Abstract

 the purpose of this research is to description the implementation of peer tutors learning strategies in learning disabilities at elementary school Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. Type of this research is a descriptive qualitative study using instruments of observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis techniques using model Milles and Huberman, namely by means of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results showed that condotioning is done by way of providing clarification of classical learning material, repetition, approach, group, as well as doing the game. Academic development is a further development and understanding. Supporting factors is to help teachers in teh learning process, interaction relationships become better, between teacher and students, ora students with students, students in following the spirit of learning more, dare ask  until the creation of a conducive learning atmosphere. Inhibiting factor were the difficulty of determining the tutor, tutor’s lack of preparation, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, as well as seriousness in studying less.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the increase of learning interaction in thematic learning in grade 2 students of SDN Sampangan through the Numbered Head Together learning model. This type of research is classroom action research. Data collection techniques use observation, tests, and documentation. This research was carried out at SD Sampangan in Bantul Regency. The time of this study was held in July 2018 to September 2018. The research subjects were grade 2 odd semester 2018/2019 academic year. The object of research is the interaction of student learning in thematic learning. Data analysis techniques used both quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The results showed that the learning interaction of students in Thematic Learning through Numbered Head Together learning models in SDN Sampangan Bantul had increased. Increases occur in student learning interactions that are carried out in two cycles with 3 meetings each. This study obtained the results that the interaction of student learning with students using NHT has increased with the average data acquisition of pre-action of 65 increased 70 in cycle I and increased again to 80 in cycle II. While the teacher and student interaction also increased with the average acquisition in pre-action of 68 increased by 70 in Circular 1 and increased again in cycle 2 by 85. Based on the results of the percentage of completeness in the second cycle that is equal to 85%, this study was said to be successful because it has reached the indicator of the success of a predetermined action.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the improvement of Javanese literacy skills through audiovisual media in 2 Padokan Bantul State Elementary School. The application of audiovisual media can improve the reading skills of Javanese script in the fifth-grade students of 2 Padokan Bantul State Elementary School. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subject of this research was all the fifth-grade students of 2 Padokan Bantul State Elementary School Academic Year 2018/2019 which amounted to 31 students. Data collection techniques used observation, testing, and documentation techniques. The results of this research indicate that after using audiovisual media, students' reading literacy skills can increase. The increase can be seen from the percentage of the students whose grades reached KKM (75). Before the action was taken, the percentage of the students who reached KKM was still lacking, 32.26%. After the first cycle of action, the percentage of the students who reached KKM increased to 50.84%. At the end of the second cycle, the percentage of the students who reached KKM increased to 80.64%. These results are following the criteria for the success of the prescribed actions, namely ≥75% of the students get scores above the KKM (75).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the character education contained in a children’s story entitled Small So Comrade, Big So Opponent. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative. The object in this study is a children’s story entitled Small So Comrade, Big So Opponent written by Tri Isyanti and Siti Andari. The research data was collected through reading and taking notes techniques. The data analysis in this research is conducted by implementing pragmatic approach. The steps conducted are identifying, reviewing, interpreting, and describing the parts of the children’s story that can be utilized as the form of character education. The results of this research as it is depicted in the children’s story entitled Small So Comrade, Big So Opponent written by Tri Isyanti and Siti Andari portray that there is a character education value in terms of mitigating disaster. The children's storybook is set for 3rd grade of elementary school students who have environmental and social concerns towards flood disaster, just in case someday it strikes their place of being. There are five character educations depicted in the children's story which are environmental caring; social caring; generosity, being helpful and cooperative; respect and courtesy; and curiosity.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses dan dampak pemanfaatan permainan bahasa sebagai media literasi siswa kelas rendah SD Kota Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian menggunakan purposive sampling, yakni siswa kelas rendah di 5 SD Kota Yogyakarta. Instrumen penelitian adalah peneliti sendiri dibantu pedoman wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Prosedur pengumpulan data melalui observasi berperan serta, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data mengunakan teknik analisis yang dikembangkan oleh Moleong. Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan derajat kepercayaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat permainan bahasa yang digunakan guru, diantara Permainan Menjodohkan Gambar dan Kata, Permainan Kata dan Huruf, Permainan Memilih Kalimat, Permainan Melengkapi Kalimat, dan Cerita Berantai. Penggunaan media permainan bahasa dalam mengembangkan literasi mempunyai dampak bagi siswa, yaitu menjadi lebih aktif, percaya diri, semangat, dan termotivasi. AbstractThis study aims to determine the process and the impact of the use of language games as a medium of literacy for elementary school low grade students in Yogyakarta. The type of research is qualitative research. The subjects used purposive sampling, low grade students in 5 elementary schools of Yogyakarta. The research instrument is selfassisted researcher guided interview, observation, and documentation. Data collection procedures through participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques using analytical techniques developed by Moleong. Check the validity of data using degree of trust. The results show there are language games used by teachers, between Games Matching Pictures and Words, Word and Letter Games, Game Sentence Sentences, Games Completing Sentences, and Story Chains. The use of language game media in developing literacy has an impact on students, which is more active, confident, enthusiastic, and motivated.

Abstract

This descriptive study aims to describe the development and feasibility of LKPD based on the teachings of Tamansiswa Tri-N content in Indonesian for class II at SD N Puren. The research method used in this study is the Borg and Gall model development method which has been modified by Hasyim and is only limited to seven research and development steps, namely: 1) potential and problems, 2) data collection, 3) product design, 4) product validation. , 5) product revision, 6) product trial, 7) product revision. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and questionnaires with a set of written statements or questions to respondents to answer. The results of this development research indicate that the LKPD product based on the teachings of Tamansiswa Tri-N Class II Indonesian language content at SD N Puren has been successfully developed. The feasibility of the LKPD product obtained an average feasibility score of 93.3% by material experts and 80% by media experts. Then the results of the questionnaire that was tested in the field to determine the response of the school, namely the second grade teacher obtained an average score of 99.09%. While the test of student response questionnaires obtained an average score of 99.70%. Thus, the development of LKPD products based on the teachings of Tamansiswa Tri-N containing Indonesian class II at SD N Puren has good quality to help students learn.

Abstract

The background of the research is the lack of student interest in problem solving in learning. Thus, students' interest and learning activities tend to be low. The purpose of this research is to use the model problem based learning based on local wisdom to increase students' interest and learning activities. The research method used is the Kemmis and Taggart classroom action research model with action and observation activities carried out at one time. The activity phase consists of planning, implementation, observation, reflection. The results showed that the model problem-based learning based on local wisdom could increase interest and learning activities. Students' learning interest from the initial condition averaged 63 with a percentage of 46.1% increased in the cycle I by an average of 76.5 with a percentage of 77%, and increased in cycle II on average 83 to a percentage of 100%. Student Learning Activity from the cycle I frequency 8 students with a percentage of 61.5% and in cycle II increased to 13 students by a percentage of 100%. Further research is expected to consider learning styles in order to determine the characteristics of each student to design more interesting learning according to student learning styles.

Abstract

This study aims to determine 1) the linguistic form of idioms containing the names of human organs in the Bola tabloid. 2) the types of idioms containing the names of human organs contained in the Bola tabloid. 3) idiom material in elementary Indonesian language learning. This type of research is descriptive. This research is subject to idioms containing the names of human organs contained in the Bola tabloid which was published in January-December 2004. The object of this research is the linguistic form of idioms and the types of idioms containing the names of human organs contained in the Bola tabloid. The research instrument used was the researcher himself. This study also uses a tool, namely a data card. Data collection uses reading and note-taking techniques. The data analysis used is the matching and agih method. The validity of the data is done through intrarater and interater. The results of the study found that the Bola tabloid found language styles from linguistic forms and types of idioms. The linguistic form of idioms has elements of human organs, namely words and phrases. From the type of idiom, it is seen in terms of the closeness of its elements in forming meaning, value content, and references to idiom elements. Idioms are material in the thematic learning of Indonesian content in grade 2 theme 1, sub-theme 1 with KD 3.1 Detailing expressions, invitations, orders, and refusals contained in story texts or songs that describe an attitude of living in harmony, 4.1 Imitating expressions, invitations, orders, and rejection in children's stories or songs with polite language.
