Abstract

AbstractSometimes there are contradictions between social dan individual aspect of people because the social side opens a possibility in developing human autonomy, but also impedes a growth of creativity. This contradictions always accompany the history of human and determine the style of knowledge produced through an education process. In this case, the mediums used to have knowledge and the methods of education must not become aseriously debate matter, but the most important thing to reconsider is the essence of science finding.Keywords: Style of knowledges, Education, Science

Abstract

The objective of this study was to improve the students’ motivation and achievement in the course of Electrical Installation through the 5 E learning cycle (5 E LC) at the Department of Electrical Engineering Education, Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University. The approach used in this study was the 5 stages of the 5 E learning cycle consists of Engagement, Exploration, Explain, Extend, and Evaluation. This  study is categorised as Classroom Action Research (CAR). It referred to the model of CAR offered by Kemmis and Taggart. The data was collected using documentation, questionnaires, observation and tests. The data was analysed descriptively. The results of the study showed the 5 E learning cycle could improve the students’ achievement, learning activities, and learning motivation. The mean score of learning achievement was 79. It  was higher compared to the minimum target that was 60. The improvement of learning activities in the first  cycle, second cycle and third cycle were 1.25, 2.42, and 2.92 respectively. The improvement of learning motivation in the first cycle, second cycle and third cycle were 2.5, 2.8, and 3.2 respectively.

Abstract

Bank Indonesia as the central bank and banking supervisor in Indonesia has determined the size of the assessment of the well-grounded of banks. One of the qualifications of BI is that banks with problematic payments must not exceed 5% ( Jurnal JEST,Vol.1;2014). Preliminary data obtained in the field indicate that problematic payments at BMT KUBE Sejahtera 001 Bandar Setia are more than 10%, and this is a matter of research that must be carried out. This research is a qualitative study using three data sources; literature, interviews and observations. The results of the study were obtained that (1). The factors that cause problematic payments at BMT KUBE Sejahtera 001 Bandar Setia are (a) Weak purchasing power (60%); (b) Number of similar trade competition (30%); (c) The customer changed address and did not report to BMT KUBE Sejahtera 001 Bandar Setia (10%). (2). The strategies were implemented by BMT KUBE Sejahtera 001 Bandar Setia in handling problem payments on murabahah financing were: (a). Providing warning letters to BMT members who experience problem payments. (b). BMT KUBE Sejahtera 001 Bandar Setia made a visit to the homes of BMT members who experienced problematic payments to see the objective conditions of the members and the business being run. (c). BMT KUBE Sejahtera 001 Bandar Setia asked directly about the business development of BMT members who experienced problems in repaying loans. (d). BMT KUBE Sejahtera 001 Bandar Setia reschedules problem financing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif kausal bermaksud untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif Jigsaw dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VII pada mata pelajaran PPKn di MTs Syirkah Salafiyah Jenggawah. Dalam penelitian ini yang dikaji adalah: 1) adakah pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar? 2) adakah pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar, dan 3) adakah pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif Jigsaw dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar secara bersama-sama? Tujuan: 1) menguji adakah pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar, 2) menguji adakah pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar, 3) menguji adakah pengaruhmodel pembelajaran kooperatif Jigsaw dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar secara bersama-sama. Responden penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII pada mata pelajaran PPKn semester genap tahun pelajaran 2018-2019 di MTs Syirkah Salafiyah Jenggawah dengan jumlah 42 anak, lokasi penelitian dipilih dengan metode purpose sampling. Penelitian ini disebut kuantitatif dengan desain kausal. Data yang dikumpulkan dengan cara menggunakan angket, tes dan metode bantu dokumentasi serta wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) nilai sig. dari variabel model pembelajaran kooperatif Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar.011a, kesimpulan sig. < 0,05, berarti terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar, 2)nilai sig. dari variabel pengaruh pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar adalah .000a, kesimpulan sig. < 0,05, ini berarti terdapat pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar, 3) hasil output analisis regresi diperoleh Fhitung 15.247 dengan sig. .000a, karena <0,05 maka terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif Jigsaw dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar secara bersama-sama.
