Abstract

Learning materials are all materials used to help teacher in their learning process in the classroom, and istima’ (listening skill) is one of the four language skills that are basis for mastering other language skills such as speaking, reading and writing. The book of Silsilah Al-Daurah Al-Mukathafah fi Al-Lughah Al-Arabiyah is a book whose teaching material is sourched from several books written by learning experts in the Middle East, such as ‘Arabiyah Bayna Yadayk and Durûs Al-Lughah Al-‘Arabiyah and others. Researchers want to know about how to fill and apply the material istima’ in the book Silsilah Al-Daurah Al-Mukathafah fi Al-Lughah Al-Arabiyah in order to provide the right solution to the problems in the book using Richards theory. This study uses qualitative descriptive method to analyze the content of the book and the application of istima’ material according to the book of Silsilah Al-Daurah Al-Mukathafah fi Al-Lughah Al-Arabiyah in the Al-Fathimiyah Islamic Boarding School in Tambakberas Jombang. This study also uses descriptive analysis methods in its applied research. According to Richards in the preparation of the material istima’ uses four approaches, Bottom-Up Processing, Top-Down Processing, Transactional and Interactional. The results of this study indicate that the istima’ material in the book Silsilah Al-Daurah Al-Mukathafah fi Al-Lughah Al-Arabiyah and the application using the Bottom-up Processing and Transactional, because the material and the application are more inclined giving a detailed meaning.

Abstract

The difficulties in learning maharah kalam at the level of suprsegmental phonemes are found when students learn Arabic. Intonation errors, stress, and pausing. Therefore, this research was conducted to find out these mistakes and the solutions given by teacher in SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya. This research is a qualitative descriptive with the population of 8th grade student and the sampling is 8th grade C. Data collection techniques used in this research are using the method of observation, interview and questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used aredata reduction, data display, and data verification. The results showed: 1) errors in word stress were 49 errors; 2) errors in intonation were 30 errors; 3) errors at pauses were 55 errors. The solutions given by teacher with these mistakes were: 1) instructing students to repeat the dialogue to use the right intonation, stress, dan pause; 2) translating the text of theconversation and students writing the translation in their books, then the students will better understand the difference in meaning from the differences in intonation, stress, dan pause; 3) the teacher gives examples of the correct pronounciation of words according to the right intonation, stress, and pause.

Abstract

The policy on Independent Learning was established by the Indonesian government to promote teacher performance in midst of disruption in the educational aspect during this COVID-19 pandemic. However, teachers may not share the same perspective related to the policy. This study aims to examine Islamic Religious Education (IRE) teachers’ perspectives on Independent Learning policy. The research participants were IRE teachers who passed the 2019 In-service Teacher Profession Training Program at a State Islamic University in East Java, Indonesia. The mix-method research design with a qualitative-quantitative sequential exploratory analysis was used in this study. Qualitative data were obtained through telephone interviews, non-participant observations, and investigative documentary tracing, while quantitative data were obtained through a survey using online questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed using the descriptive qualitative phenomenological technique and descriptive statistics. The findings show that the increase in the use of mobile learning by IRE teachers is an implication of the disruption leading to the mobilization of the educational sector to approach the Independent Learning policy based on performances in three perspectives. First, the policy is considered a critique of traditional educational practices. Second, the policy serves as a space for independence with rules and regulations that are more open for students and schools. Third, the policy is an effort to free education from social and political pressures and restraints. This study provides a new understanding of the philosophical inter-connection in teachers’ perceptions to the practice of distant learning implementation based on informational technology.

Abstract

Amil Zakat Institute as a da'wah institution has a very important role in empowering the Islamic community, including young people. The perception of young people, especially college students, as agents of change seems to have been eroded by the fact that unemployment of undergraduate graduates has increased. This problem, of course, begins with a lack of understanding by young people about real-life turmoil, resulting in them not trying to train skills or learn competencies that will be useful for life after becoming graduates. This study aims to describe the pattern of guidance based on Social Entrepreneurship carried out by the Sahabat Muda Community LagzisPeduli Foundation in overcoming the problem of youth unemployment in three ways; look at the program, strategy, and implications. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results obtained by SahabatMuda have succeeded in producing Young Social Leaders when the cadres have completed training. Social Entrepreneurship basis with three indicators carried by Sahabat Muda Community have proven to be successful in producing Young Social Leaders.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the use of the online game-based Kahoot platform that is used to improve vocabulary mastery in learning Arabic. This study uses the method of classroom action research (CAR) using the Kemmis & McTaggart model with four stages, namely planning, carrying out an action, observation or observation, and reflection, with the design used in this study on two cycles, each cycle contains two cycles. Four stages, namely: 1) planning, 2) carrying out actions, 3) observing or observing, 4) thinking. The results obtained are that the use of the online gaming platform Kahoot can facilitate students to improve vocabulary mastery in Arabic The research conducted in the first course and the second course in the fifth semester SDI Az-Zahro Gresik shows that there is an increase in the Arabic vocabulary learning outcomes in Kahoot media application where the average number of student success results in the first cycle is 70% and the results in the second cycle rise to 87%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the administrative system applied at SMP Boarding School al-Muayyad by utilizing technology to make it easier for teachers to record and assess students. This research is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. This study took place at the Al-Muayyad Boarding School Junior High School. Sources of data in this study are the results of interviews, observations, and documentation. The analytical technique used by the researcher is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study are an information technology-based administrative system that is applied at the Al-Muayyad Boarding School Junior High School including forms, advantages, and disadvantages in the technology-based administrative process. This research also provides an overview of how to create and process code-based applications. These results offer codular optimization as an aid for institutions to facilitate the creation of an Android-based administrative system. Thus, it is hoped that there will be more formal institutions that can use codular as a tool to facilitate the implementation of the administrative system in their schools.

Abstract

ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence-based machine technology developed by OpenAI. It is trained to simulate human conversation by answering questions and interacting on various topics. This research adopts a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. This study aims to enable technology users, especially students, to understand patterns of digital ethics through ChatGPT in the Islamic educational environment. The research will conduct an in-depth analysis of student reflections on digital ethics through ChatGPT in Islamic Education classes. As students are agents of change, they need to understand patterns of digital ethics through ChatGPT in the Islamic educational environment. The research findings indicate that indicators of digital ethical patterns include respecting privacy and data security, avoiding the spread of illegal or harmful content, respecting ethical communication, being aware of the limitations of ChatGPT, and avoiding system misuse. ChatGPT in Islamic religious education can bring positive benefits and support responsible digital ethics development by considering ethics and morality in digital ethics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the modern Arabic language used by Alarabiya online. The focus of this research is on the analysis of the development of meaning and language structure, with the object of research being the online magazine Alarabiya. This study employs lexical, grammatical, and contextual analysis of meaning, as well as syntactic research by analyzing phrases, clauses, and verbs. The theory used in this research is al-Nazhariyyah al-Siyaqiyyah or contextual theory developed by J.R Firth. The research method used is a literature review with two approaches, namely sociolinguistics and lexical statistics. The primary data source in this research is the online magazine Alarabiya. The results of this research indicate that the modern Arabic language used by Alarabiya magazine has undergone many developments in meaning and structure, and has been influenced by the development of science and technology in various fields such as politics, economy, science, and technology.
