Abstract

CHARACTERISTIC-BASED COMPETENCY DETERMINANT ANALYSIS IN THE NOVOTEL HOTEL KARAWANG. This study aims to determine the effect of characteristic-based competency in the Novotel Hotel Karawang environment. The sample of this study was 70. Data were collected using a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression. The results showed that part there was a significant effect between skills on employee competencies, there was a significant effect between training towards on employee competencies, there was a significant effect between attitudes towards employee competencies, and there was a significant effect between motivation on hotel employee competencies Novotel in karawang. Together, the skills, training, attitude, and motivation factors have a significant influence on the competency of Novotel Hotel employees in Karawang and motivation has the most the dominant influence on the competency of Novotel Hotel employees in Karawang

Abstract

The existence of a building shop in an area has an important role in serving and meeting theneeds of the local community for building houses, renovating, and other building activities.Likewise, building shops in Bantul Regency have a no different role. The problem is inmanaging the building shop business, most of the financial reports, especially workingcapital, have not been managed properly considering that this business is generally ahereditary business, so that its management is done traditionally and manually. The purposethis article is to report the results of Community Service through increasing self-capacity bypresenting the Building Shop Working Capital Management Training in Bantul Regency. Torepresent building shops in the Bantul Regency area, this research used 2 building shops assamples. There are three stages of the training method used, (1) providing material, (2)practice and mentoring, and (3) monitoring and evaluation. The target and outcome to beachieved from this program is to produce entrepreneurs and company managers who haveknowledge and understanding of financial management, especially working capitalmanagement, so that they can make financial administration and financial documentsproperly which in turn can increase income optimally.

Abstract

The market potential for peanut snacks has a high opportunity, thus encouraging mompreuners to always increase production. However, mompreuners face difficulties in determining the optimal amount of production, considering the fluctuating sales results, to maintain the optimal stock of onion bean snacks, the solution is to make sales forecasts. (forecast) sales forecasting. The method applied in this community service is education in the form of training of financial literacy, namely sales forecasting, technology facilitation with Excel software, then the implementation stage is carried out in the form of practice determining sales forecasts. There are three stages in this community service activity, namely (1) Pre-activities, filled with socialization of activities and preparation of educational programs together with mompreuners; (2) Implementation of activities, including financial literacy education (training) in the form of sales forecasts, technology facilitation, and implementation of the practice of making sales forecasts; (3) Post-activity, in the form of monitoring and evaluation of implementation activities. It can be concluded that mompreuners and their employees seem enthusiastic about participating in this community service activity, both during education and financial literacy practices, namely making sales forecasts. Similar programs can be continued with other themes
