Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara aspek fisik dan psikologis atlet serta dapat diindentifikasi kekuatan dan kelemahannya sehingga dapat membuat langkah-langkah strategis, sistematis, terencana, dan komprehensif dalam peningkatan performa atlet dalam proses latihan. Metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis korelasional aspek fisik dan psikologis terhadap 10 atlet senam artistik putra di Jawa Barat. Instrumen aspek psikologis menggunakan kuesioner Athletic Coping Skills Inventory (ACSI-28) sedangkan instrumen aspek fisik menggunakan Fitness Model of High Level Gymnast. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada hubungan antara aspek fisik dan aspek keterampilan psikologis dari atlet senam artistik putra. Aspek fisik dan aspek psikologis secara bersama-sama saling mempengaruhi satu dengan yang lainnya.

Abstract

The background of this research was a lack of attention from coaches and athletes to impact of psychology aspect in increase of achievement. Psychological aspect had less attention in supporting improvement of achievement this thing is caused lack of knowledge of coaches about mental practice.This research had purpose in knowing the influence of imagery practice to the athlete's skill and self confidence, also the different influence between imagery practice and nonimagery practice to skill and self confidence. The research used experimental method with total population. Subject of the research was 60 athletes who consist of 12 PPLP gymnastic athletes (4 boys and 8 girls) and 48 gymnastic club athletes (18 boys and 20 girls). In this research, the sample divided into 2 groups, they are (1) Group A (imagery exercises), (2) Group B (non imagery exercises) as controlling group. However, group A had a treatment of imagery exercises and Group B had no treatment of imagery exercises at all. The research went on 6 weeks with 6 times practices every week.The result of the research showed that there was difference influence of exercises imagery and practice without imagery to gymnastic skill (Sig 0. 72 < 0.05). While difference influence of imagery and without imagery exercises to self confidence doesn't significant (Sig 0.027 > 0.05).Conclusion from this research is imagery exercises better compared to without imagery exercises to gymnastic skill, and there are no difference of influence imagery and without imagery exercises to self confidence. Keyword: Imagery Exercise, Gymnastics Skills, Self Confidence

Abstract

To control the quality of a product to meet standards, a reliable measurable technique is needed with the company's business strategy. This research raises case studies identifying quality problems and effective ways of improvement of O Ring products using DMAIC (Define-Measures-Analyse-Improve-Control) quality control methods. Company X found the problem in the form of an average O Ring product defect ratio reaching 1.50% (the company's target is 1.30%). DMAIC is a systematic methodology that focuses on the key factors that control the performance of a process, set it at the best level and keep it at that level. Statistical tools combined with quality principles are applied to each of the DMAIC phases. In the define phase, flowcharts, critical to quality trees, and voice of customer lists are used which produce five types of defects in curing process. In the measure phase, the sigma value combined with pareto diagram are used and shows that the current sigma value is 4,178 with the biggest defect is flow-mark for the O Ring type ZZ00000123. In phase analysis, the root causes of the problem are searched using the why-why analysis and cause-effect diagrams and finds out that the causes are un-sticky rubber tip and unstandardized rubber cutting length. In the improve phase, DOE-based experiments are conducted to get the ideal rubber tip and cutting length conditions. Finally, the work standard is revised in the control phase and monitored by check sheets and control charts. The result of this DMAIC implementation was the O Ring products defect dropped to 0.83% and the sigma value rose to 4,363.Keywords: quality, DMAIC, O Ring, defect, sigma, standard

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the correlation between the student learning motivation and physical education learning outcomes. This research involved 120 third graders Sekolah Dasar Merdeka, Bandung. It employed survey using simple, multiple, and partial regression analysis. The hipothesis showed that there was a positif correlation between student motivation and student learning outcomes in physical education. Abstract

To do the gymnastic floor movement needs a good skill, it is because gymnastic is a physical activity that helps to optimise the growth of children, and also gymnastic give a huge contribution in a basic fundamental moves development which is important to other sport activities, especially in terms of how we control the body efficiently and effectively. There are some problems in the implementation of gymnastics, like the students are afraid to do it, feel aching of their body after doing gymnastics, and they also have trauma for it, etc. Those things are caused of unsatisfied result of the lessons or they could not achieve minimum score in gymnastic subject. Therefor, the researchers used direct and indirect ( inquiry ) instruction lessons to comprehend the differences between them in gymnastic subject. The method which used is an experiment with Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design. The population of this research is 200 students of SMA N 1 Haurgeulis in 10 grade and using random technique simple which is 40 students as samples. The instrument used in this study was the measurement of psychomotor measurement. Based on calculations and data analysis can be concluded that for direct instruction obtained p-value (0.000) <α (0.05) then H0 is rejected. For indirect instruction (inquiry) obtained p-value (0.000) <α (0.05) then H0 is rejected. The conclusion of this study is that there is a direct influence learning direct and indirect (inquiry) instructions with the result of gymnastic subject in SMA N 1 Haurgeulis.Keywords: direct, indirect instruction, gymnastics
