Abstract

Coal brequet are hoped to replace the earth oil fuel and wood that nowadays have been critically supplying and limited usage. The operational activities which can caused pollution are the supplying of raw materials and additives, production process and post production. Therefore we sugest to maintain a good management for operational activities, especially to minimize pollution.

Abstract

Oil and fat can be changed to become rancid. Rancidity of oils and fats may be caused by oxidative rancidity, enzymatic rancidity and hydrolytic rancidity. The most common rancidity o..f oils and fats are caused by atmosphere air oxidation. The damaged oils and fats which highly heat are caused by oxidation and polimerization process. Oxidation of oils and fats will result : aldehide compound, ketone, hydrocarbon, alcohol, lactone and aromatc compound which have rancid odor and bitter flavour. The factors which can accelerate the oxidation are radiation (heat and light), oxidizing agent, metal catalist andorganic catalist "Which is heat labile.

Abstract

The application of PE is the first rank from the plastic consumption in Indonesia. Industrial structure of PE is rather strong, because the ethylene monomer as the raw material has been produced locally.The local demands of PE during the last three years (1992 - 1994) were increased very high, it on average 45, 05 % per annum. Usually the LDPE is used for film packaging material, while the HDPE is used for rigid packaging.

Abstract

Package is very important for foods, beverages and cigarrettes. Food is very sensitive to environmental effect, therefore they must be protected with the packaging. One of the requirements of the packaging material for food is not interaction between food and packaging material or vice versa. The packaging material which is usually used, consist of : glass, metal, plastic, paper, boxes and Aluminium foil. In generally the function of the packaging is as container for easily to storage, transportation and distribution. The other function is to protect, to preserve and to promote the product. With the development of food, beverage and cigarrette industry, it means that the needs of package is increased.

Abstract

Componen of air pollution from transportation consist of: CO, Nox, Sox, HC, paticles and Pb Br 2. Based on the result, of sawyer Research CO was formed at ER > 1, while NO was formed at ER < 1. Beside that sawyer also found that the combustion at low temperature, CO decreasing and prevented to form NO.For decreasing air pollution we must arrange the comparation of air and fuel. The other side we must also effort a good maintenance of machine and step by step to test the emission gas from the automobile. TEL additive must be subtituted with the other additive that it does not pollution.

Abstract

The leather industry is one of the strong competitive industry, as it comes from renewable natural resources. Therefore, the leather industry has good prospect to develop at the Pelita VI to be the industrial products export competitive. To develop leather industry and leather products should be given closed attention and well managed, especially concerning raw material supply, quality and leather waste treatment.   INTISARI Industri perkulitan merupakan salah satu industri berdaya saing kuat, karena berasal dari sumber daya alam yang dapat diperbaharui.Oleh karena itu industri perkulitan mempunyai prospek untuk dikembangkan pada Pelita VI untuk dijadikan komoditi andalan ekspor hasil-hasil industri.Untuk mengembangkan industri kulit dan produk kulit perlu diperhatikan dan dikelola dengan baik, hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan penyediaan bahan baku kulit, mutu dan pengendalian limbah kulit.

Abstract

The waste of B3 is every waste contain of a dangerous anfd of or toxic goods. B3 waste can be produced from specific source, nort specific source and dispodal chemicals.              B3 waste has one or more characteristic as follow : corrosive reactive, easy to burm, easy to explode, toxic and infection.              Every body or enterprice is not permitted to import B3 waste from abroard to Indonesia or vice versa without permission from the Government of Indonesia Republic.  INTISARI               Limbah B3 adalah setiap limbah yang mengandung bahan berbahaya dan atau beracun. Limbah B3 dapat dapat dihasilkan dari sumber specific, sumber tidak specific dan bahan kimia yang dibuang.              Limbah B3 memiliki sesuatu atau lebih karakteristik berikut : korosif, reraktif, mudah terbakar, mudah meledak beracun dan menyebabkan infeksi.              Setiap orang atau badan usaha dilang memasukkan limbah B3 dari luar negri kedalam negri atau sebaliknyatanpa persetujuan pemerintah Republik Indonesia.
