Abstract

The library is known as an information provider institution. Activities in libraries tend to revolve around procurement, storage and information services, not yet on knowledge management. Indeed knowledge is created from information, and vice versa, from knowledge will produce information. However, knowledge management has emerged from the economic and business world. Therefore this paper aims to dig deeper into the role and position of the library in the knowledge management dimension. This paper uses the literature study method, which is the source and method of data collection by taking data in the library, reading, recording, and processing research material. The results of this paper study are the library is a knowledge institution that also carries out the task of knowledge management. Librarians play the role of knowledge managers whose main task is to trace, select, sort, store and disseminate various types of knowledge. Librarians change the tacit knowledge that still exists in a person to expilcit, then the librarian explains the core of explicit knowledge in the library collection to the librarian. The conclusions of this study are the library is part of knowledge management. Libraries act as knowledge institutions and librarians automatically become workers / managers of knowledge. Furthermore the library processes the tacit knowledge into explicit knowledge, so that it is easily accessed, understood and utilized by the wider community

Abstract

The school library is one of the mandatory facilities owned by every school. and also become a center for reading books that are recreational to allow students can develop their creativity and imagination. The author did research with the attached title to measure the extent to which the effectiveness operations of a school library in implementing closed services in situations that do not allow students and visitors to visit library. The writing method in writing the final project is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, documentation, and also studies references. The result of writing this final project is the operational effectiveness of the SMA library Negeri 11 Bandar Lampung has not run effectively. This can be measured in the use of aspects with effectiveness guidelines. In its application, there are some results conform to regulatory standards as well as appropriate aspects. From the aspect regulations that are not in accordance with standard provisions with regulatory aspects on school library, then the aspect of the goal that has not been able to maximize activities learning is due to the non-optimal delivery of materials, while the functional aspects who have not reached library regulatory standards by limiting activities in library. For the planning aspect where the library has other plans with according to standard library regulations that provide access to visitors. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the operational effectiveness of library during the Covid-19 pandemic is not effective, because there are aspects regulations, aspects of objectives and aspects of functions that do not meet the standards.

Abstract

Perpustakaan sebagai jantungnya pendidikan tentulah harus dikelola oleh tenaga yang berkompeten agar ketersediaan bahan dan sumber belajar di perpustakaan sekolah dapat ditingkatkan secara optimal untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian penulisan Tugas Akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi serta kendala yang dihadapi dalam meningkatkan sumber daya manusia berkualitas. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, studi pustaka dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah; Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia di Perpustakaan SMA Negeri 2 Metro telah menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan terhadap kebijakan yang telah dibuat, seperti dalam melaksanakan pendidikan formal, pendidikan non formal dan pendidikan informal. Namun kendala yang dihadapi dalam kebijakan pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Perpustakaan SMA Negeri 2 Metro adalah: terbatasnya Sumber Daya Pustakawan sehingga pekerjaan belum spesialisasi dan banyaknya pekerjaan staff honorer diluar perpustakaan. Untuk itu, terdapat solusi yang akan dilakukan untuk pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia di Perpustakaan SMA Negeri 2 Metro, antara lain: menjalin kerjasama, melakukan peningkatkan Sumber Daya Manusia dan memberikan motivasi serta dukungan penuh agar terciptanya skill yang memadai di Perpustakaan SMA Negeri 2 Metro.

Abstract

Perpustakaan keliling adalah bagian dari pelayanan perpustakaan umum daerah yang mendatangi/mengunjungi pembacanya dengan menggunakan kendaraan darat. Penulisan TA ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran perpustakaan keliling dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasi UMKM masyarakat Tanggamus dengan pokok bahasan bagaimana peran perpustakaan keliling serta kendala yang dihadapi selama memberikan informasi terhadap UMKM masyarakat Tanggamus.Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil penulisan menunjukkan bahwa Perpustakaan keliling Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Derah Kabupaten Tanggamus berperan aktif dan partisipasif dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasi UMKM masyarakat Tanggamus, layanan perpustakaan keliling sudah sesuai dengan prosedur yang ada. . Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan kegiatan sosialisasi dan kunjungan aktif yang dilakukan oleh layanan perpustakaan keliling, namun terdapat 2 kendala dalam hal pelaksanaannya diantaranya kurangnya dana dan waktu serta jarak tempuh lokasi tujuan layanan perpustakaan keliling.
