Abstract

Financial literacy is a basic need for avoiding financial distress. Financial distress is not only a function of low income, financial distress can also arise if there is an error in financial management (mismanagement) such as poor credit management and absence of financial planning. Therefore, upgrading the ability to know financial literacy is needed in order to succeed in managing funds and reducing consumptive behavior and pushing groups towards investing behavior. This PKM is in collaboration with SD Islam Al Azhar 17 Bintaro, South Tangerang. The purpose of this PKM is to increase knowledge about financial literacy for the teachers of SD Islam Al Azhar 17 Bintaro. Teachers are an extension of the hands of academics to reach more parties in order to familiarize the financial literacy movement in society. Training and socialization through webinars attended by 33 teachers of SD Islam Al Azhar 17 Bintaro on December 7, 2020. The results of PKM are 51.5% currently have basic knowledge of financial management. This PKM is expected to provide benefits for teachers, the community, OJK, the financial services industry, the government and academics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of eco-control on carbon emission disclosure and to examine the effect of carbon emission disclosure on economic consequences. Companies used as samples are oil, gas and coal companies in in non-Annex 1 member countries which data are available in the Osiris database. The observation period begins at the commencement of Kyoto Protocol commitment to date or from 2013 to 2016. Data analysis technique used in this research is Partial Least Square method using WarpPLS 4.0 application. Test results show that eco-control positively affects carbon emissions disclosure. Furthermore, carbon emissions disclosure positively affects trading volume and negatively affects bid-ask spread and share price volatility. This study has implications for governments and companies. Governments can change the rules to make carbon emission disclosure as mandatory disclosure for companies that have the potential to generate carbon emissions. Companies that have environmental concerns and disclose carbon emissions will gain legitimacy and a positive response from stakeholders.

Abstract

This community service (PKM) is in collaboration with the National Entrepreneurship Movement of Central Java Province. The purpose of this PKM is to provide guidance and an overview of making financial reports through the Zahir system to MSME owners who are members of the Central Java GKN. This PKM activity was held on Monday, October 24 2022 via zoom meet which was attended by twelve participants, namely from Pamulang University attended by a team of accounting lecturers, Fina Ratnasari, S.E., M.Ak., Ambarwati, SE, M.Sc, and Puspita Handayani, S.E., M.Ak. and 9 MSMEs that are members of the Central Java GKN. It is hoped that with virtual (online) mentoring by the implementing lecturer of the PKM Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics, University of Pamulang, Tangsel regarding making financial reports using the Zahir application and marketing products using social media in businesses that are members of the Central Java GKN, it will increase the sustainability of these MSMEs.
