Abstract

The Provincial Government of Bali in developing quality human resources with integrity, professional, moral and has an identity based on the values of local wisdom implied in the Vision "Nangun Sad kerti Loka Bali". The implementation of all these stakeholders is incorporated in the form of an organization, namely the pekraman village. The pekraman village is a regional legal community unit in the Province of Bali which has a unified form of tradition and social manners for Hindu people from generation to generation in the three heavenly ties, which has a certain area. Own property rights or rights of household servants on the basis of kinship, mutual cooperation and togetherness principles. Various ways have been made in an effort to increase equity and welfare of the community. One of them is building community-based entrepreneurship, namely the Community Credit Institution (LPD). So the LPD is a non-bank financial institution, whose management is under the auspices of each pekraman village and is the guidance of the Bali Provincial Government. The purpose of forming an LPD is to help industrial and tourism activities become steady and sustainable. Thus, it can make the pekraman village a sustainable tourism village

Abstract

The era of globalization requires excellence, equity, resilience and competition will change the educational paradigm. Efforts to build the quality and quantity of human resource development in entrepreneurship, the business in the field of formal education both at the school and college level has the potential, to build enthusiasm and develop entrepreneurial spirit in students. Entrepreneurship is an ability (ability) in creative thinking and innovative behavior that is made the basis as a resource, driving force, tactics, tips and processes in facing life’s challenges. Thus entrepreneurship is very important to instill and teach as an independent scientific discipline in the preparation and use of skilled and professional human resources. Abstract

Along with the development of the globalization era in the field of education, there has been a change in the educational paradigm, namely the shift of the teaching paradigm towards the learning paradigm, which will give more roles to students (student center). This movement makes a reform in developing good learning strategies to respond to challenges in the future. Learning strategies are the science and art of managing learning to get results in achieving goals through and together with others in the context of planning, mobilizing and evaluating. Effective learning strategies include general principles and the methods chosen to deliver material in a particular learning environment. For this reason, it is important to design learning strategies that are able to create an atmosphere and learning process that is fun, stimulating, and challenges students to build their potential and develop creativity optimally in accordance with their talents and abilities.Keywords: Strategy, Paradigm, Learning

Abstract

The challenges of globalization that are so complex and unpredictable require this nation to find an appropriate and comprehensive formula, so that it can be a savior of national identity. The formula should be able to strengthen the symbols of the personality of the Indonesian people in a structured and Indonesian way in the midst of the influence of global science and technology. Social problems in the community with great concern, with the declining moral and ethical stage of politics and economics, the role of formal education is an important process for the formation of nation and character building.  Good character consists of knowledge about virtue, the desire to do good and do good, or positive thinking habits, habits of feeling in the heart, and habitual behavior. Education about the value (character) of students needs to be effective because of the various negative influences that can influence behavior such as, deviant behavior tendencies of students. Character Development and Education relates to: moral knowledge, moral feelings and moral behavior. From these three components determine moral life. For this reason it needs to be studied carefully in efforts to build a new Indonesia that is often referred to as civil society.Keywords: Character Education, Development and Formation of Morals, Students

Abstract

The aim of this research was to find out the factors affecting the students’ English learning motivation in culture tourism department State Hindu University I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar. It also aimed to find out which motivation contributes more on students’ English achievement. The research used qualitative method by providing questionnaire consisting of 20 statements. The questionnaire used Likert Scale. The sample was saturated sampling. The data acquired then was calculated by using statistical procedure and elaborated in descriptive way. The result proved the extrinsic motivation had more significant contribution towards students’ English learning motivation. The findings also revealed that extrinsic motivation in which quality of the teacher and teaching learning used and the module was the prominent factors that can sustain the students’ motivation in the class. Thus, the quality of the teacher and module must be the priority to maintain students’ motivation in the classroom

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pentingnya memperluas ekosistem pendidikan kewirausahaan dan peran perguruan tinggi dalam mempromosikan kewirausahaan serta inovasi. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengisi kesenjangan dalam literatur tentang ekosistem pendidikan kewirausahaan dan kolaborasi universitas-industri dan menawarkan wawasan tentang bagaimana universitas dapat berkontribusi pada ekosistem kewirausahaan regional dan nasional. Artikel ini menyoroti pentingnya kolaborasi antara universitas, bisnis, dan pemerintah dalam menciptakan ekosistem pendidikan kewirausahaan yang sukses. Artikel ini juga menyebutkan model Triple Helix dan pentingnya transfer pengetahuan dan komersialisasi di ekosistem pendidikan kewirausahaan. Artikel ini menekankan perlunya kemitraan universitas-industri-pemerintah yang kuat untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif bagi pertukaran dan komersialisasi pengetahuan. Artikel ini menyarankan untuk memperluas pendidikan kewirausahaan di seluruh perguruan tinggi dan menggabungkan pembelajaran aksi dan keterlibatan ilmuwan dalam modul kewirausahaan. Artikel ini juga menyoroti pentingnya kolaborasi antara perguruan tinggi, industri, dan pemerintah untuk menciptakan budaya kewirausahaan. Penelitian di masa depan harus fokus pada keterlibatan bisnis di sekolah dan perguruan tinggi, dan penciptaan spin-off akademik, pekerjaan kelayakan, dan komersialisasi pengetahuan. Artikel diakhiri dengan diskusi tentang perlunya pendidikan kewirausahaan dan pendekatan yang berbeda untuk mengajar kewirausahaan.
