Abstract

PT. GMF Aero Asia is Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO). The Cabin Maintenance Unit (Furnishing Service and Uphostery) is responsible for work related to the interior area of the aircraft. Included in the component is the Passenger Seat. Cabin Maintenance Office at GMF in performing maintenance services which have several different types of problems, namely in terms of billing to customers there are two indicators, including material, manpower and man hours. The company has an old system, the SAP 2010 series, where all work processes cannot be covered so it requires several additional applications. In response to this, the company provides a new system that can make all data analysis in one application. The system has been used by several airlines throughout the world. Namely the latest SAP with the name SWIFT SAP Enterprise, but the new system is not running without problems. Because basically the use of SWIFT SAP Enterprises which refers to the applicable maintenance manual is very inflexible as well as a lot of actual time in the field that is not counted in billing. In this case, improvements will be made by comparing the application of one of the principles of Time Motion Study to the system used by PT. GMF Aero Asia recently. All aspects will be examined so that the best results can be known. The questionnaire will also be distributed before and after the application of the method. So that it can be seen from all aspects related not only production but all supporting staff who are in the Maintenance area. The research will also solve the problem of both the general aspects of the unit's production and finance as a whole for one year. So that it can be known with certainty the advantages and disadvantages that occur during the treatment process. After all the analysis was done, it was found that there were some deficiencies that occurred in the SAP Enterprises system, where a lot of profit was lost from the maintenance process that occurred. So there are several alternatives that can be taken by Cabin Base Maintenance shop units. Alternatives taken include making rearranging work hours based on actual time with the draft that has been made. Arranging training schedules for employees regarding the Swift system in accordance with their work area. And counseling about financial issues related to the flow of work in the Workshop Seat Cabin maintenance area. Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, many patterns of change in activities that were once normal have turned into virtual activities. One of them is the work from home system experienced by workers and the online learning system that occurs among students. Behind virtual activities like this, of course, they have to do long activities by staring at the laptop screen and need a laptop table to support this virtual activity. The use of inappropriate and non-ergonomic desks when working or studying from home can cause fatigue (fatigue) in some of the user's skeletal muscles. This research was conducted in order to be an innovative initiative and idea for the design of an ergonomic table design, functionality according to the needs and desires of its users, especially during a pandemic as it is today with its method approach, namely QFD and anthropometric suitability. The process of collecting data using a questionnaire, analyzing the data by determining percentiles, testing the validity, reliability, adequacy and uniformity of the data, then processed by HOQ analysis. The design of the resulting table product is a table with a design that can reduce musculoskeletal complaints, can be used for a sitting position or on a chair. The dimensions of this table are 70 cm long, 44 cm wide, 39 cm high when used on a bench and 68 cm maximum when sitting on a chair. In addition, this table also has additional features for drinking water insulation, book storage drawers, cooling pad holes, charger sockets and the table is easy to move because the table legs have wheels

Abstract

PT. UJT is an Engineering services company, Mechanical and Electrical Construction. In the process almost all office work uses a computer as its main device. This study was conducted to determine the relationship of subjective complaints of eye fatigue to the level of lighting of computer users at PT. UJT, as well as obtaining the proposed lighting design according to the standard. This type of research is descriptive correlational. The sample in this study was determined by purpose sampling, with the results of 40 computer user workers. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires and measuring local lighting levels at the work desk. The results showed that the intensity of lighting at work tables of 34 computer users (85%) was categorized as bad because <300 lux or> 500 lux and 29 people (72.5%) computer user workers experienced subjective complaints of eye fatigue. The Chi Square Test statistical test results showed a significant relationship between the level of lighting with subjective complaints of eye fatigue, where in the degree of significance of 5%, the P value = 0.039 was obtained. Proposed lighting improvements are carried out by changing the armature height of room B lights according to room A. To achieve the target of lighting intensity of 400 lux, an additional 11 units of armature are needed and a replacement unit with MAS LED tube 1200mm UO 16Watt 865 T8 2500 lumen.Keywords: Eye Fatigue, Lighting Intensity, Chi Square Test, Lighting Design, Office PT. UJT Indonesia(PT. UJT merupakan perusahaan jasa Engineering, Konstruksi Mekanikal dan Elektrikal. Didalam prosesnya hampir seluruh pekerjaan kantor menggunakan komputer sebagai perangkat utamanya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan keluhan kelelahan mata dengan tingkat pencahayaan pengguna komputer di PT. UJT, serta memberikan usulan desain pencahayaan sesuai standar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelasional. Sampel pada penelitian ini ditentukan dengan cara purpose sampling, dengan hasil 40 pekerja pengguna komputer. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner dan melakukan pengukuran tingkat pencahayaan lokal di meja kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intensitas pencahayaan pada meja kerja 34 orang pengguna komputer (85%) dikategorikan buruk karena < 300 lux atau > 500 lux  dan 29 orang (72,5%) pekerja pengguna komputer mengalami keluhan kelelahan mata. Hasil pengujian statistik Chi Square Testmenunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pencahayaan dengan keluhan kelelahan mata, dimana pada derajat kemaknaan 5% di dapatkan nilai P value = 0,039. Usulan perbaikan pencahayaan dilakukan dengan merubah ketinggian armatur lampu ruangan B sesuai dengan ruangan A. Untuk mencapai target intensiatas pencahyaan sebesar 400 lux, diperlukan penambahan jumlah armatur sebanyak 12 unit dan penggantian unit lampu dengan tipe MAS LED tube 1200mm UO 16 Watt 865 T8 2500 lumen.Kata Kunci: Kelelahan Mata, Intensitas Pencahayaan, Chi Square Test, Desain Pencahayaan,   Kantor PT.
