Abstract

Kelurahan Tegal Sari III Kecamatan Medan Area, khusunya warga Lingkungan II dan Lingkungan IIImerupakan kelurahan yang terletak di Kecamatan Medan Area Kota Medan. Daerah ini merupakan salah satu pemukiman padat penduduk yang berada pusat kota, dan tingkat pendapatan masyarakat menengah ke bawah.Lebih dari 70% masyarakatnya berprofesi sebagai buruh harian lepas dan membuka usaha konvesi skala kecil-menengah.  Jumlah penduduk Kelurahan Tegal Sari III ± 8337 jiwa. Karakteristik penduduk terbanyak dengan usia > 60 tahun yaitu sebanyak lebih dari 1000 jiwa. Namun, akibat adanya wabah covid-19 banyak warga yang tidak mempunyai pekerjaan lagi sehingga berdampak pada ketidakmampuan warga untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup keluarganya dan tak dapat mengandalkan apapun selain bantuan dari pemerintah untuk bertahan hidup. Penerapan budikdamber sebagai pengembangan dari system akuaponik diharapkan mampu sebagai upaya ketahanan pangan bagi warga yang kesusahan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup keluarga dan sebagai sarana untuk mengasah kemampuan dalam melakukan usaha budidaya ikan dan sayur-sayuran. Sosialisasi dilakukan dengan cara menyampaikan materi tentang budikdamber yang akan diikuti oleh warga Kelurarahan Tegal sari III Kecamatan Medan Area yang terkena dampak Covicd-19 . Metode yang dilakukan ialah dengan cara demonstrasi mengenai budikdamber yang di damping oleh tim dosen dan mahasiswa serta akan meyerahkan rakitan budikdamber beserta bibit sayuran dan ikan lele.

Abstract

One of the Tridarma of Higher Education is community service which is usually outlined in the Real Work Lecture program every year. In 2020 the focus of KKN activities is on preventing the spread of Coronavirus which causes respiratory tract infections in humans. The spread of the virus is getting faster in Indonesia, but there is still a lack of understanding and awareness from the community in Pardamean Village, Sorkam District, Central Tapanuli Regency. Therefore there is a need to increase understanding of the Coronavirus and preventive measures, one of the steps to prevent it is to carry out the Healthy Living Community Movement (Germas). Based on this, a socialization on Coronavirus and Germas was held as a small step to prevent Coronavirus to the people of Pardamean Village. In addition to the socialization, there was also a ban on and spraying of disinfectants in the village environment and conducting exercise activities in the morning. This activity was successfully carried out by seeing the enthusiasm of the community in participating in the Germas socialization and applying it in their daily lives

Abstract

Quality university is a university which is able to create the quality students and lectures, so that it can effect to influence it accreditation. The university in globalization era must based on quality, on condition in making the university parcitipated in service activity as well as developed superiority human resource.            Hence, we have done the research toward 10 subjects which had taken by Mathematics students in State University of Medan. This research took 10 compulsory subjects which had been taking from Mathematics students. This research including field research using Quisioner method as a collect data tool. The support theory is controlling concept statistic quality touching about peta control attribute p-chart and np-chart.            From those 10 subjects we can conclude that the subjects is divided in several easy, medium and difficult categories, the easiest subject gained 0%. The medium subjects are Statistics 66%, Discrete Mathematics I 64%, Controlling Quality 70%, Regression Analysis and Correlation 68%, Numeric Method 68%, Geometry Analytic 76%, Calculus Multivariabel I 76%,  Macro and Micro Economics 74%, thus the difficult subjects are Real Analysis 82%. According to research result noticed that the biggest failure gaining from final results from 10 subjects is 16,2%. The main factors are: 1) Lecture influences, 2) The difficulty of Material, 3) Students ability, 4) Students presence. Key words: Attribute map bridle,  P-Chart, the rate difficult subjects.  ABSTRAK Universitasberkualitasadalahuniversitas yang dapatmelahirkanmahasiswadandosenyang  berkualitas pula,sehinggadapatmempengaruhikualitasakreditaskampustersebut.Perguruan tinggi di Era globalisasi harus berbasis pada mutu, bagaimana perguruan tinggi dalam kegiatan jasa pendidikan maupun pengembangan sumber daya manusia memiliki keunggulan-keunggulan. Maka dari itu kami melakukan penelitian terhadap 10 mata kuliah yang telah diambil oleh mahasiswa di Prodi  MatematikaUnimed. Penelitianini mengambil sampel 10 mata kuliahyang wajib di ambilolehmahasiswa di Prodi Matematika.Penelitianiniberupafield researchdenganmetodeQuisionersebagaialatpengumpulan data.Adapunteoripendukung yang digunakanadalahkonseppengendaliankualitas statistic yang membahastentangpetakendaliatribut p-chart dannp-chart.Dari 10 mata kuliah tersebut didapatkan bahwa mata kuliah terbagi dalam beberapa kategori yaitu mudah, sedang dan sulit, Mata kuliah yang termasuk mudah 0%. Mata kuliah yang termasuk sedang yaitu : Statistik Matematika 66%,Matematika Diskrit I 64%,Persamaan Differensial I  64%, Pengendalian Kualitas 70%, Analisis Regresi dan Korelasi 68%, Metode Numerik 68%, Geometri analitik 76%, Kalkulus Peubah banyak I 76%, Pengantar Ekonomi Makro dan Mikro 74%,   sedangkan Mata kuliah yang termasuk sulit  yaitu Analisis Real 82%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa besarnya kegagalan yang didapat dari hasil akhir pada 10 mata kuliah adalah 16,2%. Faktor penyebab kegagalan :1) pengaruh dosen 2) kesulitan materi 3) kemampuan mahasiswa 4) kehadiran mahasiswa. Kata kunci : Peta Kendali Atribut , P-Chart, Tingkat Kesulitan Mata Kuliah

Abstract

The profile data of the educational process at the Department of Mathematics UNIMED indicates that the student repeat and failure is still high, especially in the advanced course. In Descrete Mathematics I student I know graduation percentage in 2005 s / d 2007 that the obtained value of A is still low at 17%, the value of B is 39%, 7% gained grade C and 37% to obtain the value of E. One indication that causes this problem is a lack of communication skills and creative thinking mathematically finish its students for a problem that is already supported by some of the concepts that have been previously known. If the issue is offered at the level theorem proving, students should begin where complete confusion. Moreover, at the level of analyzing problems, synthesizing questions, solve problems, and evaluate the matter. The main objective of this research is to improve the skills of teachers in applying the model on a subject, in particular whether the application of the method of high-level questions in subjects Descrete Mathematics I can improve mathematical communication and creative thinking students, this study included classroom action research. Based on action research results obtained, for the participation of students found that students who perform activities such as participation in rubric is the score 1-5 contained 86%. Spike 77.7% overall. To obtain 86% graduation rate or 31 people from 36 students. And from the interviews found that 94% of the students or 34 people out of 36 people found the applied learning method was appropriate and suitable researchers in an effort to improve the communication of mathematical thinking and creativity of students.

Abstract

The government policy in March 2020 regarding the application of online learning has significant changes in the learning process on campus. One of them is by changing teaching materials from textbooks to e-books, which is a must as a form of adjustment related to campus conditions that implement full online learning using LMS SIPDA. The objectives of this study are: (1) Producing an interactive e-book on basics statistics based on Realistic Mathematics assisted by the SIPDA LMS developed by using a valid and practical Kvisoft Flipbook Maker (2) To determine the effectiveness of the e-book Basics of Statistics in improving student problem-solving abilities. This type of research is Research and Development with the ADDIE development model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. E-book development using the Kvisoft Flipbook Maker Application. The results of the e-book development at the needs analysis stage showed that 85% of students needed integrated learning media. SIPDA integrated e-books can increase student attendance and activities by 60%. At the product design stage, the e-book in the form of a word file is converted into a PDF file and then developed using Kvisoft Flipbook Maker by adding videos, images, and other files. The e-book is validated with a validity rate of 92% by material experts and 89% by media experts. The value of practicality is seen from two things, namely: (1) Questionnaire for responses from media experts and two practitioner lecturers, it was found that the e-book developed could be applied in the good category (3.92) and met the practical criteria (80%) used in the online learning era. (2) The student response questionnaire in a small group of 10 people obtained the category Good (3.96) and very practical (85%). The percentage of student response questionnaire results at the implementation stage of the SIPDA class showed a positive response of 87.6%. The effectiveness aspect is seen from the average individual learning completeness of 71.42 with classical completeness criteria obtained by 91. And the N-Gain score was 0.71 in high category.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research aims to minimize the low activity and mathematics learning outcomes of Binjai 14 Public Middle School students in the matter of the Two-Variable Linear Equation System (SPDLV). The recipients of the action were class VIII 2 students at SMP Negeri 14 Binjai with a total of 32 students. The data collection technique for this action was carried out in a qualitative descriptive way through the cycle stages with two rounds where each round consisted of two meetings. The results of this study are increased activity and student learning outcomes by using the cooperative learning model of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type. From the results of the initial test data obtained 28 students (87,5%) of 32 students with an average of 50,29%. The results of data analysis in cycle I after the cooperative learning model of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type showed that the number of students who achieved mastery learning was 25 students (78,12%) out of 32 students with a class average of 75%. In cycle II, 28 students (87,5%) achieved a mastery level with a class average of 80,79%. There was an increase from cycle I to cycle II. Likewise with student activities while learning took place in cycle I, the number of students who had a percentage of activity ≥ 70% classically was 2 students (6.25%) of 32 students and at the end of cycle II it increased to 28 students (87,5%). The classical increase in activity from cycle I to cycle II was 30%. So this study concluded that through the TGT learning model it can increase students' activity and learning outcomes in mathematics.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how to improve students' mathematical creative thinking skills after using the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Geogebra media and to find out how students' answers process in solving problems on the mathematical creative thinking ability test after applying the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Geogebra media. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was conducted in two cycles, the subjects in the study were class IX-3 MTs Citra Abdi Negoro, totaling 27 students. This research is said to be successful if it meets the indicators of success, namely, (1) The level of students' mathematical creative thinking ability increases with a value of ≥ 85% at least in the medium category, (2) The process of completing student answers with a value of ≥60% at least in the good category, (3) The results student and teacher observations show a good category. Based on the results of the study, the average initial ability test score of 58.10 increased to 61.34 in cycle I and 80.55 in cycle II. There was also an increase in classical completeness, in the creative thinking ability test of 8 students (29.63%) in the initial ability test increased to 12 students (44.44%) in cycle I and 25 students (92.59%) in cycle II. For the process of student answers from cycle I with an average presentation of 50 students' answer processes, 31% increased to 70.67% in cycle II. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Geogebra media can improve students' creative thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain a constructivism-based e-module that is valid, practical, and effective, so that it can assist students in understanding the material for a two-variable linear equation system. The research instruments used were lesson plans, material validation sheets and e-module media, learning outcomes tests, and student and teacher response questionnaire sheets. After all instruments, lesson plans, and e-modules were declared valid by the validator, then readability tests and field trials were carried out. The results showed that: (1) the developed E-Module had met the validity values, namely (3.37 and 3.25) with a very feasible category; (2) The developed E-Module has met the practical value (79.75% and 90.5%) with very practical category; (3) The developed E-Module meets the effective criteria with the completeness of student learning outcomes that meet the criteria, namely 85% of students have obtained a score of 75 and the achievement of each indicator/learning objective is more than 65% of the total students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh media pembelajaran matematika yang valid, praktis, dan efektif dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE dimana model ini meliputi tahap analysis (analisis), design (desain), development (pengembangan), implementation (implementasi) dan evaluation (evaluasi). Sampel dari penelitian adalah 32 orang siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitan adalah angket validasi media dan materi, angket respon siswa, tes kemampuan awal pemecahan masalah matematis (pretest) dan tes kemampuan akhir pemecahan masalah matematis(posttest). Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan telah valid dengan rincian nilai rata-rata validasi media 4,63 dengan kategori sangat layak dan validasi materi dengan rata-rata nilai 4,69 dengan kategori sangat layak. Sementara nilai rata-rata kepraktisan media adalah 3,80 dengan kategori sangat praktis Aplikasi pembelajaran matematika pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar kubus dan balok yang dikembangkan sudah efektif karena telah memenuhi kriteria keefektifan yakni : (a) Tercapainya ketuntasan indikator/tujuan pembelajaran peserta didik dimana sebanyak 83,87% siswa dinyatakan tuntas dan mencapai nilai diatas kriteria ketuntasan minimum yakni 75; (b) Waktu yang digunakan tidak melebihi waktu yang pembelajaran biasa/efisien; dan (c) Respon siswa 95,05% positif.
