Abstract

Penerapan teknologi informasi telah menyebar hampir di semua bidang, tidak terkecuali di bidang perpustakaan. Perpustakaan telah berkembang dengan pesat dan dinamis, sistem manualnya dirasakan tidak lagi memadai untuk penanganan beban kerja, khususnya kegiatan rutin dalam bidang pengadaan, pengkatalogan, dan pengawasan sirkulasi. Keadaan demikian menuntut penggunaan sistem informasi berbasis teknologi komputer atau  CBIS (Computer Base Information System). Pada penelitian ini dirancang suatu sistem informasi berbasis web menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP MySQL. Dengan sistem ini, diharapkan mampu mengatasi berbagai kebutuhan dari user untuk mencari informasi dan memudahkan bagian administrasi perpustakaan dalam melakukan transaksi pengolahan data buku perpustakaan, Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan penulis mengimplementasikan hasil penelitian tersebut kedalam sebuah bentuk Sistem Informasi Perpustakaan Berbasis Web pada sekolah – sekolah di Bandar Lampung. Kata Kunci : Perpustakaan, PHP MySQL, Web, Sistem Informasi

Abstract

Asset management is very  important aspect to company like PT. PLN.  Asset management may include record keeping, maintenance and environment management. Recording information asset owned by a company is the primary and most important thing to do. With the information obtained from the recording of data asset, the company will be able to know exactly what asset and how exactly the asset owned by the company. Having recorded assets, the company will be able to optimize the use of assets and the company will be easier to undertake further asset management. PT PLN (Persero) Tarahan’s Generating Sector is a Steam Power Plant which has assets spread both inside and outside the building. The dominant’s equipmens in this site plant are the generating engines. The process of recording information of assets in PT PLN (Persero) Tarahan’s Generating Sector is not entirely managed by computerized system. The process of recording assets is still done manually and not reliable.   This research develoved an Asset Inventory Information System which has features  that can do registration of information detail about attributes and monitoring and mapping the location of existing asset. This research is covering the fixed assets that exist in the Utility Building. Web-based GIS  of Asset Inventory Information System is built by using MapServer and Pmapper. Pmapper is a framework based on MapServer and PHP/Mapscript. Pmapper provides a good set of tools ready to use and it has a plugin API to add functionalities. The toughness of this framework is able to run well in various web-browser. The aplication is expected to facilitate the company determine and monitor, hence its use can be optimized. Keywords : Asset Management, Fixed Asset, Asset Inventory, Pmapper, MapServer, Web-GIS, PLN.

Abstract

Semaphore is a medium to communicate from one person to another. The process of studying semaphore codes is quite difficult and requires a relatively long time because of the limited medium for learning this code. This research aims to design and develop the application for learning semaphore code on Android-based mobile devices as well as providing an alternative learning media for semaphore code learners. Android mobile devices selected as the basis of application development considering of the use of those Android technologies.This application was developed with the Java, HTML, CSS and JavaScript programming language. The data used are motion pictures semaphore. The application tests was carried out using the Blackbox Testing method. The testing is done by examining the functional features of the application. The test results of system and application test shows that the Semaphore Code Application is able to run well on Android operating system applied on Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean version and also able to translate words and sentences in roman letters into motion pictures semaphores.Keywords: Android, learning media, mobile devices, semaphore.
