on capital structure, while the liquidity variables and tangibility assets variables have a negatif and significant effect on capital structure.

Abstract

The results obtained from the study concluded that the profitability variable has a positiveand insignificant effect on dividend policy, leverage has a negative and insignificant effect on dividend policy, liquidity has a positive and insignificant effect on dividend policy and firm size has a positive and significant effect on dividend policy.

Abstract

The topic of corporate governance became the focus of research, discussions, seminars and recent regulatory reforms following a wave of failures in implementing the governance of multinational companies in various countries. In Indonesia, PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk is a public company that has failed in implementing a good corporate governance system. The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors causing the failure of corporate governance. The research method uses a single case study. The research subject was PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk during the period 2018-2019. The results showed that the failure of the implementation of the corporate governance system at PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk was caused by the crisis of ethical leadership in almost all the highest ranks of the company. This study reinforces the findings of the latest researchers who revealed the absence of ethical leadership as a cause of failure in implementing corporate governance in various companies and emphasized the important role of ethical leadership in a business entity or organization.   Keywords: ethical leadership, corporate governance, case studies

Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence on whether there are significant differences in the liquidity ratio (current ratio), leverage ratio (debt to equity ratio), profitability ratio (return on assets), and market ratio (price to earnings ratio) before and during COVID-19 pandemic. The data analysis used to perform the different tests in this study was the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. The final sample used in this study was 94 publicly traded manufacturing companies for the 2019-2020 period bypurposive sampling. The result of the analyzed data shows significant differences in probability ratio (return on assets) and market ratio (price to earnings ratio) before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. On the contrary, the results of this study indicate that there are no significant differences in the liquidity ratio (current ratio) and leverage ratio (debt to equity ratio) before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of dividend policy, Leverage, and Firm Size on stock price volatility. The research method used was purposive sampling with a total sample of 18 companies listed on the LQ-45 index listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This research was conducted using secondary data on observations in 2018-2020. Data processing in this research using Microsoft Office 365 software and IBM SPSS Statistics V25.0. The results showed that Dividend Yield, Dividend Payout Ratio and Firm Size did not have a significant effect on Stock Price Volatility, while Leverage had a significant and negative effect on Stock Price Volatility. The implication of this research is the need to know what are the factors that can affect the stock price volatility which will give a good or bad signal to investors in carrying out their investment activities.
