Abstract

Charity activism has been growing significantly since the pandemic covid-19 outbreak in the early 2020s among Indonesian Muslims. Not only state and non-state actors have taken a role to lessen covid-19-victims’ drawbacks through Islamic social finance, but also private organization and association have done the same. The purpose of this paper is to examine the sustainable charity of Azzavirtium Endowment Fund (Dana Abadi Azzavirtium/DAZZ), which has initiated by the 2004 alumni association of Darussalam Gontor Boarding School (Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor/PMDG). Employing the model of Participation Action Research (PAR), this paper argues that the DAZZ's endowment fund management has given the pattern of sustainable Islamic social finance. Furthermore, this paper argues that the endowment fund has impacted on raising of sustainable compassion activism among alumni members, families, and even for the second generation. It further found that the orphans sponsoring has done with a textual understanding of religious orders without adding another material consideration.

Abstract

Ciri utama suatu daerah menjadi suatu daerah yang otonom terletak pada sumber daya keuangan daerah, yaitu harus memiliki kekuatan dan kemampuan untuk mengembangkan sumber daya keuangan secara mandiri dengan meminimalkan ketergantungannya kepada pemerintah pusat, sehingga penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kewenangan pemerintah daerah untuk mengurus keuangan daerah. Hingga saat ini berbagai kebijakan telah ditempuh untuk mengembangkan dan meningkatkan kapasitas kemampuan daerah di sektor keuangan, karena aspek keuangan daerah penting untuk di telaah lebih lanjut. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni menelaah tingkat kinerja keuangan APBD Provinsi Jambi periode 2017-2020 dengan menggunakan rasio keuangan daerah diantaranya untuk mengetahui tingkat rasio kemadirian, rasio efektifitas, rasio efisiensi, rasio pertumbuhan, rasio eaktivitas, dan pengukuran indeks kinerja keuangan pemerintah secara umum. Dengan melalui analisis terhadap kinerja keuangan daerah akan memperoleh deskripsi terkait susunan kinerja serta kegiatan perusahaan dan dapat menjumpai kekurangan pada kinerja keuangan daerah. Metode yang dipergunakan pada pada penelitian ini yakni metode analisis kuantitatif deskriptif. Jenis sumber pemakaian datanya yakni data skunder. Hasil Analisa memperlihatkan dimana tingkat kinerja keuangan pemerintah Provinsi Jambi secara umum berada pada kategori Cukup Baik. Namun diharapkan pemerintah harus lebih mampu meningkatkan pendapatan asli daerah dan meminimalkan belanja daerah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect between local revenue and general allocation funds on capital expenditures in regencies / cities in Jambi Province. The population in this study were all regencies/cities in the Jambi Province. The data used is secondary data taken from reports on the Realization of District / City Orchids in Jambi Province from 2017 to 2019. The sample in this study is 11 regions in districts and cities in Jambi Province, so the number of data tested for 3 years is 33 data. . The data analysis technique used in this research is Multiple Linear Analysis. The results showed that partially local revenue has an effect on capital expenditure while general allocation funds have no effect on capital expenditure. This study also shows that simultaneously local revenue and general allocation funds have an effect on capital expenditure.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of consumer behavior and consumer satisfaction on purchasing decisions. This study uses quantitative methods and the type of data used is primary data, which is obtained from the results of distributing online questionnaires to respondents. These results can be seen partially. (T test) between Consumer Behavior and Consumer Satisfaction with Purchase Decision shows the value of tcount 4.107 > ttable 1.986. Between Consumer Satisfaction with Purchase Decision shows the value of tcount 5,208 < ttable 1,986. Simultaneously, this is evidenced by the results of fcount of 32,000>ftable with a significant value (sig) of 0.000. Because the sig value is much smaller than 0.05, the regression model can be used to predict that consumer behavior and consumer satisfaction simultaneously affect purchasing decisions. While the most dominant variable influencing purchasing decisions is customer satisfaction with a significant value obtained of 0.000 <0.05

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of operating expense budget and revenue budget on financial performance at PT Sinar Mas SMART Tbk. This research is a type of quantitative research. The sample uses purposive sampling method, namely the company's Gross Profit Margin (GMP) as well as the operating expense and revenue budgets for the 2015-2021 period. The data were analyzed by multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing using the t-test and R2 test with the help of SPSS 24.0 for windows software. The results showed that: The Operating Cost Budget partially has a significant effect on financial performance, this can be seen from the significance value (P Value) 0.003 which is smaller than 0.05. Budget Revenue partially has a significant effect on financial performance with a significance level (P Value) of 0.006 which is smaller than 0.05. And the contribution value of the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R-Square) of 0. 803 which means that the variation that occurs in the dependent variable (Financial performance) is 80.3% influenced by the independent variable (Operating cost budget and revenue budget) the rest is 19.7% (100% - 80.3%) while the rest is influenced by other factors. Abstract

Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats all need to be identified when running a betta fish business. To address this need, SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis is used, which plays a key role in determining an organization's strategy. SWOT analysis is a systematic method for analyzing threats and opportunities to predict future environmental conditions and predict problems that may arise in the future. In conducting this research, we adopted qualitative research as a method. Qualitative research is a research method that explores detailed information in the form of interviews with betta fish farmers in Jambi and provides descriptive data. This study also produces data in the form of written and spoken words directly from people and behavior that can be observed. The strategy used in developing the ornamental Betta fish cultivation business in the research area uses the SO (Strength and Opportunities) strategy. This strategy uses the company's strengths to overcome threats. The SO strategy uses the company's internal strengths to avoid or reduce the impact of external threats. In an Islamic economic perspective, the process of determining development strategies for ornamental betta fish cultivation businesses must be based on Islamic law, such as not selling or producing prohibited goods, as well as being transparent in determining price. And the most important thing is that cultivators do not carry out actions that deviate from the teachings of the Islamic religion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis strategi pengembangan batik yang berada di seberang kota jambi, Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi kasus pada Diana Batik. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang diperoleh dari hal wawancara dan kuesioner berkaitan dengan analisi strategi pengembangan batik. Hasil kuesioner dan wawancara akan dialisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan seluruh Diana Batik yang berada di Seberang Kota Jambi menggunakan strategi fokus (kombinasi dan cose leadership dan strategi diferensiasi), dan jenis strategi yang digunakan yaitu pewarnaan menggunakan naptol dan indigosol, inovasi motif, pemasaran dengan menggunakan media sosial dan pameran, penggunaan alat yang modem seperti canting elektrik dan kompor gas, serta inovasi motif dengan modifikan motif.

Abstract

Until now, there are still many who are afraid to start a business, including online business, so a real manifestation of a successful businessman has high self-efficacy/ability in starting a business. Apart from having the ability, a businessman must also be able to understand marketing planning and strategy. well in developing a business so that the business succeeds as expected, therefore the purpose of this research is to find out: 1) How is the self-efficacy of entrepreneurs in online business for FEBI students, 2) What is the strategy for developing entrepreneurship in online business for FEBI students, 3) What are the obstacles faced in developing entrepreneurs in the online business of FEBI students. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive approach, and the methods used in data collection are observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects in this study were students who had been running their online business for more than 3 years. The number of subjects in this study were 10 people. The results of this study note that FEBI students have high self-efficacy in online business or entrepreneurship, students are confident in their abilities and have expectations for their abilities in doing business online, in building confidence students obtain from several sources, namely personal experience, other people's experiences, verbal persuasion and emotional state. In the student business development strategy it is still not running well and efficiently, and there are obstacles to student businesses such as suppliers, competitors, capital and customers.

Abstract

The high distribution of zakat funds, the human development index can affect the level of poverty in Jambi Province. The purpose of this study is to find out how the influence of the distribution of zakat funds and the human development index on poverty. The variables used are the distribution of zakat funds and the human development index on poverty in Jambi Province in 2010-2021. The object of this research is Jambi Province which is registered in BAZNAS and BPS for the 2010-2021 period. The method used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously the distribution of zakat funds and the human development index variables have a significant effect on the poverty rate in Jambi Province. Partially, the distribution of zakat funds has no significant effect on poverty. Meanwhile, the human development index has a significant effect on the poverty rate in Jambi Province. The value of the coefficient of determination (R2) is known that the value of the coefficient of determination is 0.948725. This shows that the dependent variable (poverty level) can simultaneously be explained by the independent variables (zakat fund distribution and human development index) of 94.87% while the remaining 5.13% is explained by other factors outside the variables studied. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of sharia financial literacy and sharia governance on students' decisions to invest in the sharia capital market. The objects of this research are members of the GIS (Sharia Investment Gallery) Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin State Islamic University, Jambi. The method used is multiple linear regression analysis with data processing using SPSS version 27. The independent variables in this research are sharia financial literacy and sharia governance, while the dependent variable in this research is students' decisions to invest in the sharia capital market. The results of the research show that the independent variables (Sharia financial literacy and Sharia governance) simultaneously have a significant effect on student decisions. Then, partially sharia financial literacy and sharia governance also have a significant influence on students' decisions to invest in the sharia capital market.
