<![CDATA[Latar Belakang : Salah satu penyebab AKB adalah masalah pemberian air susu ibu UNICEF (2013). Salah satu faktor keberhasilan menyusui ialah teknik menyusui yang benar. Keterampilan menyusui dapat diperoleh dari kelas ibu hamil. Cakupan ASI ekslusif di wilayah kerja UPT BLUD Puskesmas Narmada tahun 2016 sebesar 90,7% menurun 2,5% dibandingkan tahun 2015 sebesar 93,2%.Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan teknik menyusui pada ibu nifas berdasarkan keikutsertaan dalam kelas ibu hamil di wilayah kerja UPT BLUD Puskesmas Narmada Kabupaten Lombok Barat tahun 2018.Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan waktu Cross Sectional. Telah dilaksanakan pada bulan April sampai dengan Mei 2018 di wilayah kerja UPT BLUD Puskesmas Narmada.Populasi yang penelitian ini adalah 81 orang ibu nifas pada bulan April sampai dengan Mei. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik Probabbility Sampling dengan metode Simple Random Sampling. Sebesar 30 orang ibu nifas yang telah mengikuti kelas ibu hamil dan 30 orang yang tidak mengikuti kelas ibu hamil. Tingkat keterampilan ibu diobservasi menggunakan checklist.Hasil : Keterampilan teknik menyusui ibu yang mengikuti kelas ibu hamil sebanyak 19 orang ibu (63.3%) dalam kategori mahir dan 11 orang (36.7%) dalam kategori tidak mahir. Sedangkan teknik menyusui ibu yang tidak mengikuti kelas ibu hamil sebanyak 6 orang (20%) dalam kategori mahir dan 24 orang (80%) dalam kategori tidak mahir.Kesimpulan : Adanya perbedaan yang signifikan dalam keterampilan teknik menyusui pada ibu nifas berdasarkan keikutsertaan dalam kelas ibu hamiAbstractBackground: One of the causes of Infant Mortality Rate is the problem of breastfeeding UNICEF (2013). One of the success factors for breastfeeding is the correct breastfeeding technique. Breastfeeding skills can be obtained from the Antenatal Class. The coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in the work area of UPT BLUD Puskesmas Narmada in 2016 amounted to 90.7% decreased 2.5% compared to 2015 of 93.2%.Objective: To determine differences in breastfeeding technical skills in postpartum mothers based on participation in Antenatal Class in UPT BLUD Primary Health Care Narmada Working area, West Lombok Regency in 2018.Method: This research is a quantitative study with a cross sectional time approach. The study was conducted in April to May 2018 in the working area of UPT BLUD Puskesmas Narmada. The population of this study was 81 postpartum mothers from April to May. The sample size in this study was taken with Probabbility Sampling technique with Simple Random Sampling method. As many as 30 postpartum women who have attended antenatal classes and 30 people who do not attend the antenatal class. The mother's skill level was observed using a checklist.Results: The skills of breastfeeding womens who attended antenatal classes were 19 mothers (63.3%) in the advanced category and 11 people (36.7%) in the unskilled category. While breastfeeding techniques for mothers who did not attend antenatal classes as many as 6 people (20%) in the advanced category and 24 people (80%) in the unskilled category, the study showed a difference in technical skills of breastfeeding womens based on participation in antenatal classes.Conclusion: There is a difference in breastfeeding technical skills in postpartum womens based on participation in antenatal classes. ]]>
