Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to improve the professionalism of teachers or educators at SMP Negeri 7 Muara Bungo through lesson study training. The methods used are lectures and discussions. This training was attended by 29 teachers from various other fields of study at the school.Lesson study training consists of three stages, namely Plan, Do, and See. The informant plan the lessons to be implemented, such as preparing learning tools and media that will be used for lesson study activities. Then, the teacher carries out the plan stage, while other teachers act as observers. The implementation stage is called (the Do stage). The see stage, the teacher with the observer or observer, reflects on the implementation of the activities in the class. This activity adds to teachers' knowledge about lesson study and gets new experiences for teachers so that they can increase teacher professional competence.

Abstract

This research starts from the problem of the lack of teachers involving students in learning, the lack of teachers in guiding students to do exercises, the lack of teachers explaining things that are difficult to understand by students. This results in low learning outcomes of students. This study aims to reveal the influence of the scientific approach on thematic learning outcomes in Class I State Elementary School 166 / II in Tirta Mulya Village, Bungo District. This research is a quasi-experimental study. The research design used in this study is the static camparison: randomized group control only design. Where in the two sample classes a different treatment was applied, in the experimental class the scientific approach was applied while in the control class a conventional approach was applied. The population in this study were all students of class I SD N 166 / II in the village of Tirta Mulya, Bungo Regency with samples of the IB class as the experimental class and IA class as the control class. Sampling is done randomly. Research data was collected through student learning outcomes tests. The proposed hypothesis was tested using the t-test. Based on the findings of the study and discussion, it was concluded that there were differences in learning outcomes of students who were taught using the scientific approach to learning outcomes of students who were taught using a conventional approach to integrated thematic learning. significant 5% is 1,645.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas, bertujuan mendeskripsikan proses keterlaksanaan dan pencapaian hasil setiap siklus tindakan melalui penerapan pendekatan NHT dalam meningkatkan motivasi berprestasi dan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Prodi PGSD STKIP-MB dengan subyek penelitian mahasiswa semester 3 kelas C pada mata kuliah pembelajaran IPA kelas rendah. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi motivasi berprestasi, lembar observasi sikap, lembar observasi keterampilan, dan soal tes hasil belajar kognitif. Penelitian ini berhasil dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus tindakan. Setiap siklus tindakan mencakup kegiatan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase motivasi berprestasi pada siklus I mencapai 60,71%, pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 71,40%, dan pada siklus III berhasil meningkat mencapai 85,71%. Persentase sikap pada siklus I mencapai 75,10%, pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 83,75%, dan pada siklus III berhasil meningkat mencapai 91,24%. Persentase keterampilan pada siklus I mencapai 73,75%, pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 82,50%, dan pada siklus III berhasil meningkat mencapai 92,50%. Hasil belajar kognitif pada siklus I mencapai 58,62 (kategori rendah), pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 68,96 (kategori sedang), dan pada siklus III berhasil meningkat mencapai 82,75 (kategori tinggi). Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan NHT dapat meningkatkan motivasi berprestasi dan hasil belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low speaking skills of the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 13 Koto Baru. The purpose of this study is to describe the planning, implementation and improvement of speaking skills using the cooperative model think pair share in class V SD Negeri 13 Koto Baru Kecamatan Kubung Kabupaten Solok. The type of research used in this research is Classroom Action Research. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 13 Koto Baru Kecamatan Kubung Kabupaten Solok. The research was conducted in the second semester, namely May-June 2017, carried out in 2 cycles consisting of two meetings. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were students of class V with a total of 12 students. The data collection tools used were observation guidelines, tests and documentation. The result of this research is that speaking skills using the cooperative model of the think pair share type have increased, especially in using the right choice of words, pronunciation, intonation, stress, and expression. In the first cycle of meeting I, the students' speaking skills were 60.7%, increasing in the first cycle of the second meeting to 67% with a completeness level of 41.7%. Likewise in the second cycle of meeting I students' speaking skills increased to 72.3% and meeting II became 80.1% with a completeness level of 83.3%. It is suggested that teachers should be able to apply learning speaking skills using the Think Pair Share type cooperative model.

Abstract

This research is motivated by groupings that only use the lecture method without using media in the application of students who are not active in learning such as group discussions and asking questions. In addition, from the data obtained by students' science learning outcomes are still low, which is still below the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM), which is 70. This study aims to improve Student Learning Processes and Results by using Image and Image Methods in Science Learning. The design of this study is classroom action research using two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely planning, implementation, and reflection. The research subjects were teachers and third grade students of Public Elementary School No.105 / II in Rambah Village who practiced 36 students. Data collection techniques use teacher performance measurements and tests. The results showed that the teacher in the first cycle of my meeting got a score of 69.32% with good criteria, meeting II with a score of 72.73% with good criteria. In the second cycle my meeting with a score of 82.95% criteria was very good, in the second cycle of the second meeting with a score of 100%. And classical completeness of student learning outcomes in the first cycle of meeting I was 33% and the first cycle of meeting II was 50%. In the second period, the first meeting was 67% and the second meeting was 94%..
