Abstract

Abstract : Nursing students often experience stress or stress in undergoing clinical practice. There are several factors that cause students to experience stress, including lack of knowledge and skills, workloads and assignments, and the clinical environment itself. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in stress levels of clinical practice students at level II and level III of Nursing Diploma III Program at STIKes Kepanjen. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with a causal comparative approach with a total of 60 respondents. Data analysis using Mann – Whitney so that the results show that there are significant differences in the level of stress level II and level III students in conducting clinical studies. While for the stressors of students who are undergoing clinical practice are lack of knowledge and skills, workload and assignments, hospital environment and when caring for patients. So that to achieve the goal of clinical learning is to prepare students both knowledge, skills and maturity in dealing with pressure when carrying out clinical learning.Keywords : Clinical practice, Nursing Student

Abstract

Hypertension or high pressure is a very big and serious problem. Hypertension is a health disorder where this condition can not be cured but can be controlled with a healthy lifestyle. Some risk factors to have a role in the occurrence of hypertension were dietary. This research aimed to determine the correlation of diet with hypertension in the elderly at integrated service post elderly Kepanjen in the district of Malang. Nonexperimental research was used in this research with a cross-sectional approach with 85 respondents were selected in this study randomly. Data collection is done by filling out the questionnaire. Furthermore, the data that has been collected using a computer-assisted program by using Correlation Spearman Rho test with a significance level (α) 0,05. A majority 76 (89.4%) in the category of diet that good enough, whereas in degrees of hypertension elderly most 47 (55%) in the category of hypertension stageI. Spearman rank statistical test results showed no relationship between a diet with the incidence of hypertension in the elderly with p> 0,005 and correlation coefficient 0,209. Based on this research people with hypertension disease are expected to always control blood pressure and maintain the diet, such as limiting sodium consumption, fatty foods, and many high fiber foods.

Abstract

Pengembangan kepribadian merupakan salah satu mata kuliah dasar yang harus ditempuh oleh mahasiswa keperawatan yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi serta meningkatkan kualitas diri, salah satunya melalui perencanaan karir, sehingga mahasiswa keperawatan mengetahui alur yang akan ditempuh mahasiswa dalam mencapai keinginannya dalam profesi keperawatan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengeksplorasi efektifitas GROW virtual coaching terhadap kemampuan mahasiswa keperawatan dalam perencanaan karir. Penelitian bersifat eksperimen dengan memberikan pendampingan (GROW coaching) yang dilakukan secara virtual yang melibatkan 23 partisipan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar kerja atau penugasan, penilaian sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan GROW virtual coaching yang kemudian diprosentase dan dikategorikan, dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya efektifitas GROW virtual coaching terhadap kemampuan mahasiswa keperawatan dalam perencanaan karir yang ditunjukkan dengan kemampuan mahasiswa keperawatan menentukan goal dalam pengembangan karir professional keperawatan (91,3%); mampu mengidentifikasi potensi diri (86,96%); mampu mencari alternatif solusi dari permasalahan; mampu menjabarkan tindakan untuk pencapaian target; mampu membuat portofolio perencanaan karir dimana ketiga indikator penilaian tersebut mahasiswa keperawatan mencapai 82,61%. Penerapan GROW virtual coaching mampu menjadi salah satu solusi pendekatan pengembangan kepribadian bagi mahasiswa dalam perencanaan karir, sehingga efektifitas dan efisiensi e-learning tetap memungkinkan untuk dilakukan secara optimal sesuai dengan capaian kompetensi pembelajaran.
