Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research is aimed to investigate how recruitment process conducted in Islamic university and what is the head of department policy in Islamic university in on recruitment process and in maintaining the quality of lecturer. A phenomenology approach was adopted. Data were gathered by conducting interviews with five participants which all is head of department (HOD) at Islamic universities in Indonesia. The data analyzed with grounded theory through three steps coding namely, open coding, axial coding and selective coding. The research found five themes related to recruitment process at Islamic university, namely main recruitment stages, recruitment types, applicant selection, recruitment problems and HOD decision. This research was aimed to seek the recruitment process at Islamic university. The future research should examine the impact of recruitment to the lecturer performances. The findings resulted in two implications. Theoretically, it is found that Islamic University had a unique distinction in recruitment process which is based on value and philosophy of the university. Practically, HOD decision in recruitment process should not be interfered, if there are potential candidate should be discussed in senate forum. This research focused on the recruitment process of lecturer at Islamic university and HOD policy on recruitment.Kata kunci : Recruitment process, Islamic university, head of Department policy, philosophy of university

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis strategi yang digunakan oleh toko Hijab Mazaya menggunakan model kanvas bisnis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam pendekatan deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi lapangan, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Pada elemen bisnis model kanvas secara keseluruhan pada bisnis hijab Mazaya memiliki kelebihan yang dideskripsikan pada 5 elemen BMC, yaitu hubungan pelanggan, proposisi nilai, aktivitas utama, sumber daya utama, dan mitra utama. Jika ditinjau dari aspek maqashid syariah dengan tujuan yaitu mnecapai falah atau kemaslahatan umat. Strategi BMC sudah menerapkan 4 prinsip utama yaitu hifdzu nafs, hifdzu nasl, hifdzu 'aql dan hifdzu mal.Adapun hifdzu din tidak tersedia pada 9 elemen strategi BMC. Setelah dilihat dari aspek maqashid syariah hasil dari penerapannya yitu adanya hubungan hifdzu nafs dengan 7 elemen yaitu Customer Segment, Value Proposition, Channel, Customer Relationship, Key Activities, Key Resource dan Key Partner. Pada aspek hifdzu mal ada 3 elemen yaitu Revenue Stream, Key Partner dan Cost Structure. Adapun Key Resource termasuk dalam prinsip Hifdzu Nasl dan element Channel termasuk hifdzu 'aql.

Abstract

Purpose - Determine an influence on the determinants of NAV (Net Asset Value) of Islamic mutual funds for the 2017-2021 period in IndonesiaDesign/methodology/approach -. The study uses a quantitative methodology. The data used are secondary data as time series. The data analytics technique uses the Vector Auto Regression (VAR) model and the Vector Error Correction (VECM) model. Data treatment using Eviews 10 and Microsoft Excel 2019.Findings - The results show that the variables significantly affect the net asset value of Islamic mutual funds. All variables have a negative effect, except BI7DRR that has a positive short-term effect. Simultaneously, all variables had no significant effect on the net asset value of Islamic mutual funds. The NAV reacted positively to the shocks of inflation, money supply, BI7DRR and ISSI, whereas the exchange rate reacted negatively. The most significant contribution to the net asset value of sharia mutual funds is itself. While the lowest contribution is the monetary supply and the ISSI.Research Limitations/Implications - The qualitative methods used have limitations that can be enhanced by combining other methods. for the data obtained, macroeconomic data and net asset value of Sharia Mutual Funds in Indonesia. Therefore, the results may only be applicable in Indonesia.Practical implications - Practitioners are advised to tend to look at the condition of BI7DRR which is determined by its policy through Bank Indonesia (BI) as a reference for consideration in making decisions to invest.Social implications - This research is expected to provide benefits to academics as a review of the sciences related to this research and can develop it.Originality/Value – To our knowledge, the period considered by the researcher is the last five periods, from 2017 to 2021. The search method used is VAR/ VECM which is used to measure and analyze the short-term and long-term influence of the variables.
