Abstract

The hospitality industry is the part of the tourism industry which is the 4th highest devisa contributor of Indonesia. Bali nicknamed as the Island of Gods is one of the most favorite destination with stable and increasing number of visitors each year. One of the most important part of a hotel is its’ human resources and as the heart of the hotel, the performance of the room division staffs can be used as a benchmark of the hotel’s success. Performance improvement can be done with training and development. This research intended to measure the impact of training and development as indepent variables toward staffs’ performance as the dependent variable in room division of Hotel Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali. This research used descriptive quantitative method and correlational analysis. The sample in this research was 66 staffs from both the Front Office and Housekeeping determined with Slovin formula. Using the measurement of determinant coefficient, it was discovered that training and development influence the performance by 53,9% while the rest was influenced by other variables outside this research. From the result of this research, it may be concluded that training and development influenced the room division staffs performance positively, whether partially and simultaneously.

Abstract

Museum Teknologi dan Energi Terbarukan di Jakarta Utara adalah sebuah tempat edukatif rekreatif yang kontekstual bagi anak-anak sekolah untuk mempelajari mengenai pentingnya pemanfaatan energi terbarukan untuk masa yang akan datang. Masalah desain utama museum adalah untuk menampilkan berbagai inovasi energi terbarukan secara aktif dan interaktif bagi siswa sehingga museum dapat menjadi sebuah laboratorium pembelajaran terutama dalam pengolahan energi listrik. Masalah ini kemudian diselesaikan dengan pendekatan sistem sains yang fokus pada pengolahan energi. Keunikan proyek ini adalah pada integrasi elemen sains yang berbeda-beda dalam bangunan sehingga bangunan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan energi listriknya secara mandiri, serta bagaimana adanya interaksi antara wahana museum energi terbarukan dengan siswa hingga akhirnya menciptakan sebuah proses edukasi yang menjelaskan prinsip masing-masing elemen energi terbarukan. Energi terbarukan yang dihadirkan terdiri dari museum energi terbarukan air, museum energi terbarukan matahari, museum energi terbarukan bioenergi, museum energi terbarukan angin dan museum energi terbarukan kinetik. Dilengkapi juga dengan pameran informal sebagai penjelasan latar belakang pentingnya penggunaan energi

Abstract

Profitability, leverage, company size, company age, and board of independent commissioners are used in the research to assess the effect toward the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in a company. The sampling method used is purposive sampling by taking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange mining sector which get a total population of 41 companies and a sample of 16 companies from year 2014-2018. SPPS version 17 is used in research to test multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research are profitability, leverage, company size, company age, and board of independent commissioners simultaneously influence Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) . The partial results of the research that have no effect and are not significant in the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility are profitability, leverage, and board of independent commissioners, while company size and company age have significant effect on the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility.

Abstract

This study aims to research whether board gender diversity, board size and leverage have influences on tax avoidance. This research involves a purposive sampling method and obtains 1660 company data listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) that met the sample criteria for the period 2017-2021. The results showed that tax avoidance in Indonesia do not influence board size, board gender diversity and leverage.

Abstract

Dalam perusahaan yang berskala besar, pengawasan dan kegiatan operasional yang dijalankan akan menjadi lebih rumit. Hal ini disebabkan oleh luasnya ruang lingkup yang dimiliki perusahaaan, sehingga memerlukan upaya yang lebih besar untuk memantau setiap departemen dan menjalin komunikasi antar departemen yang efektif. Oleh sebab itu, perusahaan perlu mengimplementasikan sebuah sistem yang mampu menyatukan internal perusahaan ke dalam suatu perangkat lunak yang dapat diakses dengan mudah serta dapat memberikan data secara real-time. PT Maju Bersama Jaya merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang berlokasi di Batam yang menggunakan sistem ERP Accurate dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan perusahaannya. Metode yang penulis gunakan dalam memperoleh informasi untuk penelitian ini adalah dengan melakukan wawancara kepada narasumber, serta juga melakukan observasi langsung di lokasi. Pada penelitian ini, penulis akan membahas mengenai implementasi sistem ERP yang terdapat di PT Maju Bersama Jaya. Kata Kunci: Perusahaan, Sistem ERP, Accurate
