Abstract

The research to investigate the characteristic of aquifer using the 2D-geoelectrical resistivity method has been done in the iron ore prospect area of Nusawungu West Coastal, Cilacap Regency. The background of the research is the abundant potential of iron sand in this village which prospects are exploited. The 2D-resistivity data acquisition was carried out in March – April 2018 in four locations determined based on the prospect zone of iron ore from the local magnetic anomaly map of the research area. Based on the results of modeling and interpreting resistivity data, the potential of iron ore in the research area is quite large. In each trajectory of measurement, sand was found which was interpreted to contain iron ore with resistivity values ranging from 21.7 – 56.7 Ωm. The sand containing iron ore is also the main medium of the shallow groundwater aquifer layer in the research area. The characteristics of aquifers in the research area are quite good where the condition of the residents' well water is abundant, does not taste salty, has never experienced drought even during the dry season, but is thought to contain iron (Fe). If the exploitation of iron sand is carried out on a large scale, it will result in reduced sand and other rocks making up aquifers. As a result the function of aquifers in storing and flowing groundwater in the research area has decreased.

Abstract

Pasir besi merupakan salah satu sumberdaya alam yang terdapat di wilayah Indonesia, khususnya di kawasan pesisir Pulau Jawa. Pasir besi merupakan bahan baku yang memiliki peran penting bagi dunia industri, seperti industri baja, transportasi, pertahanan, properti, dan peralatan lainnya. Salah satu kawasan yang prospek pasir besi adalah Pesisir Desa Pagubugan, Kecamatan Binangun, Kabupaten Cilacap, Jawa Tengah. Survei Geofisika dengan metode geolistrik resistivitas di Pesisir Desa Pagubugan telah dilakukan untuk mengetahui sebaran dan kedalaman lapisan pasir besi, pada bulan Januari – Juni 2019. Konfigurasi elektroda yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah dipole-dipole. Akuisisi data dilakukan pada tiga lintasan dengan panjang masing-masing lintasan sebesar 200 meter. Hasil pengolahan dan interpretasi data resistivitas menggunakan software Res2dinv 3.54 menunjukan bahwa batuan bawah permukaan di daerah penelitian terdiri atas empat lapisan; yaitu pasir, lanau, kerikil, dan kerakal yang berselingan dengan butiran bijih besi dengan nilai resistivitas berkisar >28,3 – >43,4 Ωm, endapan pasir besi dengan nilai resistivitas berkisar 20,1 – 43,4 Ωm, lempung pasiran dengan nilai resistivitas berkisar 10,1 – 26,0 Ωm, serta pasir lempungan dengan nilai resistivitas berkisar 5,10 –15,5 Ωm. Secara umum lapisan pasir besi tersebar merata di seluruh lintasan, dimana pasir besi diperkirakan berada pada lapisan kedua dengan kedalaman berkisar 8,5 – 13,5 meter

Abstract

Eksplorasi geofisika untuk mengestimasi potensi pasir besi di pesisir barat Kecamatan Nusawungu Kabupaten Cilacap telah dilakukan pada bulan Mei – Juli 2017 menggunakan metode geolistrik resistivitas. Pengukuran data resistivitas dilakukan di 6 titik lokasi yang diperkirakan prospek mengandung bijih besi berdasarkan peta anomali magnetik lokal daerah penelitian yang membentang pada posisi geografis 109,3143° – 109,3445°BT dan 7,6908° – 7,7091°LS. Survei geolistrik resistivitas bertujuan untuk memperkirakan kedalaman dan ketebalan endapan pasir besi serta potensinya. Berdasarkan hasil pemodelan dan interpretasi data resistivitas diperoleh endapan pasir besi yang berselingan dengan lanau dan lempung dari formasi alluvium di seluruh titik lokasi. Endapan pasir besi ini memiliki nilai resistivitas 12,24 – 46,96 Ωm dan kedalaman berkisar 2,39 – 27,81 meter. Berdasarkan hasil eksplorasi menggunakan metode geolistrik resistivitas, potensi pasir besi di kawasan pesisir barat Kecamatan Nusawungu Kabupaten Cilacap diperkirakan cukup besar

Abstract

Geophysical exploration to determine the potential of iron sand in the Pagubugan Village and Pagubugan Kulon Village areas, District of Binangun, Regency of Cilacap has been carried out from May to August 2018 using the magnetic method. The acquisition of magnetic data has been done in the research area at the geographical position stretching from 109.2988° E to 109.31892° E and 7.68430° S to 7.70402° S. Morphologically, the research location is the part of the eastern coastal in the district of Binangun. The results of the modeling and interpretation of magnetic anomaly data that obtained indicate the presence of rock deposite which thought to contain iron ore which intersects with clay, silt, sand, gravel, and crust from the Alluvium formation with a magnetic susceptibility value of 0.0094 cgs units. This rock deposite is estimated to lie at a depth of 0 to 53 meters and stretches at the geographical position from 109.30981° E and 7.69264° S to 109.31787 °E and 7.69575° S.

Abstract

Survei geolistrik resistivitas dengan konfigurasi Schlumberger telah dilakukan untuk menduga kedalaman lapisan akuifer air tanah di Desa Srowot Kecamatan Kalibagor Kabupaten Banyumas. Akuisisi data dilakukan di enam titik sounding, yaitu titik SR-1, SR-2, SR-3, SR-4, SR-5, dan SR-6 dengan panjang bentangan 200 m. Hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa lapisan akuifer di daerah penelitian terdiri atas akuifer tertekan, akuifer bebas, dan akuifer semi tertekan. Akuifer tertekan terdapat di titik SR-1 berupa pasir berbutir halus (2,36 Ωm) pada kedalaman lebih dari 19,58 m. Adapun akuifer bebas dan/atau akuifer semi tertekan terdapat pada titik SR-2, SR-3, SR-4, SR-5, dan SR-6. Pada titik SR-2, lapisan akuifer berupa lempung pasiran (13,90 Ωm) dengan kedalaman 10,62-22,61 m. Pada titik SR-3, lapisan akuifer berupa lempung pasiran agak mampat (56,80 Ωm) dan lempung pasiran (15,70 Ωm) pada kedalaman 10,04-22,44 m dan lebih dari 50,04 m. Pada titik SR-4, lapsian akuifer berupa pasir berbutir sedang (6,91 Ωm) pada kedalaman lebih dari 64,40 m. Pada titik SR-5, lapisan akuifer berupa pasir lempungan (4,79 Ωm) pada kedalaman 2,74−25,04 m dan pasir berbutir halus (2,82 Ωm) pada kedalaman lebih dari 46,64 m. Sedangkan pada titik SR-6, lapisan akuifer berupa pasir lempungan (19,00 Ωm) pada kedalaman 9,29−22,60 m serta pasir berbutir halus (2,70 Ωm) pada kedalaman lebih dari 46,60 m.

Abstract

The estimation of the distribution of the sea water intrusion through the rivers in Ujungmanik Village, Kawunganten District, Cilacap Regency has been carried out using the Wenner configuration resistivity geoelectric. This research aims to estimate the distribution of sea water intrusion through rivers in Ujungmanik Village, Kawunganten District, Cilacap Regency based on geoelectric resistivity and conductivity data of groundwater. The geoelectric data acquisition was carried out on four lines. They were Wen1 Line, Wen2 Line, Wen3 Line, and Wen4 Line. Each line had a range of 200 meters. The results of geoelectric data processing showed that the subsurface rock structure consisted of sand, clay, sandy loam, and sandy clay. The Seawater intrusion shown by the sand layer occurred in all trajectories which had a range of resistivity value of 0.20 - 2.79 Ωm. Groundwater samples was carried out at fifteen points with the conductivity value varies between 1363 - 4145 µS / cm so that they can be classified that the water was fresh and brackish due to the sampling done in the rainy season. From this research it can be implied that the entire Ujungmanik area is evenly intruded by the sea water at the coordinates 7º38ꞌ15.62ꞌꞌLS 108°57ꞌ20.89ꞌꞌBT to 7º39ꞌ22.86ꞌꞌLS 108º56ꞌ35.33ꞌꞌBT.

Abstract

Penelitian menggunakan metode geolistrik resisitivitas telah dilakukan untuk mengetahui struktur batuan bawah permukaan serta potensi air tanah di Desa Darmakradenan Kecamatan Ajibarang Kabupaten Banyumas. Konfigurasi yang digunakan pada metode ini adalah konfigurasi Schlumberger sebanyak lima lintasan dengan panjang masing-masing 200 m. Hasil pemodelan secara inversi telah menghasilkan log resistivitas yang terdiri atas enam lapisan batuan bawah permukaan. Lapisan-lapisan batuan tersebut diinterpretasi sebagai tanah penutup dengan nilai resistivitas sebesar 206.8 – 1204.92 Ωm, batukapur dengan nilai resistivitas sebesar 767.51 – 1563.65 Ωm, kerikil dan pasir dengan nilai resistivitas sebesar 270.84 Ωm, lempung dengan nilai resistivitas sebesar 319.39 – 473.97 Ωm, batupasir gampingan dengan nilai resistivitas sebesar 17.22 Ωm, dan napal dengan nilai resistivitas sebesar 814.17 – 982.94 Ωm. Potensi sumber air tanah diperkirakan hanya terdapat di titik S-L1 dan S-L2 yang merupakan lapisan batupasir gampingan dengan nilai resitivitas 17.22 – 47.02 Ωm pada kedalaman 11.80 – 70.00 m dan diinterpretasi sebagai akuifer dangkal

Abstract

Pekuncen Village, Jatilawang District is one of the villages in Banyumas Regency which often experiences drought in the dry season. Exploration to obtain the groundwater sources needs to be done, especially to estimate the depth of the aquifer. The chosen exploration method was resistivity geoelectric using vertical sounding technique. Resistivity data acquisition is carried out on 3 trajectories with the length of the 1st and 3rd trajectories are 200 m, and the 2nd trajectory is 240 m. The sounding point on the 2nd trajectory was drilled, where rock samples were taken at every 5 m depth. The rock samples obtained were correlated with the resistivity data interpretation results, including the type and thickness of each depth. The aquifer in the research area consisted of two parts, namely unconfined aquifer and confined aquifer. The unconfined aquifer at the first sounding point is located at 6.80 – 34.38 m depth, the second sounding point at 7.00 – 28.89 m depth, and the third sounding point at 4.39 – 31.39 m depth. Then the confined aquifer at the first sounding point is located at less than 48.24 m depth, the second sounding point at less than 47.22 m depth, and the third sounding point at less than 47.36 m depth. The correlation between the resistivity data interpretation results at the second sounding point and the drill log data shows a slight difference in rock types and thickness. The difference of the rock types due to the drilling data interpretation results which divides the sand in the confined aquifers into fine, medium, and coarse grained sand. The difference of confined aquifer depth after being correlated is less than 2 m depth.Keywords: Aquifer, geoelectric survey, resistivity data, drill, Pekuncen, Banyumas.
