Abstract

Performance appraisal in the view of Islam has not been much studied by Islamic scholars, particularly who focused on the areas of management. During the time, performance parameters of the discourse in the literature of human resource management was the conventional view. The views of conventional, not necessarily in accordance with Islamic values. Most conventional literature suggests about the values of performance only oriented to the life of the world and the material itself, not for the purpose of the afterlife and spirituality. Based on the above issues, this paper aims to identify how the parameters of performance appraisal according to the Islamic view. The results of the analysis have attempted to explore the performance values in the Islamic perspective, based on the views of Muslim scholars who focused on the areas of human resource management. View of Islamic scholars also referenced from the Quran as the supreme reference source in Islam.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the work motivation, organizational culture and competence on the performance of teachers in SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Aek Kanopan. The population in this study is all teachers of SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Aek Kanopan that amounted to 40 people. The data collection techniques in this study are documentation and poll list. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression analyses, classical assumption Test T, Test f and coefficient of determination. Data processing in this study uses the program SPSS 22.00 for Windows Software. Based on the results of the research conducted, from the partial testing influence of work motivation to the performance of the teacher obtained the value of sig (2 tailed) amounting to 0.005 smaller than a 0.05, then the motivation is declared a significant effect on the performance of teachers . A partial testing of organizational culture influences the teacher's performance gained a sig value of 0.003 smaller than a 0.05, hence the organizational culture revealed to be a significant impact on teacher performance. A partial test of competency influence on the teacher's performance obtained a sig value of 0.022 smaller than a 0.05, so it is stated that the competency has significant effect on the teacher's performance. Simultaneous testing of the influence of work Motiovasi, organizational culture and competency in the teacher's performance obtained a sig value of 0.000 smaller than a 0.05, then expressed work motivation, organizational culture and competencies are significant effect on Teacher's performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to test and analyze the influence organizational culture  and principals’s leadership on teacher’s performance which is moderated by teacher’s competence. The sample in this reseacrh was 98 permanent teachers from the Yayasan Perguruan Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar. Data collection was carried out by means of the questionnaire method. Methods used in this research were structural equation model partial least square (SEM-PLS). The results of this study indicate organizational culture does not significantly influence the teacher’s performance, the principal's leadership significantly influences the teacher’s performance, teacher competency significantly influences the teacher’s performance. Teacher’s competence does not moderate the relationship between organizational culture and teacher, teacher competence does not moderate the relationship between the principal's leadership and the teacher's performance of Yayasan Perguruan Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how micro business management is based on the Islamic paradigm. This is related to the Micro Business Strategy to Obtain Allah's Pleasure. The results of the study are expected to contribute to minimizing the problems faced, including limited human resources, capital, low ability to manage finances, lack of innovation and mastery of information technology. the main goal in developing the Islamic economy and in accordance with the objectives of the Islamic maqashid. Likewise with business management in Islam which aims to manage natural resources and all of their contents so that they can be utilized and benefit others, managed and processed properly and not contrary to Islamic law. Business management in Islam should be based on 1) the principle of monotheism and organizational commitment; 2) principles of organizational science and learning; 3) moral principles and personality of members of the organization; 4) principles of worship and work practices; 5) the principle of mardhatillah and performance
