Abstract

: Learning is a planned activity carried out in order to improve the knowledge and understanding of students, this study aims to find out what efforts can be made to improve Islamic learning outcomes (PAI) using the word square method at SDN 117/III Koto Datuak District Air Warm Kerinci, This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve PAI learning outcomes in the classroom. The research subjects were third grade students, who had the lowest learning outcomes. The research was conducted in three cycles. Each cycle uses a Kemmis and Taggart research model or design which consists of four components, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The data collection technique used the learning outcomes test technique, where there were two learning outcomes tests, namely pretest and posttest. The test in this study used a formative test in the form of an objective test, the test questions were realized in the form of multiple choice. The data analysis technique is by comparing the average (mean) results of the learning test before and after the action is taken. The results showed that the word square method could improve PAI learning outcomes with indicators, there was an increase in the average PAI learning outcomes from the pretest results of 70.06 increased to 73.91 in the first cycle, increased again to 76.79 in the second cycle and increased again to 78.94 in cycle III. The achievement of KKM physically also increased from the pre-cycle of 36.36% to 60.61% in the first cycle, increased again to 72.73% in the second cycle and increased again to 81.82% in the third cycle. This means that there has been a significant increase in results in cycle III, so the word square method can be standardized into a model to improve PAI learning outcomes.Keywords: Learning Outcomes of Islam, Mandatory Traits for Allah, Word Square Model.

Abstract

Majelis taklim is a form of informal religious education that develops in society. This study aims to reveal the role of majelis taklim Nagari Desa Baru kecamatan  Ranah Batahan Pasaman Barat in increasing knowledge and understanding. the practice and religiosity of the people towards Islamic teachings. The results of the study show that the majelis taklim plays an active role in increasing people's religiosity towards Islam. The role of the majelis taklim is realized in the form of: majelis taklim as a place to study religion; majelis taklim as a place to strengthen ukhuwah Islamiyah; majelis taklim as reinforcement of aqidah and morals; the majelis taklim as a means of tahsin reading the Koran and the majelis taklim as a place for correcting the implementation of worship. The implications of this study are expected for the supervisors, administrators, members of the majelis taklim in particular and the general public in order to maintain and enhance the role of the majelis taklim in the community as a means of increasing people's religiosity towards Islamic teachings.

Abstract

The occurrence of a multi-dimensional crisis, the mentality of the nation's children is bad, the decline in dignity is one of the importance of religious character education. To internalize the values of religious character to students, it is necessary to optimize education, one of which is character building through tahfidzul qur'an. character according to the Qur'an. This study aims to describe the program, methods and characters born from the tahfidz program. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach, while the data collection techniques used were the results of observations, interviews and documentation. Several results were obtained related to several Tahfidz programs implemented, namely daily, weekly, mid-semester and semester programs. Then the Qur'an Intensive (IQ) and at the end of the semester a Tasmi 'Akbar was held. Finally, the Mukhayyam Al-Qur'an program is held for two days after students return from school holidays with the aim of reviving children's memorization. To facilitate the memorization of the Qur'an, various methods were applied, namely: the Tiqrar, Talaqqi, Tasmi 'Tsuna'i, and Rabath methods. The religious characters that are implemented from tahfidzu that can be seen are honest, disciplined, patient, diligent, spontaneous without being asked, independent, and istiqomah in carrying out religious orders. The conclusion is that memorizing the Qur'an with a good and measurable program, then using the right method, will be able to shape the religious character of the students or the perpetrators.
