Abstract

The computerized system is closely related to today’s office works. Computer works with high intensity of repetition and awkward posture can cause harm or risk. This can cause discomfort in several areas of the body. Therefore, an office ergonomics assessment that focuses on humans as the most important component is needed to determine the impact and causes of the discomfort problem. In this study, MIRTH Office is used as the assessment tools. The questionnaire consists of two parts, namely general information and conformity assessment. The data processing stage in this study consisted of problem identification and problem grouping. The results showed that most of the respondents experienced pain in the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists and lower back. These results indicate the need of ergonomics intervention as early as possible to prevent the risk of musculoskeletal disorders.

Abstract

Padang city precisely in the administrative area of Labuhan Tarok Village, Teluk Kabung Bungus District, is a capture fish production center that makes a major contribution in West Sumatera, in that area already has a cold storage which is a facility belonging to the Ministry of Maritime affairs and fisheries. Currently, the cold storage is constrained by not being used optimally, where cold storage is often found in a condition less than 50% filled. Objective of this study was to analyze the utility level of the existing cold storage using a dynamic system. In this study primary data was used by the data collection methods, namely field observations, interviews, FGD and secondary data collection derived data from relevant government agencies. The software used in this research was Vensim software. Based on the dynamic simulation obtained, it was stated that the number of fish entering cold storage generally does not show significant fluctuations. By assuming the current fleet and fishing gear, it can be concluded that if we maintain the current condition of the vessels and fishing gear, the amounts of fish caught entering cold storage will still not get the optimal cold storage capacity. Therefore, it is necessary to disseminate information to the local fishing community to empower the use of cold storage, improve the facilities and infrastructure of ocean Bungus fishery port, especially cold storage, besides that it is hoped that the local government will help find subsidized assistance for more modern fishing fleets and gear. Keywords : cold storage, dynamic simulation, fish catch

Abstract

PT. X is a distributor of beverage companies that produces various soft drinks (soft drinks). The problem that occurs in these distributors is that they have to service many shops located far from warehouses, with locations scattered in several places and limited transportation facilities with an average capacity of 150 boxes / car. The average number of stores that must be visited every day is 40 for one distribution area. Planning the sequence of product distribution to consumers is still based on subjective decisions from the driver and kernet, so the product distribution time is less than the maximum. This research will design a product delivery route applying the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) model to optimize the distribution route. This research uses store sorting method namely Nearest Neighbor and Branch and Bound methods with the help of WinQSB software so that the best product delivery route is obtained. These results can be seen with more optimal mileage, travel time and costs. Based on data processing, it was found that the best X product delivery route at the distributor of PT X Bukittingi was obtained using the Branch and Bound store ordering method.
