Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the increase in the length of long Liana Broad-leavedtendrils ( Merremia Peltata) in the Area of Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic Campus. Theresearch was conducted for 2 months in the area Campus of Agricultural Polytechnic StateSamarinda which includes preparation and marking activities of selected liana, making ajir, wrappingliana to stick where to vine, data retrieval, data processing and reporting. The data taken in this studyare: (1) Increase in the length of tendrils Liana Broad-leaved ( Merremia Peltata) that is deliberatelyallowed to creep above the surface of the ground (treatment 1st); (2) increase in the length of tendrilsLiana Broad-leaved ( Merremia Peltata) deliberately bought on stick where to vine (treatment 2nd);dan (3) the number of Liana twists on each stick where to vine.Sampling is done intentionally(purposive sampling), namely by searching for liana in campus areas that are eligible for use inresearch. The number of samples for lyanas that are deliberately left to creep above ground level anddeliberately wrapped around stick where to vine each 30 individuals. The results of the study are asfollows: (1) the increase in the length of tendrils Liana Broad-leaved (Merremia Peltata) that isdeliberately allowed to creep above the ground (treatment 1st) is the amount of increase in tendrillength 12945.10 cm and average 431.50 cm / 6 weeks;(2) increase in the length of tendrils LianaBroad-leaved ( Merremia Peltata) deliberately bought on ajir (treatment 2) is the amount of increase intendril length 12835.10 cm and average 427.84 cm / 6 weeks; and (3) the increase of Liana BroadLeaved (Merremia Peltata) in stick where to vine is the amount of 214.00 twists and an average of7.13 twists.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of composting on the height increase of Jengkol (Pithecolobium jiringa) puppies after three months of weaning at the Samarinda State Agricultural Polytechnic Nursery. This study used a completely randomized design, with 4 types of treatment on weaning media and 10 replications. The treatments were N0 (pure sub soil), N1 (75% sub soil + 25% compost), N2 (50% sub soil + 50% compost) and N3 (25% sub soil + 75% compost). Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the height of jengkol (Pithecolobium jiringa) seedlings was treated with different growth media, namely planting media (subsoil) without compost (N0), planting media with a ratio of subsoil and compost compared to 75% : 25% (N1), planting media with a ratio of subsoil and compost 50% : 50% (N2) and planting media with a ratio between subsoil and compost 25% : 75% (N3). that all growing media gave a positive response to the height increase of jengkol (Pithecolobium jiringa) seedlings. Treatment N2 showed greater height gain, but based on the Least Significant Difference Test (LSD) at the 95% confidence level, treatments N1 and N2 were not significantly different.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh hubungan (keeratan) diameter dengan tinggi pohon Ekaliptus (Eucalyptus pellita) umur 3 tahun yang ditanam di areal Hutan Tanaman Industri PT. ITCI Hutani Manunggal. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 50 pohon yang terdiri dari 35 pohon untuk menyusun suatu model penaksiran tinggi dan 15 pohon untuk validasi dari model yang terpilih. Pohon sampel dan pohon untuk validasi diambil dari lokasi yang sama dan dengan cara pengukuran yang sama. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran data diperoleh sebaran diameter antara 6.0-14,2 cm dan tinggi antara 9,2 – 16.7 m. Hasil analisis didapat hubungan diameter dengan tinggi pohon ekaliptus (eucalyptus pellita) umur 3 tahun, yaitu log H = 0.4412261 + 0.67606319 log D atau H = 2.80622579D0.67606319 besarnya koefisien korelasi (r) 0.965929 dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 93.30%. Hasil validasi persamaan dengan menggunakan uji T didapat bahwa t-hitung lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan t-tabel. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa persamaan tersebut dapat digunakan untuk menaksir tinggi pohon pada areal tersebut.

Abstract

Gas rumah kaca menimbulkan dampak yang besar terhadap perubahan iklim global, sehingga perlu dilakukan upaya mitigasi untuk mengurangi dampak tersebut. Inventarisasi Hutan Menyeluruh Berkala bisa digunakan sebagai dasar pengukuran biomassa di atas pengukuran tanah. Provinsi Kalimantan Timur dalam program FCPF ini diminta menggunakan perhitungan emisi dan nilai perhitungan dihitung berdasarkan metode Monte Carlo. Sedangkan metode Monte Carlo sendiri memerlukan informasi tentang distribusi biomassa, yang saat ini belum diketahui bentuknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Menghitung jumlah biomassa pohon per hektar, dan nilai ketidakpastian 2) Membuat bentuk distribusi biomassa berdasarkan data plot IHMB. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dari pengukuran diameter IHMB dari PT INHUTANI UMH 1 Meraang Berau. Pengolahan data yang dilakukan adalah pembuatan distribusi diameter, lalu dilakukan perhitungan biomassa dengan menggunakan rumus alometrik. Selanjutnya penerapan distribusi normal dan distribusi lognormal pada data biomassa serta perhitungan nilai ketidakpastian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari 611 petak ukur nilai rata-rata biomassa yaitu 167,1 ton dengan total biomassa keseluruhan adalah 102.137,7 ton ha -1 , dengan nilai ketidakpastian sebesar 7,5%. Hasil dua bentuk distribusi yang diuji berdasarkan bentuk visualnya, distribusi normal lebih baik dari distribusi lognormal.

Abstract

Land use is the end result of any form of dynamic human intervention. How to find out the form of land cover and use by using drones. This study aims to map and identify land cover and land use and determine the accuracy value of aerial photo interpretation results of land cover and land use in Jonggon Jaya Village. The expected results provide information related to the results of making maps of land cover and use and provide information on the form of land cover and use. This research uses drones and ArcGis Pro software which produces land cover and land use classes that refer to the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 7645-1: 2014 concerning Land Cover Classification. The results of mapping land cover and land use in Jonggon Jaya Village produced 29 land cover and land use classes obtained from the results of aerial photo interpretation. Industrial Plantation Forest (HTI) is the largest land cover and use with an area of 5096.30 Ha or 48.463% and rivers are the smallest land cover and use with an area of 0.32 Ha or 0.003%. The results of the accuracy test with the overall accuracy formula on the results of aerial photo interpretation are 95.18% of the data that matches the conditions on the ground or as many as 138 validation points that match the 145 overall validation points, while the interpretation error is 4.82% or 7 validation points.

Abstract

Penyuluhan pemanfaatan sampah plastik Di Dasa Wisma Lily I Kelurahan Harapan Baru Samarinda ini mempunyai tujuan mengembangkan sekelompok masyarakat untuk memperluas wawasan dan keterampilan dalam memanfaatkan sampah khususnya sampah plastik sehingga dapat membantu meningkatkan ketrampilan, kreatifitas dan kesejahteraan keluarga. Target yang ingin dicapai pada pengusulan program pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah Kelompok Dasa Wisma Lily I Kelurahan Harapan Baru Samarinda dapat memanfaatkan sampah non organik khususnya sampah plastik menjadi berbagai macam barang daur ulang yang bermanfaat dan bernilai ekonomis sehingga diharapkan dengan kegiatan ini dapat menambah penghasilan, kesadaran masyarakat tentang arti pentingnya lingkungan bersih, mengurangi limbah yang dihasilkan oleh rumah tangga terutama plastik dan semakin menjadikan masyarakat hidup sehat.Metode yang dipakai dalam pencapaian tujuan tersebut di atas adalah pertama-tama melakukan kegiatan survei lapangan. Pada kegiatan survei lapangan ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kondisi Dasa Wisma Lily I Kelurahan Harapan Baru Samarinda. Kegiatan penyuluhan memanfaatkan sampah plastik yang berasal daerah daerah sekitar menjadi barang daur ulang seperti sampah plastik menjadi dompet, tas, lampion, assesoris, bunga palsu.
