Abstract

 Kopi Robusta Kepahiang telah mendapatkan sertifikat Indikasi Geografis (IG). Upaya untuk mempertahankan mutu kopi beras dilakukan dengan menerapkan teknologi panen yang baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh tingkat kematangan buah saat dipanen terhadap kehilangan hasil akibat serangan penggerek buah kopi (PBKo) dan mutu kopi beras. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2019 sampai Agustus 2020 di Desa Bukit Sari, Kecamatan Kabawetan, Kabupaten Kepahiang, Provinsi Bengkulu. Tingkat kematangan buah kopi yang dipanen dibuat menjadi 3 kategori, yaitu: merah (K1), kuning kemerahan (K2), dan hijau kekuningan (K3). Parameter yang diamati adalah buah terserang PBKo, rendemen, mutu fisik kopi beras dan kandungan kimianya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat serangan PBKo tertinggi terjadi pada buah panen merah sebesar 34,33%, sedangkan rendemen tertinggi pada buah panen hijau kekuningan sebesar 20,52%. Persentase kehilangan hasil akibat serangan PBKo tertinggi terjadi pada buah merah sebesar 30,23%. Mutu fisik dan kandungan kimia yang terbaik diperoleh pada buah panen merah.

Abstract

Pendampingan teknik budidaya pola tanam ganda tanaman jahe dan kacang tanah adalah suatu pembelajaran yang difokuskan kepada peningkatan kemampuan psikomotorik warga sasaran. Jahe merupakan komoditas yang diharapkan oleh pemerintah desa menjadi hasil pertanian unggul desa. Sasaran praktik budidaya ini adalah anggota Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT). Sebagian anggota belum memahami maupun terampil budidaya jahe berdasarkan pada obsevasi awal yang telah dilakukan. Selain itu, anggota KWT juga menginginkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan tanaman lainnya, untuk menunjang pangan dan gizi seperti kacang tanah. Metode pendekatan praktek budidaya melalui partisipasi warga sasaran berupa penyuluhan dan praktik budidaya langsung di lapangan dengan bimbingan/pendampingan instruktur. Penyuluhan dan pendampingan praktik budidaya tumpang sari jahe dan kacang tanah dapat meningkatkan pemahaman anggota KWT.  Hasil kegiatan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa antusiasme sasaran (KWT) sangat tinggi, hampir 80% peserta yang hadir terlibat untuk mengikuti dengan sungguh-sungguh.

Abstract

Strengthening food security can be started at the household level, one way is through the program Sustainable Food House (RPL). Sustainable Food Houses Program in urban residential areas is one way of creative, innovative and environmentally friendly to realize the green area in the yard of a residential beautiful, cool and productive. How this is done by utilizing the pot wheelbase (wick pot) on a semi-organic vegetable production. IbM activities of community groups to inspire citizens and public housing complexes around the housing to apply RPL through the pot wheelbase in the cultivation of vegetables in home gardens urban areas. Utilization of open space with vegetable crops, in addition to economic value, it also creates a healthy and educational environment for the citizens housing complex BTN Hope and Housing Development UNIB. The results of the activities IbM the RPL program is able to evoke the spirit of the citizens in an effort to greening the housing area. This is evidenced by the use of the home page and all along the road on both the housing. It also provides technical skills of residents in the cultivation of vegetables in the pot so that the need for some types of vegetables for his family adequately met from the application of science and technology activities for the community by a team of professors from the University of Bengkulu. Keywords: green areas, sustainable food home, wick pot, vegetables

Abstract

Community service activities have been carried out in the Permu Village, Kepahiang Subdistrict, Kepahiang District. The target group is the group of mothers who take shelter Permu village in the "Tik Kerto". The purpose of this activity is to increase the number and improve the quality of coffee of Permu Village. The activities carried out by the method of illumination and field practice, transfer of technology, and promotion of products. Results show that a group of mothers who take the activities of in the village Permu Tik Kerto group are very enthusiastic and improving the quantity and quality of coffee products of Permu Village. Technology transfer processing using the ground coffee roaster machine is responded well and the quality of the resulting coffee powder are in accordance with SNI 01-3542-2004, the national standard of coffee. The conclusion of this activity is the formation of industry groups Tik Kerto coffee, coffee quality after transfer of technology is better than before, Permu Village coffee product of group of mothers Tik Kerto is improved. Suggestions for next years, implementation of the PPM complement of the activities carry out infrastructure and facilities for the production of ground coffee of Permu Village. Keywords: Coffee, Quantity and Quality Improvement, Permu Village
