Abstract

The research objective was to determine the preferences panel of three clones of potato seed tubers G1 namely A5, PAS3063, PAS3064 and Granola and Atlantic cultivars as comparison varieties, as well as to determine levels of starch, sugar and water content. Based on the results of Kruskal Wallis test for flavor and texture parameters on the tuberswere not significantly different cooking shows, while the aroma and color were significantly different between clones / cultivars. Panelists on the test results for the parameters of boiled tubers taste, texture, aroma and color looks significantly different between clones / cultivars. Analysis of variance was significantly different levels of tuber starch content, sugar contentand moisture content. Gerombol analysis based on the preferences panel of taste, texture, aroma and color in fried and boiled potatoes indicate that the resemblance is closer to A5 Granola with similarity percentage of more than 54.76% and Atlantic closer resemblance to the PAS3063 and PAS3064 with similarity percentage of more than 77.38% .

Abstract

One of the important disease on potato late blight disease is caused by a fungus Phythopthora infestans (Mont.) de Bery. Damage by leaf blight disease can lead to decrease in the yield between 10-100%. The purpose of this study is to get 27 new varieties of potato clone accession numbers from crosses that have resistance to leaf blight disease Phythopthora infestans (Mont.) de Bery. Design Randomized trial method using group, treatment consisted of 27 clones of potato varieties from crosses with three comparators are Granola, Atlantic and Jasper. Was repeated twice. The results showed that the magnitude of the intensity of the attack on the last observation is converted to the level of resistance is known from 27 potato clones from crosses that were tested, there were six resistant clones that include the PT-04, AP-03, PT-03, AP-04, AP-07 and PT-02 with disease incidence between 9.70 to 18.33%, the four clones is somewhat resistant clone PT-01, PT-06, AP-08 and AP-02 with disease incidence between 20.48 to 37.50 %, while the other clones is somewhat fragile and susceptible to disease Phythopthora infestans (Mont.) de Bery.Salah satu penyakit penting pada kentang adalah penyakit hawar daun yang disebabkan oleh jamur Phythopthora infestans (Mont.) de Bery. Kerusakan oleh penyakit hawar daun ini dapat mengakibatkan penurunan hasil antara 10-100%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan varietas baru dari 27 nomor aksesi klon kentang hasil persilangan yang memiliki ketahanan terhadap penyakit hawar daun Phythopthora infestans (Mont.) de Bery. Metode percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK), perlakuan terdiri dari 27 klon kentang hasil persilangan dengan tiga varietas pembanding yaitu Granola, Atlantik dan Jasper. Diulang sebanyak dua kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari besarnya intensitas serangan pada pengamatan terakhir yang dikonversikan ketingkat ketahanan diketahui dari 27 klon kentang hasil persilangan yang diuji, terdapat enam klon yang termasuk resisten yaitu PT-04, AP-03, PT-03, AP-04, AP-07 dan PT-02 dengan kejadian penyakit antara 9,70-18,33 %, empat klon agak resisten yaitu klon PT- 01, PT-06, AP-08 dan AP-02 dengan kejadian penyakit antara 20,48-37,50 %, sedangkan klon lainnya agak rentan dan rentan terhadap penyakit Phythopthora infestans (Mont.) de Bery.Keywords: resistance, Phythopthora infestans (Mont.) de Bery, potato clone.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to investigate the phenotypic performances as qualitative of three potato clones resulted from protoplasm fusion (A5) and two clones from seeds(PAS3063 and PAS3064) which had been identified to be resistant to bacterial wilt disease (Ralstonia solanacearum). The commercial potato varieties (Granola and Atlantic)were used as a comparison varieties. All five varieties were produced from mini tuber G0. The result of qualitative performance that more prominent were on A5 clonewith the characters that the branch was red, tuber skin was purple/violet and it could produce the bloom. Meanwhile, the branch of another clone was green, tuber skin wasyellow/brown, and it could not produce the bloom, except PAS3064 clone and Atlantic even though it was not much. The color of fruit flesh was white except on Granola whichwas yellow. The result of cluster analysis that based on the character from each plant showed that PAS3064 was closed to Atlantic variety characteristic, PAS3063 was closed to Granola variety, and A5 different from both commercial varieties.

Abstract

Kebun Agromedika Hamboro (Kamaro) is cultivation of medicinal plants demonstration farm (demfarm), especially rhizome plants. The purpose of this research is to identify the internal conditions (strengths and weaknesses) and external (opportunities and threats) Kamaro and to provide alternative strategies that can be applied in the development of educational tourism Kamaro as a garden of medicinal plants. Theresults showed that the IFE matrix that became a major force Kamaro factors include the product being offered is a useful medicinal plants for health, while its main weakness is a condition of the garden is not good. The results showed that EFE matrix is a major opportunity Kamaro factor is the development of science and technology so as to incrase business transactions, while the threat factor is climate and weather nature conditions are unpredictable. Based on the IE matrix results, Kamaro puts on depicting V cells in the internal conditions of the average and Kamaro response to external factors faced by relatively moderate. The strategy can be implemented is to preserve and maintain, an alternative strategy that many do is market penetration and product development. Results of the SWOT matrix are obtained seven alternative strategies. The results matrix QSP is obtained main strategic priority to improve the management system such as increase farm productivity, post-harvest handling, gardensanitation and magnificence, administration and finance and others.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to collect and analyze data for composing Agro Technology Park model based on energy crops as regional development instrument of Baron Technology Park. Data analysis method conducted by using planning framework approach or Gold (1980) supply analysis and data collecting through Focus Group Discussion. The concept of Baron Agro Technology Park is an integrated agricultural model which produce energy crop as raw material for biofuel, biodiesel and biogas. It can also be used as edu-agrotourism that provide knowledge/education on culture, post harvest, processing and utilization of energy crops. Agro Technology Park design based on energy crops agrotourism that suitable with culture technical requirement, function and aestethic value would give comfort, satisfaction and good impression from the tourists without damaging research and culture of energy crops.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data dalam rangka menyusun konsep model Taman Teknologi Agro berbasis agrowisata tanaman energi sebagai instrumen pengembangan wilayah Taman Teknologi Baron. Metode analisis data melalui pendekatan kerangka kerja perencanaan atau analisis suplai Gold (1980) dan pengumpulan data melalui diskusi kelompok terarah. Konsep Taman Teknologi Agro Baron merupakan suatu tempat mengembangkan model pertanian terpadu yang menghasilkan tanaman energi sebagai sumber bahan baku nabati penghasil biofuel, biodiesel dan biogas, sekaligus dijadikan sebagai agrowisata edukatif yang dapat memberikan pengetahuan/edukasi kepada masyarakat tentang kegiatan budidaya, pasca panen, pengolahan produk serta profil tanaman energi dan pemanfaatannya. Penataan ATP berbasis agrowisata tanaman energi yang sesuai persyaratan teknis budidaya, fungsi dan nilai estetika, akan memberikan kemudahan, kenyamanan, kepuasan dan kesan positif bagi rekreasi pengunjung, tanpa harus mengganggu riset dan budidaya juga merusak tanaman energinya.Keywords: Renewable Energy, Agro Techno Park, Energy Crops agro tourism.
