Abstract

Abstract: Writing is one language skills at High School. Based on the observation, the found that’s students faced a problem in how to express their mind and their idea to tell their experience in writing short story. It is seen from the results of students learning to write short stories not reach the minimum completeness criteria values. Suspected this was ave to the learning factors that are less attractive to students. This classroom research aims to (1) describe improving student in writing a short story with  using audio visual trailer movie, (2) describe result student in writing a short story with  using audio visual trailer movie. This research is this classroom action research. This research in conducted in two cycles. Each cycles goes through some steps: planning, acting/implementating, observating, reflecting. This classroom research aims to describe improving student in writing a short story at Class X.1 of Senior High School 2 Padangpanjang by audio visual movie trailer. The data of the research were qualitative data from observation using the observation sheets, field note, and quantitative data as such a student test performance assessment. The research findings are: (1) there is an increase in activity of students during the learning process in the first cyle and second cyle, audio visual aided movie trailer, it is evident from the observations collaborators, (2) there is an in students learning outcomes in writing short story, from precyle average only 66 to 35% the percentage of completeness, first cyle in increased to 75 with 74% percentage of completeness, and the second cyle the average value being 83 with a percentage of 94% completeness. Abstract

Indonesian Language Learning in Primary School has not been taught optimally in guiding students to be active and master the material.One of the less-than-optimal learning is about raw vocabulary material. In learning standard vocabulary there are still many students who encountered difficulties in determining the use of standard vocabulary in a sentence.For that need a solution to fix the problem, one solution is to apply learning models that are assisted learning media.One of the learning models that provide learning process activities that demand the active student is the cooperative type.In addition, the media also have an important role to the understanding of raw vocabulary material. Media is expected to help at the same time become interesting and fun in learning the standard vocabulary.Card media is a medium that can be used in learning standard vocabulary.Using the media card, will provide understanding and habituation in the introduction of raw vocabulary. The goal to be achieved from this effort is to apply the cooperative model of co-assisted media card. This application research using cooperative model type Modified Numbered Heads aided media card in learning Indonesian language. Data types are primary and secondary data. Sampling method using purposive sampling. Data collection uses observation, tests, and interviews. The research instrument is an observation sheet and a learning result test. Data processing analyzed data of learning result is done by test of equality of two mean. Then, hypothesis testing is done to determine whether the learning outcomes of Indonesian class VI A given the application of better with no application.Keywords: Modification Numbered Heads, Media Card

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan dan mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai sosialdalam cerpen koran Singgalangpada edisi Januari-Februari tahun 2015. Data penelitian iniadalah kalimat-kalimat, yang berhubungan dengan nilai sosial yang terdapat dalam cerpenterbitan koran Singgalang edisi Januari-Februari tahun 2015. Sumber data dalam penelitian iniadalah cerpen koran Singgalang edisi Januari-Februari tahun 2015.Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Objekpenelitiannya adalah cerpen koran Singgalang dari edisi Januari-Februari tahun 2015.Instrumen penelitiannya adalah peneliti sendiri ditambah dokumen berupa cerpen terbitankoran Singgalang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) membaca danmemahami cerpen media masa Singgalang yang sudah disediakan, dengan tujuan untukmemperoleh pemahaman yang jelas tentang cerpen yang disediakan, (2) mencatat danmenandai objek penelitian yang ditemukan, dan (3) menginventarisasikan data yangberhubungan dengan nilai sosial. Teknik analisis datanya adalah 1) mengidentifikasi datasesuai dengan konsep nilai sosial dan tokoh cerpen: (2) mengklasifikasikan data sesuai denganteori yang digunakan, teori yang digunakan adalah teori menurut Kluckhon (dalam Budiarti,2009:32-33) (3) menganalisis dan mengintrepetasikan data; (4) menyimpulkan hasil penelitiandan (5) menulis laporan. Dan teknik pengabsahan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian iniadalah teknik uraian rinci.Berdasarkan temuan data dan pembahasan, maka dapat disimpulkan beberapa halsebagai berikut: pertama terdapat 12 cerpen koran Singgalang yang menjadi sumber datapenelitian, kedua dari 12 cerpen terdapat enam cerpen yang memiliki nilai sosial yangdikemukakan oleh Kluckhon, yaitu nilai hakikat hidup manusia, nilai hakikat karya manusia,nilai hakikat manusia dalam ruang dan waktu, nilai hubungan manusia dengan alam sekitar,dan nilai hakikat manusia dengan sesamanya. Enam cerpen lainnya tidak memiliki salah satudari kelima nilai sosial tersebut. Ketiga dari lima nilai sosial yang ada hanya nilai hakikatmanusia dalam ruang dan waktu yang dimiliki oleh ke 12 cerpen. Nilai hakikat manusia dalamruang dan waktu adalah nilai yang mengajarkan cara memanfaatkan waktu yang ada denganbaik.Kata Kunci: nilai sosial, sosiologi sastra, cerpen Koran Singgalang.
