Abstract

The very rapid development of the use of social media has touched the government sector. It is hoped that the use of social media can connect public officials and the community to be able to support the implementation of better governance. This research was conducted to analyze the characteristics of social media. The results of this study indicate that the characteristics of social media in Makassar City are based on an analysis of the Kominfo social media accounts, it is found that the content data on the Kominfo social media is homogeneous. There are three types of Social Media for the Makassar City Communication and Information Service, namely Facebook with the account name of the Makassar City KOMINFO Service, Twitter with the DISKOMINFO MAKASSAR account name, and the type of social media Instagram with three account names, namely lalinmks, callcentre112mks and Diskominfomks.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengatasi masalah mitra yang sedang berkembang di Manongkoki yaitu pemahaman tentang kewirausahaan, yang meliputi aspek produksi, manajemen bisnis, sistem pemasaran dan fasilitas infrastruktur yang tidak memadai. Ibu-Ibu Petani Jagung Manongkoki merupakan ibu-ibu yang memiliki lahan dan tanaman jagung yang luas dan banyak, dan aktivitas keseharian dihabiskan dirumah hanya sebagai Ibu Rumah Tangga. IbuIbu Petani Jagung Pulut dipilih sebagai mitra PKM mengingat Sumber Daya Alam berupa Jagung Pulut yang dimiliki melipah ruah namun belum mampu diolah menjadi suatu produk yang bernilai jual tinggi. Ketersediaan bahan baku, waktu dan tempat ini dipandang sudah sebagai modal besar, sehingga melalui kegiatan ini kebutuhan lainnya berupa alat produksi serta media pemasaran sebagai pelengkap akan disediakan oleh tim pengabdian masyarakat. Metode yang dilakukan adalah community development melalui kegiatan penyuluhan dan pendampingan pembuatan jagung pulut (jagung berlilin) menjadi penganan jagung pulut (jagung berlilin). Hasil yang diperoleh selama implementasi dari aspek produksi, kelompok bulosibatang memahami manfaat besar tanaman jagung pulut (jagung berlilin) melalui kegiatan penyuluhan yang dilakukan, mengetahui cara mengolah jagung pulut (jagung berlilin) yang dapat ditingkatkan nilainya. Mitra sudah memahami cara yang benar dari aspek manajemen bisnis keuangan dan pemasaran, publik menghasilkan penganan jagung pulut (jagung lilin) yang siap dipasarkan dengan sistem pengemasan yang dapat menarik konsumen. Fasilitas pendukung untuk kegiatan juga diberikan kepada mitra.

Abstract

Tourism in Indonesia continues to be managed seriously by the Indonesian government in order to improve and develop tourism objects in Indonesia with the aim and purpose of none other than increasing the number of tourist visits from both foreign and domestic tourists. Tourism in Indonesia itself is managed by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism which has the branding "Wonderful Indonesia" which is intended for foreign tourists and "Pesona Indonesia" which is aimed at domestic tourists. Pesona Indonesia on YouTube uses a digital campaign that is supported by the use of endorsements in the form of artists or vloggers to increase audience interest, whether watching videos on YouTube or taking trips. Tourism is one of the potential fields in terms of the development of a country, this is because tourism is considered capable of having a positive impact as a driver of people's economic activities. The most positive impact is that tourism plays an important role as a driver of economic growth and prosperity in terms of development in an area. Makassar City itself has a variety of tourism potential, ranging from natural, cultural, and artificial tourism to special interest tours, that's why many local and foreign tourists visit Makassar City. One of them is a historical heritage tourist attraction, namely Fort Rotterdam. The Cultural Conservation Preservation Center (BPCB) is a technical implementing unit of the Ministry of Education and Culture in the field of cultural heritage preservation which is under and responsible to the Director General of Culture. BPCB is in charge of protecting, developing, and utilizing cultural heritage and suspected cultural heritage in its working area. BPCB South Sulawesi as the management unit of Fort Rotterdam must know very well how to disseminate information about cultural sites, especially in the digital era. The main factor that must be considered to increase interest in visiting is to formulate and implement a targeted communication strategy, because the key to all human activities is communication, and strategy is the right way to deal with all these activities in order to achieve goals and remove obstacles. resolve. Although there are many tourist attractions in Makassar, if foreign tourists do not know this information, they will not be able to enjoy the development of tourism. This study uses descriptive qualitative research, using observation and interviews as data collection techniques. The data analysis process is carried out by examining all available data from various sources, namely observations, interviews, personal documents, and official documents. Then check the validity of the data using data triangulation and technical triangulation. The results show that the communication strategy of the South Sulawesi Cultural Heritage Preservation Center uses four stages, namely introducing the audience to determine the target of the communication strategy to be carried out, compiling messages, using informative and repetition methods, and utilizing the media as a means of disseminating information through Public Service and Publication Working Group. Supporting and inhibiting factors are also factors that affect the effectiveness of the communication strategy of the South Sulawesi Cultural Heritage Preservation Center.

Abstract

The increasing cases of Indonesian cultural claims by Malaysia make the government through the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur will increase efforts to promote Indonesian culture in Malaysia through various political communication strategies. The promotion of Indonesian culture is carried out to introduce the richness of Indonesian culture to the Malaysian people, and to increase understanding and tolerance between the two countries in terms of culture as well as the process towards cultural registration to UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. This study aims to analyze the form of Political Communication of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) Kuala Lumpur in the Promotion of Indonesian Culture in Malaysia, and identify the Political Communication of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia Kuala Lumpur can improve the Promotion of Indonesian Culture in Malaysia. The results showed that in conducting cultural promotion, political communication can help the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur in influencing the perceptions and views of the Malaysian people towards Indonesian culture. The form of political communication of the Indonesian Embassy in Malaysia is by meeting with the Malaysian government directly, organizing cultural festivals, using Malaysian media as publications and promotions using social media. With the help of various elements such as the Indonesian people, government agencies and the Malaysian government itself can increase the promotion of Indonesian culture in Malaysia
