Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada pelaku UMKM di wisata Pantai Minang Rua, Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Pelaku UMKM wisata Pantai Minang Rua mengalami penurunan omzet selama pandemi Covid-19, karena terjadi penurunan jumlah wisatawan. Perlu ada pendampingan bagi para pelaku UMKM agar dapat bertahan selama pandemi Covid-19 dan dapat bangkit setelah pandemi Covid-19 berakhir. Penerapan sustainable tourism diharapkan mampu mendorong pelaku UMKM mendapatkan manfaat baik dari sisi ekonomi, sosial maupun lingkungan. Materi edukasi yang diberikan kepada pelaku UMKM yaitu penerapan sustainable tourism melalui local control, physical integrity, environmental purity, dan economic viability. Pemetaan materi tersebut berdasarkan survey dan wawancara dengan masyarakat dan Pokdarwis wisata Pantai Minang Rua. Materi diberikan melalui diskusi face to face. Berdasarkan hasil angket yang diberikan kepada para pelaku UMKM terlihat bahwa pelaku UMKM telah memahami penerapan sustainable tourism di wisata Pantai Minang Rua.

Abstract

This paper tried to explain the importance of Hegemonic stability to resolve conflict in Rohingya and also to see ASEAN countries opportunities to be hegemony power, so that they are influential to implementation ASEAN rule particularly in Rohingya conflict resolution. The method that is used in this research is qualitative in descriptive-analytic explanation. Theoretically, hegemony power was needed to create international system stability as well as to create the security in the region. Rohingya conflicts caused many people to evacuate themselves to neighbor countries. This condition caused security in the region became not stable. Therefore, it needed hegemony power to create stability in the region. The country which has strongest power was able to influence other countries. If it was compared to other ASEAN countries, Singapore is the most powerful country in ASEAN. Singapore is one of country that has the biggest military power, advance economic and stable political situation. However, Singapore has weakness as the smallest country with small populations, so that it is not too influential in ASEAN institution. Singapore did not have enough opportunity to become hegemony power to control instability that was caused of Rohingya conflict.

Abstract

After the economic reform in 1978, China experienced a rapid economic growth. The open door policy adopted on economic reforms succeeded in attracting many foreign investors in the sector of manufacture. Along with its status as a new power of the world economy, China is also ambitious to become the largest maritime power. The Indian Ocean is a strategic area to strengthen China's steps to support economic needs and become a maritime power. To achieve strategic interests in the Indian Ocean Region, China joins as an IORA partner. China’s effort to dominate at the IORA is not only to recruiting rival countries, but also to built strategic partnerships with the countries in the Indian Ocean region. Besides Pakistan and Myanmar, China has also established strategic partnerships with Iran, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. For strategic partner, China is seen as an alliance in strengthening politics in their country and is a supplier of military weapons and technology with affordable prices. This paper will explain the China's interests in the IORA and China's position compared to other IORA member, and also China's strategy. The results obtained shows that China has the potential to become a maritime power at the IORA.

Abstract

Potensi pariwisata Lampung yang tinggi perlu mendapat perhatian dan prioritas untuk meningkatkan daya saing destinasi wisata. Data kunjungan wisatawan tahun 2018 menunjukkan minat wisatawan asing yang tinggi terhadap objek wisata pantai dan alam di Lampung. Akan tetapi potensi pariwisata tersebut belum optimal mengingat belum diprioritaskannya sektor pariwisata sebagai salah satu sektor strategis yang dapat menyokong peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendorong kesadaran pemerintah daerah Provinsi Lampung dalam inisiasi kerjasama pada sektor Pariwisata, guna meningkatkan daya saing dan optimalisasi sektor pariwisata daerah Lampung sebagai salah satu sumber aktifitas ekonomi masyarakat. Upaya inisiasi kerjasama dilakukan melalui Focus Grup Discussion dan Seminar yang mempertemukan beberapa elemen pemangku kebijakan dan kepentingan pada sektor pariwisata. Target luaran yang ingin dicapai adalah terdorongnya pemerintah daerah Lampung dan beberapa elemen/stakeholder lain dalam memulai realisasi kerjasama sektor pariwisata daerah dengan pemerintah negara Australia sebagai salah satu mitra luar negeri Lampung.

Abstract

Purpose: To analyze implementation of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of cooperation halal accreditation between the National Accreditation Committee (KAN) and Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology (ESMA) 2018 in trade relations between Indonesia and the UAE. Method: This type of research is descriptive qualitative using secondary data. The data collection technique used document analysis while the data analysis technique used content analysis which refers to the process of classifying, summarizing and tabulating data. Result: The results of this study are all 6 MoU mechanisms in halal accreditation cooperation have been carried out according to mutually agreed procedures and an understanding of halal accreditation. It has been reached through LSH Indonesia which is recognized by ESMA. However, the implementation of the MoU has not provided a maximum contribution yet to Indonesia's trade relations with the UAE.

Abstract

Poverty alleviation solutions can be achieved by increasing the economic resilience of the community. Koperasi Melati Jaya, Sukamenanti Village, was established as an effort to strengthen the economic resilience of the community. However, its operations experience obstacles and obstacles such as the absence of internetbased correspondence and lack of knowledge about cooperative partnership programs. This service aims to provide managerial assistance to members of the Melati Jaya Cooperative in digitizing correspondence and explaining the cooperative partnership system. This service activity was carried out by conducting training on digitizing correspondence and socializing partnerships. The results obtained from this service show that most members of the Melati Jaya Cooperative can digitize correspondence and understand cooperative partnership proposals

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of the local government in increasing the competitiveness of Lampung shrimp exports to be the National Shrimp Barn. The data was obtained by reviewing several primary and secondary documents and in-depth interviews with the Head of the Department of Marine Affairs and Fisheries in Lampung Province. In this study, we use a quantitative approach using RCA (Revealed Comparative Advantage) to find the competitiveness of Lampung shrimp export value and Diamond Porter theory to analyze the strategies in increasing the competitiveness of Lampung Shrimp Export. The results indicate that the competitiveness of Lampung shrimp exports is very strong. The strategy used by Lampung Government to increase the competitiveness of Lampung shrimp exports is by a collaboration between the central and district governments realized by providing access to capital through Kartu Petani Pintar (Smart Farmer Card), technical assistance by forming cross-sector Working Groups (Pokja), and intensive pond constructions in several areas in Lampung.

Abstract

Rata-rata wisatawan mancanegara yang datang ke Lampung berasal dari Australia dan Belanda, yang tertarik dengan objek wisata Surfing di Pulau Pisang. Selain objek wisata pantai bergelombang tinggi untuk surfing, wisman juga menggemari kunjungan wisata ke Taman Nasional Way Kambas dan wisata iconic Gunung Anak Krakatau. Data kunjungan wisatawan tahun 2018 menunjukkan minat wisatawan asing yang tinggi terhadap objek wisata pantai dan alam di Lampung. Akan tetapi potensi pariwisata tersebut belum optimal mengingat belum diprioritaskannya sektor pariwisata sebagai salah satu sektor strategis yang dapat menyokong peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peluang dan tantangan dalam inisiasi kerjasama Pariwisata antara Lampung dan Australia, guna meningkatkan daya saing dan optimalisasi sektor pariwisata daerah Lampung sebagai salah satu sumber aktifitas ekonomi masyarakat. Data didapatkan dengan menggunakan studi literasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan hambatan tata kelola dan tantangan yang dihadapi dalam inisiasi kerjasama Lampung-Australia di sektor Pariwisata baik dari internal maupun eksternal.

Abstract

This research focuses on Indonesian's policy regarding the postponement of the prohibition of using cantrang and its relationship with trade and environmental aspects. In line with the trend trading which is draws many environmental issues as a rule, Indonesia should be careful to apply trade policy. One of them is the cantrang as a fishing tool which will affect Export of Indonesian Fishery Products. This research uses a qualitative approach with case studies. The results of this research show that cantrang is considered as fishing equipment damaging marine ecosystem, so that its restriction will give benefit for Indonesia. Indonesia has implemented a regulation prohibiting the use of cantrang in 2017 but Indonesia withdrew the regulation in 2018. This research finds out how the Indonesia policy tends to prioritize trade interests over environmental interests.
