Abstract

Public opinion is an opinion, idea, or idea issued by internal or external public parties of an organization or company regarding an issue that arises. The internal or external public party obtains information about a matter either face to face or through the mass media. The creation of public opinion that develops in both internal and external public circles can assist companies in evaluating work programs in achieving the company's vision, mission, and goals. Public opinion is formed and is positive due to the existence of an effective communication process. The objectives of this study were to identify the strategies undertaken by PT. Vale Indonesia Tbk. in building communication effectiveness. The location of this research was carried out in East Luwu District, South Sulawesi where the company operates. The research method used is a survey method with quantitative data supported by qualitative methods (Mixed method). The technique of determining respondents through the method of sampling Morgan and Krejci. The determination of informants was carried out using the snowball technique. The data obtained were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Quantitative data analysis will be presented in the form of frequency tables and cross-tabulations, then qualitative data will be processed through three stages of analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the communication strategies and methods used in forming public opinion about the existence of the company and corporate social responsibility for the community were quite effective. So that a more optimal communication strategy is needed in order to create positive public opinion for both the company's existence and corporate social responsibility in the social, economic, and environmental aspects effectively.

Abstract

Keberhasilan suatu produk di pasar, didukung beberapa hal penting, diantaranya kemasan. Peran penting kemasan pada sebuah produk yang akan dijual. Selain bisa menambah nilai estetika, desain kemasan juga bisa menarik perhatian sekaligus bahan promosi.Selain itu produk yang sudah memasuki proses kemas biasanya juga bisa bertahan lebih lama serta bisa melindungi produk dari bahaya kerusakan saat proses pendistribusian. Kemasan adalah pembungkus atau wadah yang biasa dimanfaatkan untuk mencegah atau meminimalisasi adanya kerusakan pada barang di dalamnya. Adapun definisi pengemasan adalah suatu proses memberi wadah atau pembungkus untuk suatu produk. Misalnya, melindungi dari sinar matahari secara langsung, kelembaban udara, oksigen, pemcemaran dari virus atau kumas, dan benturan. Pengemasan produk bisa digunakan sebagai media petunjuk bagi konsumen melalu informasi atau tanda yang terdapat pada kemasannya. Berdasarkan pertimbangan itu, Dosen Universitasn Indonesia Timur (UIT) Makassar, yang terdiri dari dosen Fakultas Ekonomi dan Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik, menggelar sosialisasi akan pentingnya mewujudkan kemasan produk yang baik, kepada sejumlah Usaha Kecil Mikro (UKM) di Kota Makassar, dihadiri kurang lebih 15 pelaku usaha.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the reading behavior of Takalar 1 High School students by using the information selection process analyst . The research was conducted because it was motivated by the low level of literacy in Indonesian society , including in Takalar District in the midst of the huge penetration of information technology . Research carried out by using a qualitative narrative method . Informants from the group of students is determined by random stratification , while the informant of the group of employees of the library is determined based on criteria specified . Results of the study showed that the behavior of reading students SMA Negeri 1 Takalar not support to the direction of the acceleration of literacy because they are actively doing the selection of the information that is up to him . Selection of these include selective exposure , selective attention , and selective retention . Selection is done based on the needs of affective , needs the integration of social , and needs escapist. Suggested perform interference to evoke the need cognitive them in order to conduct read them not just read for the need to look for entertainment and fun self
