Abstract

Micro Hydro Power (MHP) Plant is a small-scale power plant under 100 kW. Generally, MHP is built in a place that the electricity network has not touched. Many waterfalls in Taji Village are only used as tourist attractions. One of them is Coban Jahe waterfall which has a water discharge of 0.60567 m3/s in the dry season. Waterfall in Coban Jahe was used and planned as Micro Hydro Power Plant, it was called as MHP. Potential electric power generated from the MHP Coban Jahe Waterfall is 14.0368 kW with an effective head of 3.4742 m. The results show from the financial analysis, the construction of MHP is quite feasible with NPV of Rp. 45,676,769, BCR of 1.0852, which means it is feasible to be continued, the Payback Period is 9 years which does not exceed the project life, and the IRR obtained is 10,0087% which the projects are feasible and profitable to build.

Abstract

CV.   Indah Cemerlang  is a  company  for building material which  produces paving  stone. The company  often  changes  the raw materials composition which is affected  by  cost  of raw materials. Change of  the raw  materials composition  makes  product quality  lower. Therefore, a study should be conducted in order to identify  control factors  influencing on defect responsse by using Responsse  Surface  method. Responsse surface method used in this research consists of two stages. First stage, called orde 1, is dealing with screening and second stage, called orde 2, is dealing with optimization. The result of orde 1 shows that the raw materials composition influencing on defect responsse are cement volume and gray stone. According to the result of second stage, the experiment is conducted to determine optimal amount of raw materials composition. Optimal amount of the raw materials composition are 20 liters of water, 47 kilograms of cement, 120 kilograms of sand, and 10.45 doses of gray stone, with value of defect responsse 5.08%. Applying proposed composition can decrease cost of raw material by Rp 49,33 per pallet and cost of poor quality by 47.60 per week.

Abstract

Recently, lean production has become a major focus of researchers and industry. The zero-waste concept holds an important role in the production process. The aim of this concept is to reduce waste and increase productivity. Wastes have significant negative impacts on the company, one of which is the decrease of company profit. This research aimed to integrate the Lean Six Sigma method with Teorya Resheniya Izobreatatelskikh Zadatch (TRIZ) in order to reduce wastes. These two methods were applied with Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control(DMAIC) methodology. A case study was conducted in a wood manufacturing company. The results of the study suggest that the application of the two methods can significantly reduce the Non-value Added (NVA).

Abstract

Seagrass beds are a wealth of marine resources, one of the ecosystems found in coastal areas, capable of producing various secondary metabolites, and seagrasses are known to contain antibacterial active compounds. The purpose of this study was to determine the antibacterial potential of seagrass extracts from Zone I (large and small Lae-lae Island) and Zone II (Gusung Bone Batang and Barrang Lompo) against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli bacteria. The test method used is the agar diffusion method. The results showed that in Zone I, H. ovalis had an average inhibition of 7.9 mm and E. acoroides had an average inhibition of 8.15 mm, while in Zone II, E. acoroides was 2.5 mm, C Rotundata 1.18 mm, H. uninervis 1.53 mm, T. hemprichii 1.2 mm and H. ovalis 1.73 mm. The highest level of antibacterial activity was in the type of E. acoroides.

Abstract

Kualitas air mempunyai peranan penting dalam meningkatkan laju pertumbuhan dan kehidupan ekosistem laut dan pesisir di perairan akan tetapi seringkali mengalami ketidak stabilan diakibatkan karena perubahan struktur dan tingkat kelimpahan plankton. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji persentasi kelimpahan plankton, dominansi jenis plankton pada lokasi pengamatan dan membandingkan persentasi kelimpahan di muara sungai dan perairan pulau. Sampel plankton kemudian dianalisa untuk komposisi jenis, dan persentasi kelimpahan jenis pada setiap lokasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa komposisi jenis tertinggi di dapatkan di muara sungai Labakkang (0,67%) dan Pangkep (60%), sedangkan persentasi kelimpahan tertinggi didapatkan jenis Chetoceros di muara Labakkang, Barru dan Pangkep sedangkan perairan pulau persentasi kelimpahan plankton jauh lebih rendah dari muara sungai.

Abstract

AbstractMuslim women are the first madrasas to influence the development of children's educational character. This study uses a qualitative approach. The type of research used includes library research. The source used is library data. These sources are in the form of books and scientific journals related to education, the role of Muslim women, and the development of the digital era. Data collection techniques using document review. Although there are some limitations in this research that need to be considered, these findings emphasize the importance of recognizing the role and contribution of Muslim women in educating children's character. They not only provide good examples, but also shape children's morals, provide religious education, provide emotional assistance, and involve domestic skills education. The implications of these findings underscore the importance of paying attention to the role of Muslim women in forming a quality generation and carrying out effective character education.Keywords: Women, Muslimah, Character Education, Children, Digital Era.AbstrakPerempuan muslimah adalah madrasah pertama yang berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan karakter pendidikan anak. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis riset yang digunakan termasuk penelitian kepustakaan. Sumber yang dipakai dari data kepustakaan. Sumber tersebut berupa buku dan jurnal ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan, peran perempuan muslimah serta perkembangan era digital. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan telaah dokumen. Walaupun terdapat beberapa keterbatasan dalam penelitian ini yang perlu diperhatikan, temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya mengakui peran dan kontribusi perempuan Muslimah dalam mendidik karakter anak. Mereka tidak hanya memberikan keteladanan yang baik, tetapi juga membentuk akhlak anak, memberikan pendidikan agama, memberikan pendampingan emosional, dan melibatkan pendidikan keterampilan domestik. Implikasi dari temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya memperhatikan peran perempuan Muslimah dalam membentuk generasi yang berkualitas dan menjalankan pendidikan karakter yang efektif.Kata Kunci: Perempuan, Muslimah, Pendidikan Karakter, Anak, Era Digital.

Abstract

PT. Yamaha Music Manufacturing Indonesia (YMMI) merupakan perusahaan manufaktur asal Jepang yang bergerak dalam bidang penghasil alat musik, yang memproduksi alat musik gitar elektrik maupun akustik. PT. YMMI tengah menghadapi suatu permasalahan yang berhubungan dengan produk yang diluar standar mutu yang telah ditetapkan, adapun kendala yang masih di hadapi PT. YMMI yaitu banyaknya temuan cacat fungsi suara pada material volume pot di Departemen Electric Guitar (EG), yaitu sebesar 0,034 DPU (Defect Per Unit), sehingga masalah tersebut dapat menurunkan tingkat produktifitas. Diperlukan suatu cara yang dapat mengurangi jumlah temuan material volume pot pada cacat fungsi suara di Departemen EG. Adapun cara yang dilakukan adalah melakukan implementasi perbaikan dengan menerapkan PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Action), yang akan dilakukan terlebih dahulu yaitu melakukan pengumpulan data dengan observasi lapangan selama 25 hari kerja, menentukan prioritas utama masalah dengan diagram pareto, kemudian dilakukan analisa penyebab cacat dengan focus group discussion dan diagram sebab akibat. Tahapan 5W1H yang akan memudahkan penelitian dalam menemukan solusi perbaikan. Proses pengolahan data dalam pemecahan masalah akan lebih mudah dengan adanya dukungan QC 7 Tools. Hasil evaluasi dari implementasi perbaikan ini adalah menurunnya temuan cacat fungsi suara dari 0,034 DPU menjadi 0,002, serta menurunnya cacat fungsi suara dominan yaitu suara noise dari 0,021 DPU menjadi 0 dan suara error 0,009 DPU menjadi 0,002. Dan terjadi peningkatan kapabilitas proses dari 0,71 menjadi 1,02. Setelah dilakukan implementasi perbaikan faktor mesin, metode, manusia dan material serta memperbaiki work instruction pemeriksaan material volume pot.
