Abstract

Public interest in climbing activities is increasing over time. This activity is a dangerous activity if it is not equipped with good climbing knowledge. There are many cases of climbers who are dissapear or lost on the mountain, one reason is the lack of information about the path and terrain of the climb that will be traversed. This can be avoided if the climbers have good communication and coordination. So that climbers who have lost their way can get back on the right track thanks to good communication and coordination. This research proposes to build a communication tool that uses radio signals to communicate and has a GPS (Global Positioning System). Later climbers can communicate and see other climbers who have this tool through a browser that is owned by their smartphone.

Abstract

The development of existing technology, of course, by making technological innovations in the form of tools that can help farmers in protecting their fields from pests. This tool works automatically by using a motion sensor combined with a scarecrow which will produce Movement output for the scarecrow, with the hope of scaring off pests, especially birds, as well as farmers who use Traditional. With the aim of creating a tool that works automatically to repel pests efficiently and effectively. Because it will combine traditional and modern methods. The application of mouse and bird repellents to rice plants based on solar energy.

Abstract

Rapid technological advances affect the workings of individuals, organizations and companies. Komisi Disiplin dan Kemahasiswaan (Komdisma) SV IPB is a team of lecturers whose job is to monitor student discipline. In order to carry out its duties, Komdisma received reports of violations committed by students. However, the process of reporting student violations is still manual using books and paper, resulting in incompatible data, duplicate data, and the time to search and recap data. For this reason, a computerized information system is needed that supports the business process of reporting student violations so that business processes can run more efficiently. The purpose of making this web-based information system is to provide convenience and assist Komdisma in recording student violations so that the violation reporting process takes a relatively short time and produces reliable data.

Abstract

The Discipline and Student Affairs Commission of SV IPB (KOMDISMA-SVIPB) is a unit that handles disciplinary and student affairs issues of SV IPB students. KOMDISMA-SVIPB provides services related to discipline and student affairs for students such as good behavior letters, komdisma free letters, and matters related to student organizations and student associations at SV IPB. KOMDISMA-SVIPB has a duty to provide komdisma free letters to final year students. In order to facilitate the task of KOMDISMA-SVIPB in giving free letters to final year students, a website based system is needed that is easy to use by the user in a predetermined process. The method used in making this komdisma free letter system is the Scrum methodology. The stages contained in the Scrum methodology are Pregame, Game, and Postgame. The result of this system is a komdisma free letter that has been signed by the chairman of KOMDISMA-SVIPB and can be downloaded by students from the system that has been created.

Abstract

In order to implement IoT in agriculture, a tool was designed that aims to facilitate the picking process of melons on hydroponic plantations using Blynk Software and ESP8266 components. Melon fruit picker tool is designed in the form of a robot that can be controlled via Smartphone. There is a DC motor which functions to move the position of the robot and cut melon fruit stalks. Sorting feature is also added to separate the fruit has been picked into the storage container based on the weight of the fruit. To make it easier for users to control this robot, an ESP32CAM component is added as a camera that can be accessed via Smartphones in real time.

Abstract

Innovation and technology have brought benefits in everyday life that have an impact on all aspects of people's lives, including how to obtain and convey information. Multimedia is one of the media for delivering information that is often used today. This time the author focuses on the SilviPlus application which is a Point of Sale application designed according to the needs of MSMEs. T he SilviPlus application strongly supports MSME business players in Indonesia to carry out digital transformation in terms of sales and bookkeeping transactions, so that changes will be faster from cash transactions to cashless transactions. This study aims to provide education about the SilviPlus application to business users so that they can understand the use of the application easily. The results of this study are 6 video motion graphic products made with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects. After testing the product, it was found that 77% stated "very good" for the products produced, as many as 22% said "good", while the other 1% stated "enough" for the products produced.
