Abstract

We establish in this paper that under usual assumption on the function in abstract Cauchy problem, the existence of global attractor for the semigroup generated in this problem is merely a consequence of such a priori estimate. It is shown that asymptotic behavior of solutions can controlled by this estimate.

Abstract

Ruang b-metrik merupakan generalisasi dari ruang metrik. Salah satu bahasan yang menarik untuk dikaji dalam ruang b-metrik adalah teorema titik tetap. Pada penelitian ini, ditunjukkan syarat cukup untuk menjamin bahwa eksistensi dan ketunggalan titik tetap untuk beberapa pemetaan kontraksi tergeneralisasi dalam ruang b-metrik, termasuk generalisasi pemetaan kontraksi dalam bentuk rasional. Beberapa contoh diberikan untuk menjamin keberadaaan dan ketunggalan titik tetap di ruang b-metrik.

Abstract

A new two-dimensional mathematical model was developed to describe the transport phenomena of carbon dioxide in concrete structures. By treating transport phenomena as a concrete carbonation process, a two-dimensional linear partial differential equation was derived based on the principle of mass balance and convective-dispersive Equation. It was found the analytical solution by the separation of variables method combined with some substitution approaches. The numerical results are presented to illustrate the practical application of this model.

Abstract

This paper discussed about the proof of the fixed point theorem on the standard 2-normed spaces by using completeness. The completeness of the standard 2-normed spaces is shown by defining a new norm. Two linear independent vectors on standard 2-normed spaces are used to define the new norm, namely  which has been shown to be equivalent to standard norm.

Abstract

Graph G is a discrete set pair with the notation V(G) with its element called a vertex and the set of different and unordered pairs with the notation E(G) where the element is called edge. One type of graph Gm,n is a grid graph that is notated is a graph of the result of the operation between two path graphs (Pm*Pn). The set of partition∏ ={S1,S2,…,Sk} of V(G) is called a resolving partition if its representation for each vertex on graph G is different. The cardinality of the minimum resolving partition of graph G is the partition dimension of the graph G denoted pd(G). This paper discusses the dimension of the grid graph partition Gm,n with the result pd(Gm,n) = 3 for m,n>=2 with n even value.
