Abstract

Radicalism and anarchism can be carried out by students who are studying at public or private universities, especially in Serang City, Banten Province. The purpose of this study is to examine and improve the religiosity of university students in Serang City in countering radicalism and anarchism. The research used a qualitative approach with phenomenology as a method. The results of this study conclude that the religiosity of students in Serang City can be improved in several ways; carrying out periodical Islamic studies, istighasah (praying), learning to read and write the Qur'an, commemorating Islamic holidays, reviewing Islamic books, I’tikaf (staying) and taking care of the mosque, and going a pilgrimage. The role of universities in countering radicalism and anarchism, meanwhile, is by assigning Islamic religious education lecturers to guide and control the students to follow those activities.

Abstract

The results of a preliminary study show that on average the head of madrasah has less academic ability, lacks self-motivation, is less assertive in being a leader, is less able to influence and invite his subordinates to improve work ethic. This phenomenon is caused by the lack of competency, procedural, lack of transparency, many nuances, and internal and external factors of madrasah principals. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model. Miles and Huberman who argued that activities in qualitative data analysis were carried out interactively and carried out continuously until completion, so that the data was saturated. Activities carried out are data reduction, display data and conclusion drawing / verification. The results showed that the leadership role of the headmaster at MA Mathla'ul Anwar and MA Syekh Manshur is very important in improving the quality of education, because the head of the madrasah is a determining element in the direction of madrasah success and acts as a manager, leader, supervisor, educator, administrator, innovator, motivator.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is the importance of organizational change and development in improving the organization's ability to adapt to environmental changes. This qualitative research with a literature approach is sourced from various literatures; journal articles, reference books, textbooks, and related documents. The findings show that organizational change and development in Islamic educational institutions after the COVID-19 pandemic can be designed through three aspects; changing attitudes/values, modifying behavior, and encouraging structural and policy changes. So it is necessary to develop organizational leadership to influence people to behave in accordance with the expectations of the leader, and adapt to the strategic environment of the organization. Post-pandemic, Islamic educational institutions must be oriented to three things; the use of Islamic reasoning based on the Qur'an and hadith, human resources (human needs), and technology. Online learning has a positive impact, teachers and students no longer rely on face-to-face learning because they are used to doing distance learning. The challenges of Islamic Educational Institutions in overcoming organizational change and development are; (1) consider the fundamental role. (2) pay attention to the function of the instrument as an educational tool. (3) there is a constructive role. The three roles are an effort to integrate components to realize Islamic education, make changes and organizational development on government policies through the nature, roles, responding to challenges and developments as well as post-pandemic technology

Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pengaruh kompetensi guru PAI dan  Penerapan Strategi pembelajarannya terhadap penanaman nilai-nilai keagamaan di SMK bagian kelautan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Metode korelasional digunakan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel kompetensi guru PAI, penerapan strategi pembelajaran PAI, serta penanaman nilai-nilai keagamaan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah  peserta didik di SMKN 3 Pandeglang  Jurusan Pelayaran Program Studi Nautika Kapal di kelas XII dengan jumlah responden 24 orang dan siswa SMKN 36 Jakarta Jurusan Pelayaran Program Studi Nautika Kapal di kelas XII dengan jumlah responden 29 orang. Dalam penelitian ini teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan kuwsioner, observasi, dan wawancara, serta dokumentasi.  Hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa pengaruh kompetensi guru pendidikan agama Islam dan strategi pembelajaran terhadap penanaman nilai-nilai keagamaan siswa  SMKN 3 Pandeglang sebesar 49,35%, sedangkan pengaruh kompetensi guru pendidikan agama Islam dan strategi pembelajaran terhadap penanaman nilai-nilai keagamaan siswa di SMKN 36 Jakarta sebesar 10,9%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan secara komprehensif terhadap konsep dasar organisasi pendidikan islam dalam pemberdayaan madrasah. Kajian dilakukan di perpustakaan dengan cara mengumpulkan dan menelaah buku-buku, jurnal, dan temuan-temuan kajian lain yang berkontribusi terhadap masalah penelitian. Dalam penelitian ini, ditemukan beberapa hal adalah sebagai berikut: Konsep pemberdayaan madrasah, konsep tersebut mencakup pengertian dan prinsip-prinsip pemberdayaan, tujuan dan manfaat pemberdayaan, serta tahapan-tahapan dalam menerapkan pemberdayaan di sekolah. Kepala sekolah harus memahami bagaimana cara memotivasi, mengarahkan, dan memfasilitasi guru, staf, serta siswa untuk terlibat dalam proses pemberdayaan madrasah. Pemberdayaan madrasah merupakan upaya yang dilakukan oleh seluruh komponen dan unsur madrasah yang dimungkinkan oleh ide-ide unggulan serta keberhasilan dan keberhasilan madrasah. Tujuan dari pemberdayaan ini adalah untuk menciptakan keberhasilan kelembagaan atau madrasah yang memerlukan keselarasan untuk menyatukan keputusan dan kontribusi serta keterampilan yang relevan untuk madrasah dan masyarakat. Pemberdayaan madrasah juga dapat dicapai dengan artikulasi visi dan misi sekolah yang jelas, terciptanya lingkungan sekolah yang komunikatif dan ramah, serta dorongan dan bimbingan guru dan siswa untuk bekerjasama dan berpartisipasi aktif, meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan memperkuat kemandirian sekolah dalam memecahkan masalah yang dihadapi. Pemberdayaan sekolah juga dapat dilakukan melalui pengembangan program dan kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan peningkatan kualitas pendidikan, dan memperkuat kerjasama dengan pihak luar seperti orang tua, masyarakat dan pemerintah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the path goal leadership style in educational institutions. Path Goal Theory is a leadership theory that explains how the behavior of leaders will influence how employees perceive the path between their efforts and goals. Like other situational theories, path goal theory also says that leaders will be successful if they are able to adapt their behavior to the situations they face. For example, directive leadership will be suitable if employees lack experience and knowledge about work, and if work is unstructured and complex. The idea of ​​this theory is that motivation plays an important role in how supervisors and subordinates interact and, based on that interaction, success can be achieved. Path-goal theory presents two basic propositions. First, one of the strategic functions of the leader is to improve the psychological state of subordinates which results in motivation to perform or satisfaction with work. In other words, leaders need to become aware of the necessary steps to in turn increase the intrinsic motivation of subordinates. Second, it asserts that certain situational leader behaviors will achieve a motivational function. Path-goal theory recognizes four leadership behaviors to increase subordinate motivation. The four path-goal leadership styles that serve to provide structure and reward to subordinates are directive, supportive, participative, and achievement-oriented.

Abstract

The author in this study discusses the analysis of situational leadership models looking at the expert opinion of Hersey and Blandhard. According to Hersey and Blanchard there are four situational leadership styles, namely telling, selling, participating, and delegating. Telling is a leadership style that reflects a directing leadership style, this style is loaded with task-oriented behavior and minimal human relations-oriented behavior. This article is a type of qualitative research with a library research approach. In the literature study, the authors carried out activities to collect literature relating to the analysis of situational leadership models. Then a re-examination of the literature is carried out in depth so that it can produce the core of the discussion and conclusions

Abstract

The principal's administration can influence school activities. This research uses qualitative research and describes the problems studied. This type of research uses qualitative research to identify and describe the role of the principal in improving teacher performance at SMP IT Babunjah Menes. Therefore this type of site-based research is field research where researchers go directly to the field to see firsthand what the purpose of the research is. Qualitative research has three data collection techniques, namely interviews, documentation and observation. Based on the results of this study, there are two things that are in line with the problems that the researchers found, including 1). The principal as a leader can motivate and direct stakeholders to work well in accordance with the school's vision and mission to improve teacher performance. 2). Principal management as a leader provides evaluations to increase teacher effectiveness in advancing schools 3). Among other things, the big role of the school principal in implementing the management process and managing it appropriately according to the work program that has been prepared to produce the best results, greatly influences the change and improvement of teacher performance. school. very good results. The role of the principal in providing directions in improving teacher performance has been fulfilled, but not all of them have increased greatly.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the leadership of the head of the madrasah in improving teacher discipline and performance in MAN 2 Cilegon City. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection is carried out by means of interviews, observation, and documentation. The data obtained is then analyzed using qualitative data analysis consisting of: (a) data reduction, (b) data presentation, and (c) conclusions. The results of this study show that the leadership of the head of the madrasah in MAN 2 Cilegon City with a democratic leadership style that is open, communicative, and prioritizes common interests. Efforts made in improving discipline in MAN 2 Cilegon City are by cultivating commitment, reward and punishment, as well as using points for attendance. Meanwhile, the efforts of MAN 1 Cilegon City in improving teacher performance are by providing coaching, attending training and seminars, supervising. In general, the effectiveness of leadership in MAN 2 Cilegon City in improving teacher discipline and performance cannot be seen because it is still running, and the planned work programs are also still continuing from the previous leadership even though there are new programs implemented but all are still running. So the leadership of the head of the madrasah will affect in improving teacher discipline and performance, because the head of the madrasah is the spearhead in improving teacher discipline and performance.

Abstract

The teacher is the spearhead of educational progress, if the teacher has good competence, it is certain that the output produced will also be good. But in reality this is not always the case, the problem of student delinquency which is still a scourge in the world of education suggests that the role of the teacher so far has only been limited to teaching material in class, moreover the teacher is considered weak because he has not been able to transform the essential values ​​of education as a whole. in the learning process. In order for the implementation of education to be more focused, a policy is needed which is the basic reference as well as a legal umbrella to overcome problems in the world of education. The policies that have been set are expected to be able to improve the quality of existing education. The formulation of the problem of this thesis is how is the policy of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province in improving the quality of teachers, how is the implementation of the strategic plan of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province in increasing teacher competence, how is the monitoring and evaluation system of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province in improving teacher quality, what is only the obstacles that impede the improvement of teacher quality in the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province. This research is a qualitative research. The subjects of this study were the Head of the Madrasah Education Section of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province and the Madrasa Supervisors. The place of research was conducted at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province. The method of collecting data using interview techniques, observation and documentation. The results of the study show that: the policy of the Banten Province Ministry of Religion in improving teacher competence is to refer to Law no. 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers whose main focus is related to the teacher certification program which includes four competencies, namely pedagogic competence, social competence, professional competence and personality competence. Implementation of the strategic plan of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province in improving teacher quality in collaboration with the Madrasah Head, Subject Teacher Consultation (MGMP), Teacher Performance Group (KKG) is used as a medium to socialize programs that will be and are being implemented and involve teachers in training, training and seminar. The supervision and evaluation system of the Ministry of Religion of Banten Province in improving teacher competence is by implementing a monitoring and evaluation system that is formative, summative and progress carried out monthly, semiannually and annually. There are two main obstacles faced in implementing existing policies, first, the problem of inadequate budget funds. Second, related to the lack of motivation and internal awareness of teachers to continue to develop their competence.
